Late Season Ender!
Sylviastel30 May 2009
I don't know why this episode aired so late in the third season. Anyway, the neighborhood has a peeping Tom lurking at the windows of the neighborhood women like Marcy, Mrs. McGinty, Fanny, Lois, and others but not Peggy. She feels terrible about it and needs to be peeped in order to feel good about herself. If not, Al has to comfort her. While the neighborhood women have a plan to torture the peeping Tom, Al needs to get out of this mess especially with Peggy feeling rejected. She leaves milk and cookies for the peeping Tom. When Steve says that Peggy will go back to normal whatever that is when she is peeped, Al has to become the neighborhood peeper.

Absolute classic

Warning: Spoilers
The last part of season 3 gave us some of the most memorable episodes of the show up to that point ("The Dateless Amigo", "The Computer Show", "Life's A Beach"), and in this final season episode the writing hits a peak: one great line follows another at a rapid pace. So instead of boring you with a "review" of the episode, I'll just give it *** out of 4 stars and write down my favorite lines:

  • Peg! Kids! (looking up) Thank you!

  • Yeah, but this time let's finish it!

  • And if you want it (sex) to be good, YOU'll have to leave! (classic)

  • We'll do it twice. That means a full minute, Al!

  • Our 3-hour love fest

  • Did he see your Jimmies?

  • It was horrible (his peeping me) - How was it for you?

  • Do you understand....BBBBud?

  • Peg, why DID we have him?

  • Without sex I might as well live home with my mother!

  • I can't go on having sex without my wife!

  • "28, 29, 30, I'm outta here!"

  • Peep, peep, peep....peeper here

  • Mm, mm, tooth! (spits tooth)

Peep, peep, peep.

There's a peeper on the prowl in the neighbourhood. All the women have been peeped, with the exception of Peggy, which leaves her feeling undesirable. Al does what he has to do: have sex with her. Eventually, he pretends to be the masked pervert to keep his wife happy but is caught and beaten by a mob of angry women led by Marcy.

The plot/script for this episode is kinda average: there's not that many great lines of dialogue to be had, most of the gags being about Al's lack of prowess in bed or Bud 'helping' Kelly with her classes (both of which have been done many times before). But, hey, Christina Applegate looks fine wearing a variety of figure-hugging outfits and one of the 'peepees' is a babe in a tight orange dress (Luann Lee, Playboy's Playmate of the Month January 1987), so it's not all bad.
