Uncharted 2 Among Thieves: Another masterpiece
Platypuschow17 July 2018
When Uncharted was first released back in 2007 it initially came under fire as a Tomb Raider clone. Critics said based on the trailers that it looked like Lara Croft had a sex change and that it would lack originality.

When the game was actually released however the critics were silenced and the title was critically acclaimed.

A sequel was inevitable and unsurprisingly was met with positivity once again, but why?

Uncharted can be compared to Tomb Raider, they are hugely similiar titles but in this guys opinion Uncharted has far better plots.

Uncharted 2 see's Nathan Drake and familiar faces travel the world in search of Marco Polo' lost fleet. Once again the game is enormous in size, wonderfully written, full of likeable characters, decent puzzles and a wealth of originality.

Ontop of this is flawless voice acting led by Nolan North and the husky goddess Claudia Black.

Uncharted 2 delivers as successfully as the first game and as a whole is near flawless. A fantastic addition to a franchise that is nothing short of phenomenal.

The Good:

Incredible score

Very good voice acting

Perfectly crafted level design

The Bad:

Couple of frustrating moments

Things I Learnt From This Game:

Claudia Black could tell me I have cancer in my butt and I'd still melt

A must-have for every PS3 owner..
Brimst119 October 2009
Uncharted 2 has easily been this years most anticipated title for the PS3. Not only because of the mind-blowing presentation Naughty Dog gave the gaming-press during the E3 event, but also because of the games' predecessor with which, despite having it's share of mistakes, they've set a pretty high standard for themselves.

Well, Uncharted 2 blows that standard completely to pieces. The formula used in part 1 has been tweaked & perfected in every aspect of the game-play, characters, plot, visuals, voice-acting, humor and the list just goes on. They have listened to the criticism concerning mistakes made in the first Uncharted & corrected them where needed. (For one, the exploring/platforming/puzzling & gun-play parts are well balanced now.) From the gorgeous, epic graphics & score to the smallest audio & story details, you can just sense the love they've put into making this game..which is not just a game anymore, really. It's more of an interactive movie, and one that can easily compete with a triple-A, Hollywood production; a bit predictable and maybe a little cheesy at times, but pumped full of action. Add to this an addictive online multiplayer and co-op system, and you've got yourself a winner.

The story is about the charismatic treasure hunter, Nathan Drake, whom gets sucked into yet another epic, thrilling quest. This time he sets out to find the lost ships of Marco Polo, after being recruited for a job by an old friend. His quest will take Drake all over the globe, from the wet, suffocating jungles of Borneo, to the icy Himalayan Mountains around Tibet. So you can expect more jaw-dropping views, eerie ancient temple sites, inventive Indiana Jones-style puzzles, bone-dry and cynical humor from the protagonist & some very fun gun-play. I doubt veterans of part 1 need any further details, and as for the rest of you..well, you'll just have to believe me when I say I really can't give away too much about the plot. Trust me, I'm doing you a favor. And just in case you're wondering, you don't necessarily have to play Drake's Fortune before playing Among Thieves, although I highly recommend it.

So, the conclusion is pretty simple and straight-forward; If you are a PS3 owner, go and buy this game today!

Amazing Game

I had to give this game a 10. I really enjoyed this game, even more than I enjoyed Uncharted: Drake's Fortune. The nice thing about the new game is that the graphics and cut-scenes are to die for. Also, there is an auto target option which eases your misery of targeting enemies. If you are a fan of adventure and thriller games, this is definitely the game for you. All new characters that will make the story even more interesting and also, the music used is amazing.

Uncharted has done it again, by far, the best PS3 game released in 2009. I am sure it will be very difficult to build a better game, that's why I gave this game a 10 as I cannot even find one negative thing about it.

Excellent job Naughty Dog, you did it again!

Incredible

For those of you who have a PS3 at home---Uncharted II: Among Thieves is the Action/Adventure game of a lifetime.

The writing is far superior to any game ever made. The story is as rich as a movie and the characterization is more developed than you could ever imagine in a game. The main character is witty and likable---with a touch of smart ass intertwined. The supporting characters are well acted. Claudia Black, of Farscape fame, is tremendous as Chloe and Emily Rose is excellent as Elena. You actually see the character interventions develop their relationship --- something you don't even see in movies nowadays.

The action is superb. Though you have to laugh that someone hired hundreds upon hundreds of thugs to stop one man.

