Garfield, Peace and Quiet
Garfield is on no sleep, because Jon Arbuckle forgets to shut off the television one night, and Garfield is left perched on the chair, looking like a zombie. Jon & Odie leave to give Garfield some peace and quiet, and so he can get some much needed shut-eye. A clown with a special birthday wish, unbeknownst to him, visits the wrong house, and thinks it's a 97 year old woman's house. Garfield can't get back to sleep, despite repeated attempts at ridding himself of the clown. Ah, so many childhood memories from this show. Garfield was King when I was a kid, and I would spend hours reading Garfield books, watching his short movies, and of course this T.V show. This show is only about 8 long, approx, but I was glad to learn that I could still garner plenty of entertainment from this show, now that I'm all grown up. I loved the cat and mouse game between Garfield & the clown. Watching Garfield ostensibly outsmart the clown was a hoot. The conclusion to this episode had me in stitches. It's completely OTT and ludicrous, but a hilarious example of circumstance. It's a really fun episode, and I guarantee it'll make you laugh and smile

Note: We get a special quickie of Garfield and The Spider. It's only about a minute long. It basically involves Garfield trying to kill the spider with his window. He ostensibly kills it, but slams the window too hard, and the house literally falls apart, of course The Spider is still alive.
Garfield Goes Hawaiian
Garfield's veterinarian Liz tells Jon that Garfield is stricken with the Hawaiian cat flu. His symptom is that he dances Hawaiian style whenever anything to do with the word "Hawaii" is mentioned. Garfield refuses to take his required medicine, and opportunity presents itself for Garfield to appear on a talent show. This one is extremely silly, but plenty of fun as well. Watching Garfield dance like a droned zombie was hilarious to say the least. You could also tell that the rapport between Jon & Garfield was going to be special. We even get to see a Parrot try and enter the talent show. He does impressions, including Dirty Harry. The tables turn on Garfield at the end. I won't spoil it, but it's pretty damn funny. Not quite as good as Peace and Quiet, but still really entertaining
