The search for the next 007 might be nearing its end, and to fans’ dismay, Henry Cavill might not be the one to fill Daniel Craig’s shoes in the next iteration of the British Spy. Per new reports, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, who was previously rumored to be one of the frontrunners alongside Cavill, has been offered to take over the mantle for the next James Bond film.
While not everyone is enthralled by this report, as many felt Cavill was the superior option for the role, the Kick-Ass Star’s performance in the 2022 action thriller proves why he is perfect for Bond.

Mark Wahlberg is an incredible actor with an impressive filmography under his belt. Having starred in many shows and movies, the actor made a name for himself in different genres – be it action, comedy, or drama. But if there is one thing missing from his folio, its superheroes. While Wahlberg had been approached quite a few times to star in different superhero roles, either he wasn’t interested in them, or things never completely materialized.

“If I were Boris Johnson, I wouldn’t want to read it” said the Sunday Times review of Rachel Clarke’s Covid-19 NHS frontline memoir Breathtaking. If I were Boris Johnson, and capable of experiencing shame, I wouldn’t want to watch this humane, truth-telling TV adaptation either.
Breathtaking is not about Boris Johnson or the corridors of power; it’s an unvarnished record of what happened in the corridors and wards of NHS hospitals during the Coronavirus pandemic. Over three one-hour episodes based on Clarke’s experiences and research interviews, it follows fictional consultant Dr Abbey Henderson (Joanne Froggatt) and colleagues through the early days and the worst of the virus.
Why should we have to go through all of that again on screen – wasn’t once enough? Perhaps. But if your pandemic, like mine, was more about sourdough and Joe Wicks than pain and loss, then it feels...

Bad movies are not uncommon at the box office and it has been this way since the very beginning of the film industry but bad superhero movies are a whole different category and are a bit more uncommon. However, it seems like Dakota Johnson’s Madame Web will be breaking all records and might just come out as the worst superhero movie of all time.
Dakota Johnson’s Madame Web has been a massive disappointment
Dakota Johnson’s Madame Web is being criticized by critics and fans alike
Madame Web deals with the origin story of a Marvel character of the same name who has clairvoyant powers and can see into the future. ‘Deadpool’ Ryan Reynolds Once Reflected On Doing Stunts As He Ages (Picture Credit: IMDb)
Ryan Reynolds is gearing up for the release of Deadpool & Wolverine once again, which is an action-packed superhero movie, and the actor might have dreaded coming back for it at least once. A few years back, Ryan spoke about having difficulty doing stunts as he ages. The actors suffer several injuries while filming action sequences; some can even be life-threatening. Ryan was no different; his Deadpool movies are r-rated with much action.
This time, the fun will be double with his real-life pal Hugh Jackman joining the franchise and returning as Wolverine. Besides the stunts they are required to perform for the movies, the actors also have to undergo rigorous training sessions in the gym. It is tough to lead the life of an action star. Few could look away when a nearly naked Dakota Johnson stepped onto the red carpet for the world premiere of Madame Web. The 34-year-old has been a brand ambassador for Gucci since 2017, so it’s no surprise that Johnson received a sparkling custom gown from the Italian brand for the Sony Marvel movie screening.

A favorite of Leah Purcell’s as a child, Henry Lawson’s short story “The Drover’s Wife” was always at the front of her mind when growing into adulthood as an artist. It only makes sense, then, that she would take that 1892 tale and reimagine it as an Australian western that would bring her own ancestral history as a fair-skinned Aboriginal woman to light. First she had to give the titular wife a name: Molly Johnson. Next it was fleshing out a dramatic narrative beyond that of a devoted mother staying up all night to protect her children from a hidden snake while reminiscing about all the other times for which she did the same (fire and flood) with her husband consistently away. A legend was born.
Purcell also wrote a play and novel, gradually expanding the scope and reach of the material from stage to screen. It’s a deliberate evolution,...

Antoine Fuqua wants people to know the truth about the Los Angeles Lakers franchise, which is one of the reasons he directed and executive produced the upcoming 10-part Hulu docuseries “Legacy: The True Story of the LA Lakers.”
The series, which launches on Aug. 15, is the latest in a flurry of programming about the NBA dynasty.
When HBO’s “Winning Time: Rise of the Lakers Dynasty,” an Adam McKay executive-produced scripted drama about the Magic Johnson-era of the Lakers, debuted in March, it drew criticism from some of those depicted for taking too many creative liberties. Former star player and general manager Jerry West demanded a legal retraction for how the series portrayed him, while Kareem Abdul-Jabbar called it “deliberately dishonest.” Johnson, subject of Apple TV+s “They Call Me Magic” docuseries in April, also criticized the series, telling Variety, “You can’t do a story about the Lakers without the Lakers…...
