Sad Sentai of Space
hellraiser730 November 2018
This is my seventh favorite episode of the show, this film is pretty much an old age super sentai like movie that sadly isn't very super. One of the problems is the Prince of Space is made way too powerful as he literally has no weaknesses whatsoever. The effects are terrible like that giant monster whom looked barely done as the guy is wearing no body costume except what look like leotards and a monster mask that looks like it was only half finished. But worst of all the fight and even shootout chirography is just terrible.

Other than that Mike and the rest are all in fine form, this episode just has some of the best jokes really like some of the comments on the shooting effects and the terrible dubbing and dialog.

Also, on the evil aliens where in some places they made chicken noises since the evil aliens all had beaks for noses and head gear which made them look like walking chickens not kidding. But my favorite part is when the prince escorts the scientist to safety and as doors are closing in all around them there is so much stilted and repetitive dialog, it's great when Mike and the robots say some of it, that just cracked me up.

And of course, the segments between we're funny and wacky, from the beginning when both Crow and Tom playing the game of Bear and Dog and Tom got carried away as Crow is hanging upside down, how the heck they play that game is anyone's guess.

But I really like the sequences when Mike and the Robots were fiddling with the concept of alternate realities and Mike is turned into one of the robots. Mike looks like one of the puppets for Gerry Anderson's "Thunderbirds", it's just funny how both Tom and Crow give Mike grief when he's in that form as they can't take him seriously, comic gold all around in space.
