This is one hilarious and exciting episode of the Mask that I'd watch again and again. There are many interesting references in this episode to the world of British musicals, particularly Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber and the Phantom of the Opera. The name of the Mad Monkey Musical's director, Sir Andrew Bedwetter is a hilarious take on Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber. And we find the mask, dressed like a phantom with the mask, ruining the first Mad Monkey Musical show just like the phantom did in the Phantom of the Opera. It's all very ingenious!
