Scott Disick’s summer of partying continues.
The reality star, 34, stopped at Shelter Island’s Sunset Beach Hotel in the Hamptons, New York, on Sunday — and while he only stayed for about an hour, Disick made his presence known.
According to Johnny Sturges, a Sunset Beach lifeguard who was on duty at the time of Disick’s visit, the father of three arrived intoxicated around 2:30 p.m. with a group of men and women before continuing to drink at the bar, where he was “saying a lot of vulgar comments to girls right next to him.”

You've heard the saying, "garbage in, garbage out" in regards to computers, but this saying also applies to filmmaking as well.
You've also heard it said, "you get what you pay for" and since this movie is a Syfy special, streamed on Netflix, well, you can see where we're headed.
The setup for The Hollow is three sisters, Sarah, Marley and Emma (a name you'll tire of hearing within the first five minutes). Emma suffered a traumatic event of seeing her parents burned to death in a car accident. This event causes her to have nightmares and violent visions. Her sisters decide to take her to their aunt Cora's house in the hopes she'll be able to deal with the trauma.
Aunt Cora's house rests in the middle of the woods on a place called Shelter Island, which is remote, and of course, has no cell reception.

Bethenny Frankel puts the short-shorts in water sports! The 43-year-old former star of The Real Housewives of New York was spotted Sunday riding the waves atop a paddleboard with her hot new man, 34-year-old Michael "Mac" Cerussi III, during a jaunt to Shelter Island. The paddle was all his, as the now former talk show host and Skinnygirl cocktails tycoon opted to let her beefy boyfriend do all the work. And it was wet-hair, don't-care for Bethenny—not to mention wet-shirt, don't-hurt! Clad in denim cut-offs and a short white crop-top, she didn't seem to mind that the ocean spray had soaked her top straight through. Frankel, who filed for divorce from second...

Shelter Island is one of those quiet, intimate portraits of common men reaching for their goals. In Shelter Island, New York, there is an aloof outsider artist, Harald Olson, who is perfectly content slapping paint on a canvas in that wholly contemporary style, playing with colors and shapes to create art that speaks to him. There is also Harald’s patron, gas station owner Jimmy Olinkiewicz, father of Autistic son Alex Olinkiewicz and blue-collar everyman whose aim is to promote and make money for Harald in his free time.

The series finale of "How I Met Your Mother" airs Monday (March 31), and it's prompted a lot of nostalgia here at Zap2it. The show loves jumping back and forth in time, so we thought we'd do the same.
Here are our 10 favorite episodes of the series, along with one more that packed a big wallop at the end. They're arranged in the order in which they aired.
'Sweet Taste of Liberty'
(Season 1, episode 3) Ted and Barney's first wild adventure: A night out to pick up women turns into a trip to Philadelphia, being taken into custody by airport security and a last-minute detour to lick the Liberty Bell.
While Ted might complain about how crazy Barney is most of the time, their adventure to Philly and back was indeed legendary. Besides, now he knows what the Liberty Bell tastes like: Freedom and pennies.

Glass Eye Pix announced Tdc Entertainment’s Shelter Island acquired the DVD and non-theatrical North American rights to the upcoming documentary “American Jesus.” Gravitas Ventures will handle VOD and theatrical distribution for the film.
The film is director Aram Garriga’s ambitious look at Christianity and the religious obsession in American culture. It made its premiere this year at the Woodstock Film Festival and Sitges Film Festival.
Here’s the synopsis:
American Jesus is an exploration of Christianity in every faction of American life, from the bread line to the yoga studio, from the humble churches of snake handlers to the mega churches of the ex-urbs. Christian cowboys, bikers and musicians, comedians, surfers and cage-fighters, they are all doing it for Christ. Aram Garriga travels from his native Barcelona to the politically divided United States to chronicle the sometimes bizarre relationship between faith, materialism, politics and personal passions in this uniquely American tableaux.