There are a few tight spots that frustrated me in the game, but the overall experience was excellent. A game that once you are done you feel good about it.

Of course it is only on the PS3 and it will be the best Action game of all time---I feel sorry for those who do not have a PS3 to experience it---but if you have a friend who has one, see if he/she will let you come over and experience one of the best console games of this generation.

Uncharted II:Among Thieves----10/10 stars---awesome If this is made into a movie, the voice actors look the part and would be the best choices for the roles.

The game that restored the confidence of PS3.
honorhorror21 December 2009
Uncharted 2 Among Thieves may well be the best PS3 game to date, although such a compliment will raise the skepticism of both XBOX fans and some MGS fans in your living room.

I have to admit that included me, a MGS fan who considered MGS4 the end of my gaming career. However, some articles also placed Uncharted 2 as "the first video game ever to make a block-buster achievement". That was an exaggeration for sure. I can name several games which contain good involving stories, kicking-ass presentations and terrific visual effects that made a bundle of production values and blockbuster qualities. MGS series, Escape form Butcher Bay, GTA4, etc. Besides, I can find some underdeveloped parts and potentials as well, like the organic combination of platforming and gunfights can be better, blah blah blah.

That's all the negative side. Now, we can talk about the good side of the game. First off, Uncharted 2 might be the first "Jaw-dropping" visual experience I've had in playing a video game. All the visual-excellent games were prematurely over-hyped and got your eyes saturated, therefore the actual experiences were not so shocking. However, still images or one or two typical scenarios don't do Uncharted 2 justice, you'd have to play it through yourself to get this one-of-a-kind experience. It's a proof that graphics alone can make a difference in a game and make a game shine.

That's not saying the other parts of Uncharted 2 are not good. The actions and platforming are also really engaging, if not a little too adrenaline-bumping. And the story is also well thought-out with a loads of fun. The characters-centered presentation never gets old, just like the distinctive personalities of Nathan Drake, Elena and Chloe. After all, they don't want to get too serious.

I guess IGN and Gamespot both gave GTA4 and MGS4 a perfect 10 for these games' depth and game-play. Now they both gave Uncharted 2 a 9.5. In my opinion, it's not essentially for game-play, but for the core value of it--jaws-dropping graphics and presentation that could keep you coming back.

10/10. The most satisfying gaming experience I had in a while. P.S. I am also a movie fan.

The best game of the year and one of the best ever!
Snake_Yes6 March 2010
Having played the first Uncharted and enjoying it very much, I was very excited to hear that there was to be a sequel.

After waiting several months for Uncharted 2 to be released I finally bought it. That's right. I went straight out and bought it. I didn't play it safe by renting it first. I knew it was going to be a great game. Hell was I right.

The graphics are the best in a game I have ever seen. There was nothing that I thought was lazily made and designed. It all looked stunning. From the water flooding out of a destroyed laundromat,to the trees gently blowing in the wind, to the birds flying in the sky, to the snow, to the building textures...Uhh its all amazing! Oh and of course the characters.

The characters are the most believable and likable I have ever seen in a game (except of course maybe Metal Gear Solid. But even while playing this game, I began to doubt the greatness of the MGS series). Each character has their own personality and characteristic that makes them ...A PERSON! You really feel for the characters and enjoy them on screen, oh I mean in-game.

The story is engaging and entertaining with thrills, suspense, romance and comedy. There are moments in the game that I actually laugh out loud to because the voice actors deliver their lines so brilliantly.

The gameplay is superb. From shooting over the shoulder, to beating up mercenaries with your fists, to traversing along ledges and cliffs, to leaping from carriage to carriage onboard a train. Okay, there were some moments that were a bit difficult due to game design, but hey, who cares? This game is outstanding.

I could write more, but I can't be bothered, I want to go and play this game again! I highly recommend Uncharted 2 to any PS3 owner. It is a must have.

Instant classic, Ps3 essential!!
Critics-R-us8 December 2009
-Title: Uncharted 2. -Rating: 16/RP. -Director: Amy Henning.

A Summary:

Uncharted 2 is a perfect mix of action, puzzles, funny moments, and multiplayer, You play as Nathan Drake, Who is basically the personality and sense of humour of John mcClane (Die Hard), The Charm of Indiana Jones, The gun-slinging-ness of James Bond, and The Climbing talents of Lara Croft (Tomb Raider), Faith (Mirror's Edge), Ezio Auditiore (Assasin's Creed 2), and Altiar (Assasin's Creed) rolled into one.

