Silly but enjoyable ..... again
hmoika8 February 2021
This isn't the first episode of the 5th season that I've found to be silly, quite simple.....yet very enjoyable. To a large degree, of course, due to Moore's character at this stage: like a comfortable old jacket, dependable and charming.

But most all of the cast were also charmingly light and frivolous and......well, enjoyable.

Fun escapade

Warning: Spoilers
A fun little escapade with a decent cast. Suzanne Lloyd, the Canadian actress, really stands out in the role of the feisty Italian starlet who ends up getting kidnapped by crims. Leon Greene, of THE DEVIL RIDES OUT fame, and Lois Maxwell - Miss Moneypenny herself - co-star. Tongue definitely in cheek in this one, and Moore's enjoying himself.

Fun episode
coltras3524 August 2021
A temperamental starlet on a film set gets kidnapped, thing is her producer, director, publicist and husband would love her to stay kidnapped, but with million dollars at stake on the new movie they're making, they have to pay the ransom and get her back. Guess who is assigned to do that? Simon Templar.

This is a lighthearted episode, humorous with a spoofy insight of the film world with its temperamental and demanding stars. There's the usual action, but it's the humour that drives this one.
