There's something childish about this whole thing. And it's awesome.

'The Real Deal' features a Hollywood star guest spot, but it's not the name recognition that makes this one so good. Sure, watching Jerry Seinfeld play a super annoyed version of himself is a treat (the guy's a good sport to simply show up and yell at the other actors), but both story lines in this episode are on equal footing. Bill and Lisa accost Seinfeld at a restaurant for a ratings-grab interview , while Matthew, in his infinite wisdom, decides to broadcast (sure, pun intended) to the station that he's a virgin. And then proceeds to introduce the staff to his trophy blonde girlfriend. The rest of the cast wears the same confounded expression on their faces and it never feels fake. You couldn't make something like this up - and yet somebody did.

Guest starring Jerry Seinfeld

Warning: Spoilers
It's a shame News Radio never got the ratings recognition it deserved, but at least mega-stars like Jerry Seinfeld supported the show that could by making a guest appearance as himself.

I am fond of News Radio and it was shocking with Phil Hartman died.