Characters:

This game has LOADS of characters, some old, some new, and all brilliant, the voice acting is spot on, and you will never find friendlies running into your line of fire.

Animation/Graphics:

An awesome frame rate, excellently smooth 720p graphics, and Bright colours, along with the same wet engine (your clothes get saturated when you decide to take a swim) and with a new snow engine,(you get coated in snow, then it melts, and then your wet)

Plus, all environments are colourful and interactive.

Handy things/fun gizmos:

There is a machinima mode that lets you create films with the characters (check out "Drakes Ps3" on YOUtube for a brilliant example)

There is Lip-syncing, meaning what you say moves the character's mouth.

26 story-mode levels, (26!!) and loads of maps online.

Many varied online modes, Eg: Plunder (C.T.F with a small, heavy golden statue)

There are also co-op modes, but, instead of playing the story mode, you play in segments.

There is a costume select in the online mode, from Jeff to Skeletons and everything in between!

There is even an Uncharted 2 Twitter account built INTO THE GAME that lets you post your progress through the game.

Critisisms: Very few, I found that online, many times you can be shooting at an enemy, yet they never seem to die, there is a martyrdom-esquire perk called Revenge, (I think thats what its called) The characters online, and in the single-player costume select, don't get wet. This happened to me once, I was demoted because I quit an online match early, going from rank 7, back to rank 1, thats quite a harsh punishment, for such a small accident.

Overall:

I loved this game, and I've gotten over some of the criticisms, and the game has a lot of replay value, so, if you'll excuse me, I'm getting ready for my 5th playthrough of Uncharted 2: AMONG Thieves, on crushing. I give Uncharted 2 a well-deserved 10/10

Nathan Drake is Indiana Jones
luke511930 January 2010
This game is great to say the least and is a awesome modern day adaption of the infamous Indiana Jones film; for a game of course. Granted some call it a rip off of the Indy series, I call it picking up where Indy left off. Nolan North does a great job voicing the character Nathan Drake and his dialogue is superb; very realistic. I've read reports of a film adaption for the first game. Personally I'd love to see Nolan North play Nathan Drake in the movie. If the fans reviews of the Drake series are any consolation, the film will be a hit. I think a BIG part of the Drake Series success is highly in part do to the fact SCEA is the maker of the games. Sony Computer Entertaimnet America or SCEA, the creators of the Playstion 3 system essentially, know how to make PS3 games better than anyone pretty much. Why's that you ask? They know how to build a game to it's strengths. Working with what they know the system is capable of and making sure the layout of the buttons is easy to get used to. This is grade A gaming in my eyes. Action, Adventure, Great Story Line, and some humor mixed in to boot. This series is great and is only getting better.

10/10 -- A LEGITMATE MASTERPIECE!
Analog_Devotee2 August 2021
Simply put, this game was a stone-cold console seller. Many who only owned Xbox 360s were biting the bullet and purchasing a PS3 to play this game. The hype was real, and it not only managed to exceed it, it KNOCKED IT OUT OF THE PARK!

The first game was great, and very innovative for its time. A mere two years later, Naughty Dog would take all the phenomenally engaging aspects and turn them up to eleven. Seriously, there isn't a dull moment in this game. It's expertly crafted to contain the perfect amounts of action, exploration, character development and story.

There are very few games that I'm willing to give 10s to -- and this is one of them! Aside from the first Red Dead Redemption, I've replayed this more than any other game!

MASTERPIECE!

10/10!

What a rollercoaster of a game.
jebyvyson1 October 2019
This game have you at the edge of your seat every time you encounter something. The game does its own things but you are in for a ride. It one of the best experience game on the PS3, which leave the players wanting more. I can see why this is everyone's favorite Uncharted game and I think in some ways, it's better than Uncharted 4: A Thief's End. The story is pretty simple but very well executed, the characters are very memorable and amazing, the gameplay was top notch and got better since the first game, and the graphics still looks great to this day. No wondered why this game was Game of the Year of 2009.

