Couldn't watch beyond EP 6, "Childhood"

WIthout failing to understand that children's sci-fi differs from normal,

this episode was a deal-breaker for me, the scene where the childrens' accidental risking of the ship from moving cables around, and then subsequent bizzare wax-surfing scene, was it, that's it,.. no more, forget it - he spontaneously decides, when they're needing to stay hidden,.. to draw this military's attention TOWARDS their direction, at the same time as having a plan to distract their fire (that had NOT been in-range and already-firing) by being able to fly around faster after coating surfaces of this military base first with board-wax, even though, they're FLYING, not rolling, sliding, whatever, and their WEIGHT would be upon the wax/surface.

Oh, right. Lead me to your light.

So i can snuff it out by the time i realize how much it never protected me.

No thanks production-crew / editors / producers,.. w.t.f.

Someone in the writing crew, owns an antique candelabra?

What's the reason, writers/editors. Explanation please.

A friend-family dynamic like when we were teens on mmorpgs

The kids mess with Renton, Renton finds out why (which I'm going to leave out so there's no spoiler.) The kids accidentally shut down the ships camouflage, Renton saves the day. Eureka be's a teen mom some more. We're still not told where the heck these kids came from or why they're aboard the crew. Are they the adult crew members children and the adults just aren't telling Renton that? Are they rescued orphans? Are both they and Eureka going to turn out to be robots? We may never know.
