Valerie Gets a Very Special Episode is the seventh episode of season one of The Comeback, and Valerie Cherish (Lisa Kudrow, who captures the nuances and insecurities and sensitivity of Cherish) is on top of the world because the writers gave her a very special episode after they trashed her in the previous episode. But unfortunately things go awry when the network executives order that the show get retooled, and the show goes on hiatus, and the very special episode is disposed of, causing much distress and hurt to Cherish. Laura Silverman has a key role in each episode, and she was superb in Dr Katz, Professional Therapist.