not what i expected
lesterarnoldpinto5 December 2009
There has wwaaaaayyyy tooo much hype for this game. the game was OKAY but it wasn't holy crap amazing. the way they showed it on the trailers and the reviews made the game look like it was gonna rock and make it look like it was an awesome 3rd person shooter and have plenty of acrobatics. But once i played it, i realized that that's all it was. a 3rd person shooter with acrobatics. the graphics are VERY well done, and story was good. the story would have been awesome if the trailers and commercials didn't talk so much about it and give away half of the story. The one think that i thought the game lacked was originality. even though it was good and all, and i know naughty dog was going for a cinematic feeling, i still wish the game had done something to make it feel unique. other game out there like gears of war, have chainsaw, and god of war has the magics and blades of chaos,...but all the weapons in uncharted 2 are the same weapons from any other shooter. so overall it was a good game, but personally i wouldn't pay 49.99 dollars for....i also felt the game got over too quick. i finished it in around 8 and a half hours. if you're the type of person that looks for originality in a game, then i don't recommend you buy this game. i would recommend you rent it.

Felt generic to me. I guess the over hypeness made me have high expectations.

I played it and could only last 2 hours and I didn't return. The games graphic wise is beautiful and detailed. Its gameplay just wasn't for me.

Verdict: Generic at best.

UNCHARTED 2 REVIEW

I've never played the first uncharted so i didn't know what to expect when i first played this one. Word has it that it basically was just a combination of gears of war and Indiana Jones all in one. It's so much better than both. The story stars Nathan Drake a fortune hunter who's been out of work for a while until a friend, Harry Flynn, offers him up a job to help him out on an expedition to find Marco Polo's trail to shambalaa. Eventually Nate has been double crossed and what follows is one of the most amazing, intense, and thrilling story to be told in a video game.

Gameplay consists of 4 things duck and cover gun-play, stealth, puzzle solving and parkour style navigation through environments (my personal favorite) I was just amazed on how much variety there was in the game play department and was just unprepared for it so much. The set-pieces are top notch and every single one of them feels like it's been ripped out of a summer blockbuster flick. There is a scene in the game where you are in a building trying to fight off a chopper along with soldiers pouring in until suddenly the chopper fires missiles at the building causing it to collapse and as it is being collapsed you are still trying to fight off soldiers until finally you are to take a leap of faith and BAM you are in the next step through the thick of the battle. Now keep in mind this is all happening in real time and it's not a cut-scene.

The characters in the game are developed pretty well and the voice acting is some of the best i've heard in a video game in a long time and really helps develop the story greatly when it comes to cut-scenes. This is actually one of the video games that i wouldn't mind to sit back and watch the cut-scenes it feels like you're watching a live action movie almost. I was completely hooked into it

FINAL VERDICT--9.5 out of 10

I would've given it a perfect 10 but there are a few flaws like some textures popping in but as i was playing through it all that was the only flaw i found in the game but it hardly ever happens. All in all this was one of the best games I've ever played in my life so far. definitely on my top 5 and If you have a ps3 you'd be crazy if you choose to skip this amazing title.

It's like they read my review of the first game and addressed my complaints.
Aaron137511 February 2010
I enjoyed the first game, but gave it a score of eight. This one though gets a ten as almost all my complaints from the first game have been erased and the only complaints I have about this one are way to minor to make me lower the score as the plot in this one was simply to excellent to be marred by a few control issues I had at times. Basically, I will address my main complaint right off the bat, at times the character of Nathan was kind of jerky in his controls, nothing major, but in certain areas it was noticeable. The plot has Nathan in a rather bad predicament right off the bat and through flashbacks we see how the hero ended up in this rather bad mess. He apparently joined an old friend and an old lover on a quest to go after a long lost treasure of Marco Polo. Well he gets double crossed by this friend and ends up in prison where he is bailed out by his old friend from the first game Sullie. Well he decides to go after the treasure as the old lover is also there and she and Sullie convince him to go after the treasure being hunted by a notorious man named Lazorivich (pretty sure I spelled that wrong). Well the game goes here and there as Nate must maneuver through a war torn city, have a very cool train fight scene, and end up in the mountains in search of treasure. At times I was thinking "why the heck can't they make movies this good?" Nathan is also a very funny and great video game character and it was nice to see a couple of familiar faces back from the previous game. The humor is so good to, if you jump into a pool on a rooftop Nate and Chloe (the former lover) have a very humorous exchange. As for the game play it has some exploring type stuff such as one would expect in a Tomb Raider game and it has a lot of shoot em ups. However, this one also added some really fun stealth fighting too as I really enjoyed say pushing a soldier from behind off a cliff. So a great game and sequel and better than most movies you will see these days.

