Unilever is bringing the drama to TikTok. The consumer goods giant is behind Dirty Deeds: A Kitchen Crime, a soap opera that will be distributed via the #CleanTok hashtag.
In the case of Dirty Deeds, the term “soap opera” is quite literal. The show will feature a web of intrigue among a group of anthropomorphized cleaning products. Sam Cotton, an actor with more than three million followers on TikTok, co-developed Dirty Deeds alongside Unilever.
Dirty Deeds arrives during the second phase of Unilever’s activity on TikTok. Earlier this year, the global brand’s Cleanipedia website became the official brand sponsor of the central #CleanTok hub, which has received nearly 100 billion views to date.
Cleanipedia, like #CleanTok, is a resource filled with cleaning tips and hacks. It’s also the other distribution platform for Dirty Deeds; the soap opera’s inaugural five-episode season has been released in its entirety. (Spoiler...

If you were in Simi Valley, California, this past Monday night and just wanted to knock down some pins at Harley’s Valley Bowl, then you were probably pretty surprised by what you saw when you walked through the bowling alley’s door: Dave Grohl hopping on stage with Taylor Hawkins’ son, Shane Hawkins, to play a set of classic rock covers with the late Hawkins’ former side project Chevy Metal. Check out the setlist and watch videos of the performance below.
That’s right, Grohl joined the band for an upbeat, uplifting performance, which not only included songs from classic artists like Van Halen, Led Zeppelin, Queen, and more, but also featured additional guest appearances from living rock legends. Stephen Perkins of Jane’s Addiction and Porno for Pyros, Chad Smith of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Gregg Bissonette, known for his work with David Lee Roth and others,...

Tell Me Your Secrets isn’t just the title for Amazon’s latest thriller: It’s also amantra that’s likely running through the minds of all of the series’ major characters throughout Season 1.

‘Palm Beach.’
Rachel Ward’s Palm Beach, a comedy-drama about a group of lifelong friends reuniting to celebrate a special birthday, will open the Sydney Film Festival at the State Theatre on Wednesday June 5.
Scripted by Ward and Joanna Murray-Smith, the film stars Bryan Brown, Sam Neill, Greta Scacchi, Richard E Grant, Jacqueline McKenzie, Claire van der Boom, Aaron Jeffrey, Heather Mitchell, Matilda Brown and new faces Frances Berry and Charlie Vickers.
The good times roll at a Palm Beach house with loads of laughter, lavish meals, wine and music until tensions mount and new and old resentments surface over three days. Brown, Neill and Grant play former members of a one hit wonder band called Pacific Sideburns.
The inspiration stemmed from a Christmas in Wales which Brown and his wife Rachel spent with three other couples five years ago. It was a funny and warm occasion but when they...

Welcome to this review of The Shield’s Final Chapter, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have the final WWE match of The Shield, as well as the finale of Dean Ambrose’s WWE career. Let’s see if it all goes to plan for Dean Ambrose, or Jon Moxley as he will be called, once again, if he wrestles any-where else. It’s time for the final chapter.
Match #1: Finn Bálor def. Elias in an Intercontinental Championship Match The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
In the opening moments of the WWE Network special event, Elias took center stage with his guitar, belittling each member of the Shield and still clearly fuming over the earth-shattering SmackDown Live assault by Reigns on both he and WWE Chairman Mr. McMahon. Although Elias’ pre-match musical performance turned into a surprise duet with the addition of his scheduled opponent,...

Welcome to this week’s Raw review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have the Raw after Wrestlemania. Let’s see if it is a success or a failure, like my bid to buy Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling…which was a miserable failure. I’m not kidding. I actually tried to buy Tna in 2014. Anyway, here comes this review, which might just be a lot of fun…might.
Match #1: Raw Tag Team Champions Zack Ryder & Curt Hawkins def. The Revival – Raw Tag Team Championship Match The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Curt Hawkins finally won a match at WrestleMania Kickoff — and the Raw Tag Team Titles, too, much to the chagrin of The Revival. But was Hawkins & Zack Ryder’s win a fluke or a harbinger of things to come? All indications point to the latter, as the new champions successfully defended their titles...

Welcome to this week’s Raw review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have more Monday Night delight…I’m not saying that again. I thought of it, but I’m not saying that again. All right, it’s time to get to Raw.
Match #1: John Cena, Seth Rollins & Finn Bálor def. Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose, Drew McIntyre & Bobby Lashley The following is courtesy of WWE.com:
On any given Raw in 2018, you could count on Seth Rollins to routinely steal the show and take control of the conversation. 2019 is shaping up to be no different: While John Cena and Drew McIntyre had the first word of Raw’s opening 20-odd minute Six-Man Tag Team Match by way of their confrontation at the top of the show, The Kingslayer wrestled the headline right out from under them by pinning Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose and setting...

