We have seen many such movies in the past. Good ones include Kaadal (Tamil) in 2004, Sairat (Marathi) in 2016, and recently Uppena (Telugu) with caste system. I am sure there are a ton others in the same genre. The primary difference here is that this one is an atrocious movie with poor script, bad screenplay, and casting is terrible except for Saikumar. Acting almost fails in all aspects. The Director's only point is caste bias calls for unnecessary blood bath and loss of innocent lives. Aren't audience tired of this already ? What additional enlightenment is he providing ? Another OTT junk.

I don't know, what they want to show, why they are killing each other. Confused dialogues by sublekha sudhakar.

First 20 minutes director wasted in narrating a childhood love failure story, and the next 20 minutes shows another failure attempt in a way roja flower crap story, and then director lost his touch with the script and showed an unnecessary song to fool the audience with false love, and then whole village fighting with each other, another failed script. Please stay away from this movie guys, save some time and watch jabardast!

The synopsis for Ardha Shathabdham, on Aha, says, "After five decades of Independence, India's rural landscape still throws up unanswerable questions. Can a love story bring a revolution? Witness this earthy love story set in the early 2000s." Well, that sounds like a thick plot concerning love and mayhem, right? Maybe, your heart tells you that you're going to dive into a swirling romantic drama. Or maybe your mind takes the reins and declares that the scales are going to tip heavily in favor of violence.

Coming from a Telangana and from a village background, I can confidently say such I never saw such a communal discrimination and violence in the villages, irrespective of high or low caste everyone enjoys the amicable relations in villages of Telangana ( I am from Karimnagar & Siricilla part of it ) call each other with kaka, mama, babai, atha, alludu, thatha...this movie portrayed the village environment in a complete falsified way...

If anyone wants to make such false movies, must use false names of places.

I tarnished and impeded the image of Sircilla's image as they used its name.

Such movies create disturbances within the communities whether they are intentionally / unintentionally made.

Anyone who wants to watch a good/ average movie STAY AWAY from this.

Lastly, the dialogue dialect neither completely of Karimnagar nor of Andhra this shows how much alien the story writer to the real affairs of the place.