Summer is the season of the lobster.
Healthy Hollywood recently spent a few days at the beach in New York's Shelter Island. The marquee menu item at all the local restaurants was lobster - lobster pasta, lobster salad and, of course, the season fave -- the lobster roll.
Although lobster is available all year round, most lobsters are harvested and eaten in the summer months. The lobster meat tends to be juicier, sweeter and is definitely cheaper and more plentiful at this time of the year.
And, lobster goes perfectly with a nice, crisp glass of chardonnay. ...

Nandana Sen, who was last seen in Jhootha Hi Sahi with John Abraham, recently tied the knot with the Chairman of Penguin Publishers and CEO John Makinson on June 22 in a private ceremony in Shelter Island, U.S.
Nandana was dating producer Madhu Mantena for about nine years and apparently broke up with him in May. She met Makinson in November 2012 and the question was popped in February. While Nandana is high on marriage celebrations, Mantena who is currently working with Phantom Films, is quite happy for her and expressed his grief for not making it to the wedding as he was too busy with Lootera's promotions.

This week on How I Met Your Mother, Robin and Marshall battled on the dance floor, while Ted took a long hard look at himself and his future.
"The Time Travelers " was a mashup of Multiplicity, Shelter Island and A Christmas Carol that at times confused the Dickens out of me. Still, I thoroughly enjoyed the episode, despite doing the dog head tilt a few times.
The revelation that the Minnesota Tidal Wave night happened five years ago was a sort of Sixth Sense moment, yet I was left a little confounded as to what to make of seeing all the "Ted people" Adding to the evening's twists and turns was guest star Jayma Mays.
Her performance as the two coat check girls was great. I loved the contrast between the smartly dressed version on the left and the one on the right wearing Ted's Wesleyan sweatshirt. I don't think she is the mother,...

Two filmmakers head to the frigid North Pole in documentary Into the Cold.
Fewer than 150 people have visited the North Pole on foot — ever. Award-winning photographer Sebastian Copeland and expedition guide Keith Heger filmed their 400-mile trek to the top of the world during two months in 2009, facing harsh temperatures that fell to -50 degrees. Their trip retraced and commemorated the centennial of Robert E. Peary’s successful expedition in April 1909.
During the journey showcased in Into the Cold, Copeland and Heger each pulled a 200-pound sled while wearing cross country skis over uneven terrain and ice boulders. Copeland survived a fall through the ice and the men dealt with life-threatening food shortages.
With Global Warming, this same trek will no longer be possible in the next 10 or 20 years as temperatures rise, changing the landscape and endangering the...

Britain's Pippa Middleton was a guest of Roger Federer at the Us Open yesterday (04.09.12). The younger sister of the Duchess of Cambridge - who arrived in New York last weekend to meet with book publishers about her upcoming entertainment guide - took in some tennis action at the world-famous event after being personally invited to be there by the five-times champion. Pippa was there with Harvard graduate and Usta scion Spencer Vegosen as they watched the quarter-final match between Victoria Azarenka and Samantha Stosur. Before going to the Us Open, Pippa - who is rumoured to be attending New York Fashion Week - found herself whisked away by wealthy businessman Andre Balazs, to his luxury resort on Shelter Island...

Martin Scorsese.s highly anticipated 3D adventure, Hugo, was officially released nationwide today. (Check out our review right Here) Last weekend, I was lucky enough to attend the NY press junket. Even without the presence of Martin Scorsese, the amount of talent at the press conference was intimidating. Sacha Baron Cohen, Emily Mortimer, Chloe Grace Moretz, Asa Butterfield, Sir Ben Kingsley, producers Graham King and John Logan & author Brian Selznick were all in attendance. A lot was covered during the 40-minute event. Here are some of the highlights of what was said.
Sacha Baron Cohen on his character: Well, there is actually, there is a bit of romance between myself and Emily.s character, which is actually the first romantic plot I.ve had that.s not been with a black prostitute or a man. So it was actually my first. We didn.t actually have a kissing scene, but...

