I have to say that this one of the best films that were screened at The Greek Cultural Independent Film Festival. The film revolves around Jason, an adulterer who denies to having an affair, when confronted with a shirt that has lipstick on it, by his companion Medea. Finding a marriage license in Jason's coat, Medea plots out her revenge. She first sends an enchanted scarf to his mistress, which ends up strangling her when she puts it around her neck. She then arranges a formal dinner for the two of them, that leads to a climactic ending that will leave you stunned. For anyone that has read or seen the play performed in high school, this version is a present day retelling that will not let you down.
This film was brilliantly thought out and well acted. The shots were beautiful and filled with great artistry. And the music was eerie and encompassed the style of the film. Highly recommend and hope that this film will be released on DVD.