soufian-lmarfa18 March 2014
i never played the original uncharted. so when i played uncharted 2 i didn't know what to expect and i was blown away by this MASTERPIECE and these are reasons why uncharted 2 is my favorite game GRAPHICS: back in 2009 i have never seen anything like it before it's just gorgeous no more words. and i believe that it still hold up fairly well. GAMEPLAY: uncharted 2 is a special game because of it's multiple game play styles you have cover based shooting, platforming, hand to hand combat, puzzle solving, stealth and they are all done really well. STORY: i honestly don't care about stories in video games but uncharted 2 story kept me waiting too see what's gonna happen next and most games don't do that for me and the voice acting is incredible. SET PIECES: OMFG is what sums uncharted 2 unbelievably epic moments i wont spoil anything but man they blew me away so there you have it uncharted is my favorite game of all time for these reasons.

Tree of Life
85122224 October 2016
Greetings from Lithuania.

"Uncharted 2: Among Thieves" (2009) is incredible adventure from the opening sequence till the very last frame. The game is amazing. I haven't played upon it's release back in 2009 and i just picked this up now in 2016 along with "Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection". Whether you played one of the parts or not, "Among Thieves" is one of the kind.

Plot itself is amazing. It is pure adventure, pure entertainment. Writing is smart and kinda plausible. Action set pieces are amazing as well as acting, voice performances and ... everything. This game was a huge, huge step up from the first game, which i also enjoyed, but this one expands in every possible way. I still do think that maybe as for an adventure game it is a bit more to focused on shooting, especially by the end, when you literally has to shoot your way out. But when mechanics are this good and game play is so polished, it is just a joy to do it.

Overall, if you still haven't play this terrific adventure yet, grab "The Nathan Drake Collection" and do it. It is one of the kind roller-coaster. Amazing VG.

One of the best PS3 games
CuriosityKilledShawn1 February 2010
I enjoyed the original Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, but it lacked the certain spark necessary to make it an instant classic. This sequel takes everything that was great about the first game and enhances it tenfold. The graphics, sound design, gameplay and voice acting are all near-perfect. It's just a shame that there's not much replay value to the game as it's rather easy to finish.

The adventure this time focuses on Marco Polo's mysterious voyages in the 13th century and the Tree of Life. Nathan Drake's quest is to stop a Russian warlord from exploiting the tree for his own devious means. The game takes us from Turkey to Borneo to Tibet across a wide variety of levels including museums, jungles, war-torn cities, a mile-long train, the same train dangling from the edge of a cliff, and snow-covered mountains. You'll pick up loads of different weapons along the way and you'll never really run low on ammo so feel free to be as trigger-happy as you like. I do wish that it could have been gorier though. However, creeping up on a bad guy and shoving him off a cliff while watching him plummet into oblivion is very enjoyable.

On a second go you'll find it easy to unlock more than half of the trophies available, and playing it a second time is worth it for this alone. But beyond this I am sorry to say that Uncharted 2: Among Thieves has little to offer aside from an online multi-player mode, which I am not interested in.

I still highly recommend the game and it's an essential purchase for any PS3 owner, whether you liked the first game or not.

Uncharted 2: Among Thieves - The Spectacular Adventure Continues
jamiemannell22 August 2018
Among Thieves continues the swashbuckling adventure of Nathan Drake and company in beautiful style.

Gameplay-wise, Among Thieves builds on Drake's Fortune's groundwork. The climbing and jumping is fine-tuned very well to be seemless. New fighting techniques also improve what was already very, very good. The story is also gripping, just like Drake's Fortune. It's a fantastically woven story, with twists when the story calls upon it that keep players on their toes. Newcomer Chloe is a great character. Her confidence and sheer power in battle, along with her witty demeanour makes her a great addition to the story - who'd later become even more important. Harry is a greatly cocky and a great love-to-hate character. While Sully doesn't have as a bigger role in the game, his appearance in the start is very welcome and does have a few funny moments, his interactions with Nate, Elena and Chloe are all fantastic. Elena is, as always, amazing. She's more battle-hardened now, but that doesn't stop her witty and endearingly great character.

Not much to say for negatives. An argument could be made Lazarevic is a fairly formulaic villain. He's somewhat a typical villain - big bad guy, looking for a power to dominate the world. However, more of the villain is the journey and challenge in finding Shambhala.

In conclusion, Among Thieves is another spectacular Uncharted game. From epic set-pieces (the hotel and train sequences... just wow!), great performances, a terrific story, a splendid score and beautiful locales it's a must-play!