As in non-tv life, some of "How I Met Your Mother's" biggest moments coincide with weddings. None of them have involved Ted's (Josh Radner) own mysterious bride, but that might soon change.
Season 6 kicks off September 20 with "Big Days." According to CBS, the episode finds Ted and Barney (Neil Patrick Harris) fighting over an attractive woman -- who just happens to be with Cindy (Rachel Bilson), Ted's failed flame who we know to be the roommate of the show's titular mother. Now its clearly too much to hope for that the new woman in question be Ted's future wife, but that doesn't mean we won't get some glimpse of her.
There are rumors that the episode features a wedding, one that won't likely occur in the series' normal chronology. And considering co-creator Craig Thomas' revelation that the premiere will include a glimpse of an important day in Ted's life,...

One has to hand it to the Tony nominators: They didn't follow conventional wisdom nor did they particularly pay heed to commercial considerations.
Indeed, some of the biggest noms went to shows that are either long gone ("Ragtime," "Finian's Rainbow," "In the Next Room, or the Vibrator Play," "Time Stands Still") or lagging at the boxoffice ("Fela!" "Memphis," "Next Fall," "Million Dollar Quartet").
The biggest surprises Tuesday were the omissions.
"The Addams Family," the most successful new musical of the season, was thoroughly dissed, failing to get noms for best musical, for its stars Nathan Lane or Bebe Neuwirth, or even for its production design. And though it did get one for original score, that's not exactly a coup in a season in which only one other musical, "Memphis," even had one. The category had to be embarrassingly filled out with the forgettable music from "Enron" and Branford Marsalis' incidental music for "Fences.

Marc Vorlander's Showgirls: The Return is one of the more perplexing projects of recent days, with widespread speculation out there that the whole thing is a hoax. But if it is, Vorlander's certainly not letting on.
Our good friends at German film site Equilibrium recently had a chat with the man in his native tongue and they have been good enough to offer up an English translation to us here at Twitch.
Equilibrium (Eq): Please describe how we have to imagine the filmmaker Marc Vorlander.
Marc Vorlander (Mv): You don't have to. However, right now I'm sitting in front of my laptop and catch up with what people write on their blogs. I like the numerous speculations about about the girl crawling on the floor ... "is she stunned or is she retarded?" I really like that and if I wasn't the director I would also ask the same questions.

It's a good day for funny people, especially if your name is Tina Fey or Seth MacFarlane.
Fey's series, 30 Rock, was handed 22 Emmy nominations this morning, which stands as a record for a comedy series. She and Alec Baldwin were also nominated for acting awards. Plus, for the first time some of the other actors on NBC's laffer were recognized. Jane Krakowski, Jack McBrayer and Tracy Morgan all picked up supporting nominations.
MacFarlane's Family Guy was also nominated for best comedy series, the first time an animated show has cracked that category since The Flintstones in 1961. Two years ago MacFarlane decided to pull his show from contention in the animated series category to have it considered for best comedy.
Mad Men, the drama about the advertising world in the sixties, picked up 16 nominations in the drama categories, including a best actor nod for Jon Hamm. Hamm is also nominated as...

So that’s that, huh? Five episodes into the season and Robin’s already gone to Tokyo and back (leaving two jobs in her wake), and Ted’s made multiple life-changing decisions that all come to naught when his fiancée leaves him at the altar to get back together with her ex. Are the Himym writers in a hurry because they have a lot of better stories they want to get to, or did they just sense that the “Robin moves out of the country” and “Ted marries a doctor from New Jersey” stories were non-starters? Whatever the reason, “Shelter Island” was at once poignant, funny, and way too rushed. I don’t know if there was enough material here for a two-parter, but I would’ve liked to see more of the gang gallivanting around the titular yoga center, where Ted and Stella impulsively decide to get married after Stella’s sister.

Former Gov. Hugh Carey and his family hosted a fundraiser for Gov. Paterson at their place on Shelter Island on Sunday. Carey, who took the lead in solving the state-city fiscal crisis in the 1970s, gave Paterson DVD copies of all his State of the State addresses. There had been some suggestion that Paterson stole from Carey's famous line - "The days of wine and roses are over" - when he said, last week, "It is time . . . to cut up our credit cards. The era of buy now, pay later and later is over.
