Why set literally of the challenges for the blazing heat when they all require cool temps? They do this at least once a season and it always annoys me.

Much like last week I wasn't too struck on the theme, but there were some impressive bakes produced.
I didn't agree with the person knocked out at all. The logic behind it seemed to be that even though another contestants looked bad it tasted good, which is odd to me.
For me the winner stands out a mile.

Jeanette Goulbourn is the director of 1980s Week and all credit should be given to the production crew in their efforts to get each episode to air, especially this episode where the presenters, judges, and contestants were working under sweltering heat init. Anyway, here we have 1980s Week and it's lots of fun with ice-cream cake, quiche and so on. I like Lottie Bedlow's mixed tape cake, which Paul Hollywood called underwhelming. Anyway, I'd love for the Great British Bake Off to have a cockney week where the contestants work on East End dishes, and Danny Dyer can make a guest appearance init.
