The Idiot Box is the best of Spongebob
caesarmoridon10 February 2007
Warning: Spoilers
Though the Nasty Patty is a great episode the best Spongebob episode is by far the Idiot Box. In this incredibly intelligent and thoughtful episode we see writing that can only be compared to that of the greats like Shakespeare, Virgil, Dante, Dostoyevsky and Homer. In this episode we see the finest acting and directing too. Bill Faberbakke is comparable to Anthony Hopkins as Hannibal Lecture or De Niro in Cab driver. This edgy performance and dramatic voicing draws you in like a fish is drawn to water. When he is under the attack of the Avalanche you feel as you are there and if you close your eyes you can feel your legs go numb. And Tom Kenny makes you feel the pain of his lost limbs. Of course the strong performance of Spongebob's foil Squidward Tentacles by Roger Bumpass is only describable as phenomenal. Truly this is the closest we have come to a legendary classic and gripping thriller since, dare I say Citizen Kane. I do not want to reveal anymore as to destroy the marvelous experience you are bound to have when you see this unparalleled masterpiece. Bravo, Bravo, Bravissimo!

Great, iconic episodes

Warning: Spoilers
This is by far my favorite episode of the entire show. Let me explain.

NASTY PATTY: This is the lesser of the two to many people, however this is my personal favorite. The humor and jokes in this episode are pretty freaking great and its really funny to see a regularly kids cartoon have a episode about killing a health inspector and trying to bury his body. This episode is definitely my style of comedy, if done correctly, as shown in this episode.

IDIOT BOX: Another great episode. This has by far some of the greatest jokes and quotes you will ever get in a SpongeBob episode. SpongeBob and Patrick are really funny here and Squidward just shines through in this episode, definitely the star of this episode. It shows anything can become good, just with a little help of your imagination.

It really goes to show that these first three seasons were among the funniest seasons of a show ever. It really makes you wonder how this show went down the tubes in the later seasons. If you haven't seen these seasons, I highly suggest you watch at least this episode, because man oh man, its a ride from start to finish.

0 moral values. Stupid humor. No intelligent person would want their kids watching this ridiculousness.

Japanese anime is WAY better than most American shows!

These american shows such as the Simpsons and Spongebob are useless crap! Anime is better because of their creative ideas, how women are the protagonist dynamic heroines while spongebob is a unfunny piece of crap for a abiotic sponge
