chock full of filler
movieman_kev17 December 2008
Dina Lo Bianca (Lorin Becker) is out of the assassination game until she gets a call about one last job. The price is right and she's back in the thick of it again in this action movie by Mark Vasconcellos.

This film is filled so heavily with filler material, that it takes 94 minutes for what could've been a 75 minute film. See Becker surf, see Becker lounge around the pool, see Becker shower and bathe. See Becker NOT get nude while doing any of those aforementioned things, what a prick tease. Marginally good camera work, but a half-baked script and mediocre acting make this one a stinker.

My Grade: D

This film is an empty bag of nothing
bo-8517 August 2006
Warning: Spoilers
This film features the talents of an experienced Hollywood actor, Mark Vasconcellos, but the film is an empty bag of nothing. I've watched high school kids with a camcorder turn out better quality product. Some of the most glaring faults of the video are,

Amateur acting, the actresses arrear to be all over the hill strippers who got cast in the film based not on their acting ability but rather the size of their chest. This film first appears to be of the genre populated by hot models that can't act but appear naked in every other scene. This film however has zero nudity.

Zero dramatic pacing, the film is flat from scene to scene. Even the climax where the bad guy is chased down is boring. Billed as an action film but had little actions, most of the scenes were of the lead character, Dina, performing surveillance. She was not believable as a world class assassin.

The obligatory lesbian scene was a total let down where Kay West decided to seduce her tied up victim "at a later time". The script tries to be complex with several surprises but I found myself being disinterested.

Great Movie,.... No not really, it SUCKED
cholula022 August 2006
Warning: Spoilers
This movie was so stupid. I cannot believe any of the positive reviews here as they are all suspect. I have seen cheap low budget movies that manage to actually entertain, This movie is not one of those. The only thing almost good about this movie is the cover of the DVD. I recommend all renters of this movie to just break it in half and pay for the damage that way you can keep some other poor soul from ruining a night. Best scene in the movie is when the ex-assassin chick borrows a surf board and shoots a few baby waves. Her fans on the beach say she is "awesome". Did I mention that this movie sucks. In case I did not mention it I will state again that this movie SUCKS.

The film drags, but Lorin Becker looks GREAT in a bikini
gridoon3 April 2007
"Triple Threat" opens with a busty female assassin lounging by the pool, where she receives a call and accepts one last assignment. This beginning (along with the DVD cover) teases the viewer with the promise of some girls-with-guns action, but, much like many Andy Sidaris movies, this one promises more than it is ready to deliver (the assassin spends most of the movie driving around on her bike and doing high-tech computer stuff). The problem is not the direction: the film has a reasonably professional look, considering its very low budget. The problem is the script: it has WAY too much filler in it, and the film d-r-a-g-s unbelievably. I see no reason why it had to run 94 minutes, it should have been at least 15 minutes shorter. The good news is that the lead, Lorin Becker, is assured, beautiful and likable, and even though some of the excuses Vasconcellos finds to put her in a bikini are absurd, she looks so good in it it's hard to complain, especially if you appreciate full-figured women. It Could have made a great porn movie
Neo1979_0520 August 2006
The film, "Triple Threat" was written, produced and direct to be a porn movie but i guess they changed the plan. The amateur cast steals the movie. Lorin Becker (aka: Dina Lo Bianca) and Stephany Stearns (aka: Valentina Valentino) bring a sexy and funny flair with top rating performances. Really enjoyed the film but again if it was a porn one.Thriple Threat was sexy I found it to be some erotic it was shot tastefully This film features the talents of an experienced Hollywood porn actors I think As I watched this film I hoped it would have some more porn but again they failed to give us that so it came out so bad.Why the hell do they all talk so slow ? And there are just too many holes in the story to count again because it was meant to be a porn movie...

No need to watch this movie!
maria_casillas8622 December 2010
Warning: Spoilers
This movie is not only racist, patronizing, and stereotyping, but its also badly acted, poorly edited, and even worse directed, got no set design whatsoever and wont even get into the audio mixing. Pretty bad movie, still its got a reeling story.

It stereotypes the lesbian character, as the mean, dumber/weaker version of the leading character, the way it was done in movies 15+ years ago. Also makes it seem like all middle-Easterners are Muslims, that they are terrorists, and also stupid for not drinking. The dialogs they use for this last statement are brief and found them out of line. Its like the movie keeps trying to convince that ALL-American people have the right to kill the person who is doing something not OK with their principles taking it on their own hands, not even abiding by the law. AVOID

loved it!

Triple Threat is one of those crazy movies you know nothing about but you find yourself watching. I had no expectations when I turned on the film, but found myself completely hooked instantly. I was reeled in. Thriple Threat was sexy and fun. I found it to be some what erotic but it was shot tastefully so I'm guessing it was just the chemistry or tone of the movie that made it feel that way. The dissolves from scene to scene gave the move a fun flair and a Charlie's Angels feel which kept the movie light and with an underlying feeling of fun. Triple Threat is an action packed flick with enough fun, eroticism and cool scenery shots to make this a movie worth watching! It was fun and I loved it!!

enjoyable film
fcbetis25 May 2006
Thoroughly enjoyable film which was apparently made with a very modest budget. A great cast of actors really cemented this film. I believe the lead actress is new. If so it was a perfect casting as she definitely had the perfect blend of tough yet sexy to pull it off. There are some great quips throughout and tongue in cheek dialogue that I found to really hilarious. The film is obviously an action/drama but does not take itself too serious and it does not insult your intelligence. I thought it had some some really nice camera work for a film of this genre and budget. I am constantly amazed at the talent out there. Directed, produced, written and even acted by Vasconcellos. I look forward to his next effort.

A fun little Indie flick!
vascano1-18 February 2007
So many people in the US r numb when it comes to movies because if it does not have the grandiose special effects or excessive violence, they think a movie is not worthy. Triple Threat is a great little movie that was made on a shoe string budget of $15,000. It looks great, sounds great, the continuity is perfect and the production value is tremendous for the no-low budget. A lot of great locations, which is a very difficult achievement in itself. The only thing wrong with it is that it could use some more action, other than that, it is a valiant effort for an indie filmmaker who probably shot this movie on weekends over the course of a year and maybe i dated the director!

It's Triple Delight - Adventure, Excitement, & Fun !!!
gusito9925 May 2006
The film, "Triple Threat" was written, produced and direct by Marc Vasconcellos. And, Marc even has a part in the film. The story line moves along unfolding gracefully - event after event. This film is action packed and keeps the viewer captive throughout. The amateur cast steals the movie. Lorin Becker (aka: Dina Lo Bianca) and Stephany Stearns (aka: Valentina Valentino) bring a sexy and funny flair with top rating performances. Really enjoyed the film. Mark continues to shares his values regarding friendship as his continues to collaborate with long time friend Vic Hightower and Rich Lang, writer of "Paco's 2 Bean Double Frozen Margarita". Marc produced and acted in "Paco's 2 Bean Double Frozen Margarita". A classic and all time favorite of mine.