In many ways superior to the first game, but in some ways it's worse
dfle318 March 2011
Console:

Playstation 3

Genre:

3rd person action/adventure.

Setting:

Around the world, where treasures and artefacts can be found.

Story:

Seeking artefacts for mysterious, rich people and having to form alliances to achieve this. There are crosses, double crosses and weird things to see. The story is told in a very arty, cinematic way...the narrative is chopped up and that makes the overall story even more intriguing. E.g. You start the game injured in a train, which you have to make your way out before it is destroyed. Through flashbacks and gameplay in those flashbacks, you wonder what on Earth happened to your character (Nathan Drake) to see him near death and abandoned at the start of the game.

Graphics:

Whilst the first game's graphics were pretty good, Uncharted 2 just looks so much more sumptuous, especially during the cinematic cut scenes. In other games you can see spots of white around characters' mouths, but in this game this seemingly tricky part of anatomy to represent comes off as realistic. Lots of different kinds of terrain is represented well...snowy ground, water, fire, jungle etc. Brilliant quality.

Strengths of the game:

* Brilliant character animation and voice acting by the cast...it comes across as a big budget Hollywood movie.

* Improved combat mechanics...it's a bit like Metal Gear Solid 3's combat mechanics...not as sophisticated as that, but an improvement over the mechanics of the first game nonetheless.

* Variety in game play...driving sections, leaping from moving cars sections etc.

Weaknesses of the game:

* You get some novel enemies in this game...the first time you fight those blue people you really are left to flounder, clueless, as to how to defeat them. Some sort of damage guage/health bar on them to clue you into what works against them would have been appreciated.

* Some ridiculous 'boss' battles...the end of the game has progressively harder enemies to defeat...but quite a way before then I got the imression that a soldier you had to fight on the train section was a 'boss' of sorts...just an odd section there, and ridiculously hard to defeat 'boss'...it really didn't make any sense for that character to be as hard to defeat as he was.

* The grinding final fight of the game. The most annoying aspect to this game was the inability to save progress in your fight against your final opponent. There are a few 'set pieces' in that fight, which you notice when you continually die and have to hear/see them again when you replay that section. Assuming that there were 3 such set pieces marking progress made in the fight, it was supremely annoying that instead of resuming your fight on the same set piece in which you died, you had to start again from a previous section of the fight. I honestly felt like rage quitting this game when I couldn't win this final fight...felt that the game was cheating me. Somehow, the next day, I got a good run (it seemed to me) and managed to defeat the final boss. It's this randomness which also supremely annoyed me...the feeling that on most replays you get something excessively hard, and on a random replay you get it easy. I like predictability.

Niggles:

* As with the first game, you can still find yourself leaping to your death with the rather strict jumping feature.

General thoughts:

I played this game on "Normal" difficulty. For most of this game, this setting seemed easier than on the "Easy" setting on the first Uncharted game. Towards the end of the game it started getting very difficult all of a sudden. Whereas I scored the first Uncharted game as 7.5/10 due to finding replaying that game on "Normal" as "Do-able", with the sequel I just don't really have that desire...defeating the blue men and the final boss in the game just seemed overly difficult (due to the lack of cues as to how effective your attacks were) and the randomness of eventually defeating them just seemed to mark this game as grinding and not fun. For some players having to escape the train twice in the game (although it was just the one escape) might seem too self-indulgent on the part of the game's makers...you think to yourself "But I've ALREADY done that! Why do I have to do it AGAIN?".

All in all the many improvements in graphics and story telling do not overcome the all of a sudden difficulty of the final sections of the game, which are reduced to a very annoying, frustrating, rage inducing grind.

Warning: Spoilers
I completed this game in 1 Night and I thoroughly enjoyed every chapter. All characters are well written and have a good sense of humor, the combat is very simple but also very enjoyable, the boss battles are mostly good and the only complaint I have is how long it takes to figure out how to defeat the Guardians at the very end of the game. It was the most frustrating bit and the Final Boss fight could have been a bit longer and more difficult. The Guardians are much harder to defeat rather than the final boss, who's back story is revealed in the game and a lot of characters talk about how powerful he was. It only took me 1 try and about 12 minutes to actually kill him. Overall the feeling of victory after every chapter on higher difficulties is always rewarding and a lot of love and effort was put into this game. Would definetly recommend playing the full Uncharted series from 1-4 because all parts are fun and very good
