I just started watching the first season. I started watching it out of boredom because I couldn't think of anything else to watch. The only episodes I really haven't liked for the ones were the Brides who are trying on gowns that look like lingerie. You know, the ones where their breasts are practically falling out of the front and they've got so many see-through panels in the dress that she can't wear underwear not even a thong.

Not for me
tomfsloan28 April 2019
Personally, this show is not for me, by far. But my daughter likes it. So instead of me giving it a 1, I gave it a 6. Women in the bride-state-of-mind would enjoy this show, but speaking for this male half of the species, the show makes me ill. On the plus side, there are worse shows.

I love Randy ! A comment on ' A Surprising Turn of Events ' - spoiler
gemmgra-278176 June 2015
Randy is fantastic. He understands his brides and is genuinely passionate about putting them in the right dress that will make their wedding day special. It must be frustrating when you get a bride in the store who has no intention of buying a dress and just wants to visit Kleinfield's because it's the place to go. I watched the episode ' A Surprising Turn of Events' and I knew the bride Victoria was just such a bride. She said she has been to 24 stores and I think that the sales lady knew she right off the bat that she would not be purchasing a dress. Thank heavens she only tried on a few dresses and then it was suggested she leave and think about it. Of course you knew she would not come back. It's such a waste of time when they take away the time that the sales people could spend with other brides who are genuine buyers.

USED to be an amazing show
tiffanywesterlund24 August 2019
The show USED to be a feel good show with beautiful dresses. This 2019 season is all drama and the dresses are terrible. The dresses on the manikins are way prettier than the dresses the brides try on. Also, the brides in the background have prettier dress on then the bride that is the main focus of the show.

2022 and 2023 are FLAT

Say Yes To the Dress used to be fun to watch... The heart has gone out of it! I tried Say Yes To the Dress: Dubai and they have the same dresses as NY. There is no fun, anymore. It is quiet, snobby, princess crappy. What happened to the variety. Only very few designers are shown and then only a few dresses are shown - both in NY and Dubai. Has this show become an enterprise? I hope not! It is stupid now. Why is Randy doing everything? Does he own the NY Kleinfeld's now? Oh, no! This is terrible! A piece of advice for the show...BRING THE HEART BACK meaning the PEOPLE WHO MADE THE PLACE ALIVE! Where did they go?

So annoying women walk into a store
ThunderKing630 September 2021
This show is annoying.

All it's about is women shopping for a dress that they will wear once.

If you have a mother or a wife, we already know how it is to shop with them. It's basically the same, but the bride is with her female friends, grandmother, mother and her gay friend. So it's much worse.

Boring waste of time and resources.

Last Words: Say NO to this show.

Say yes to the dress review
maddiebuggie26 June 2020
I love this show. My love for say yes to the dress shows and wedding shows in general all started with this show. There lots of family with drama when it comes to the dresses. There pretty wedding dresses and ugly ones of course. The sell people are really good and helping the people find there dress and making the sells they need. This is a really good show. I highly recommend this show to everyone even if they there not wedding shows.

Love this show
misswhit-720757 July 2017
This show is great. It shows brides of all shapes and sizes. It shows the real struggle everyday brides have when searching for a dress. I've been watching the show since it first aired. It educates brides so they are not lost when they decide to go dress shopping. It helped me in selecting my dress. LOVE THIS SHOW AND LOVE RANDY!!

nice

For a man, it is strange to define this show. It is a galery of bride portraits. Amusing, dramatic, bizarre, In same measure, can be fascinating to discover the dreams of women becoming true. And, sure, it is a show about image, family and self definition. Nice. And, in few moments, fascinating.

Randy

I enjoy watching this show. If gives the viewer a chance to see the dresses on live bodies instead of just in pictures. This show is educational because it allows the viewer to see how dresses appear on different body shapes and heights. It also informs the viewer who to bring and who not to bring when searching for a wedding gown. It amazes me how so many people live thru the experience of the bride. Often injected their preference in the gown selection instead of looking at the view of the bride to be. This show also allows us to view the wedding gown search from the perspective of the consultant. There are some consultants who are clearly just going thru the motions. In my opinion. A good consultant looks at the bride and select dresses she thinks the bride to be may be interested in. Afterall, the consultant knows the inventory.

This show would benefit greatly by removing Randy from the program. His presence has no value at all. He is intrusive and a distraction. This show would rate a 10+ without him or keeping him very far in the background.

I love this show....but
cajungenes-787-96132421 November 2019
I have always loved this show. I have watched it for years. Randy is terrific, sweet, professional and very knowledgeable.

The new guy Shae, I do not care for. I actually find it a little offensive. A youngish guy, in the dressing room with nearly naked women. I don''t know what they were thinking, but I want them to return to all women dressers.