Well tonight’s the night, the “fresh start” for WWE following the risible ratings of the past few weeks and the disdain the fans have for the current WWE product. Will Mr. McMahon’s appearance tonight really turn things around? Read on to find out!
Match #1: Kurt Angle, Apollo Crews & Raw Tag Team Champions Chad Gable & Bobby Roode def. Baron Corbin (No Disqualification Handicap Match) The following is courtesy of WWE.com:
Never let it be said the McMahon family isn’t a sporting clan. Despite the WWE Universe’s overwhelming desire to see Baron Corbin hit the bricks, WWE’s first family gave The Lone Wolf one final chance to win the permanent Raw General Manager gig … provided he won his way back to the position. To put it lightly, it did not go well. While Corbin certainly held his own against his originally announced opponent, Kurt Angle,...

President Donald Trump’s longtime personal attorney/fixer Michael Cohen has been sentenced to 36 months in federal prison on 9 counts — six of them having nothing to do with Trump. Even so, as he pleaded for leniency, Cohen took huge swings at Potus.
On the charge of lying to Congress about Trump’s Moscow project, Cohen has been sentenced to two months, to be served concurrently. He will begin his jail time on March 6.
Arguing for leniency in U.S. District Courthouse in Manhattan, Cohen this morning said his biggest crime was “blind loyalty” to Trump.
“Recently the President tweeted a statement calling me weak and it was correct, but for a much different reason than he was implying, ” Cohen said in an emotional courtroom scene. “It was because, time and again, I felt it was my duty to cover up his dirty deeds.”
History will not judge him to be the villain of this story,...

Sam Neill and Bryan Brown.
Bryan Brown will receive this year’s Longford Lyell Award, the highest honour bestowed by the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts (Aacta).
Director Ian Dunlop was the first recipient of the honour named after film pioneers Raymond Longford and Lottie Lyell at the 1968 AFI Awards.
The roll call of honorees includes Peter Weir, Geoffrey Rush, Fred Schepisi, Jan Chapman, David Stratton, Don McAlpine, Al Clark, Jacki Weaver, Andrew Knight, Cate Blanchett and, last year, Phillip Noyce.
“In the 38 years since Bryan received his first AFI Award we have seen him firmly established as one of Australia’s most respected actors. As one of our earliest performance winners it is fitting that we honour Bryan this year as AFI | Aacta celebrates its 60th anniversary,” said AFI | Aacta CEO Damian Trewhella.

Match #1: Braun Strowman def. Dean Ambrose via Disqualification The following is courtesy of WWE.com:
Could Dean Ambrose beat Braun Strowman? He certainly came close when he planted The Monster Among Men with a surprise Dirty Deeds after a long, grueling bout that was going Strowman’s way until The Lunatic Fringe up and dropped his foe with the double-arm Ddt that once won Ambrose the WWE Championship. But it wasn’t enough: Strowman kicked out of the pinfall, rolled out of the ring and (despite a frantic follow-up from Ambrose) quickly turned the proceedings from a match into a statement beating — one so severe Roman Reigns appeared to run interference, clocking Stroman with a Superman Punch that led...

Prophets of Rage guitarist and Rage Against the Machine founder Tom Morello offers a scathing take of the U.S. government in his previously unreleased cover of AC/DC’s “Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap.”
The guitarist adds a folky spin to the 1976 hard-rock track, belting about political corruption in a Bob Dylan-esque tone over a stark acoustic riff. “You got a head of state; you want him gone, but you ain’t got the guts,” he sings. “They won’t do what Uncle Sam says, drives the world bank nuts.

Three college pals, depressed with their current social situation, decide to venture to New Orleans in pursuit of the happiness that has thus far eluded them – boobs, beads and brews. What could go possibly go wrong?
Mardi Gras, also know as Mardi Gras: Spring Break in the Us, has quietly snuck out onto DVD here in the UK with no fanfare whatsoever (I couldn’t even find the UK DVD box art for this review!) whilst American Reunion has has a huge marketing push and a theatrical release. The difference between the two? The budget. In other words, Mardi Gras is just as good as it’s gross-out comedy big-screen counterpart and features a cast that it just as likeable – in fact I’d...

Deadline are reporting that Milo Ventimiglia, best known for his role as Peter Petrelli on Heroes (but who I like to think of as the guy that does the Dirty Deeds), has officially signed on the dotted line and will star in Frank Darabont’s upcoming period crime drama L.A. Noir, the “true story of a decades-long conflict between the Los Angeles Police Department, under the determined leadership of Police Chief William Parker, and ruthless criminal elements led by Mickey Cohen, a one-time boxer who rose to the top of L.A.’s criminal world. The series is a fast-paced crime drama set in Los Angeles during the 1940s and ’50s. It’s a world of glamorous movie stars, powerful studio heads, returning war heroes, a powerful and corrupt police force and an even more dangerous criminal network determined to make L.A. its West Coast base”.
