Jujutsu Kaisen has just risen to new heights.

Warning: Spoilers
Jujutsu Kaisen so far has been an great shounen because of its intriguing battle system, beautiful animation and choreography and likable characters. Now these likable characters have grown more depth especially Junpei who we were all horrified to see die in the most pathetic disrespectful manner and Itadori. You really feel his rage and root for him the whole time. I forgot the patch face guys name but I hope he dies. The animation is just another level. If you're wondering why we had cgi Titans in aot that's because all the budget went here. Anyway phenomenal episode 9.7/10.
Top Class

But why'd you have to do my boy Junpei like that. It was a good episode, but Junpei didn't deserve to die like that. Or maybe it's good he did, so it'll feel so much better when whats-his-face scar man dies. Who knows? Only time will tell.
An incredible, impactful, emotional and masterfully directed tragic episode.

Possibly one of the best if not the best episode of this first season.
The explored psychology and relationship of the characters throughout this arc and its conclusion here is brilliant, specially Yoshino's tragic and well done character development.
Also props to Mappa for making the horror elements of the manga to be brilliantly executed here too, the animation as always is top tier too.
A legendary ring.

Action and heartstrings in a stunning soup

The buildup to this episode can be felt from the very earliest moment of the show and the anime reaches a tense climax to a richly unsettling arc.
The animation exceeds the expectations of a bar already raised so high - dynamic and economic visuals with a spirit that is etched into each line.
It takes 3 already likeable characters to new heights in a brilliant blend of well designed action and a breath of fresh air to shonen in the dark evolution of the characters personalities and perspectives ; all the while the next episode is set up to deliver a pure one-two punch of the meaning of life and the value of our actions.
Shonen should be jealous.

Crazy turn of events!

This just got crazy really fast! This had great emotions and amazingly animated fight as Mahito shows just how ruthless and sinister he can be!
This episode was the culmination of Junpei's charcter and his relation with Itadori Yuji! This is what happens when you loose faith in humans after everything you have been through! I was in tears knowing how things could have been! He lost it but did not realize in time!
The fight was incredible! Just pure rage at times with some amazing animation! Very fluent with long-takes! I was on edge at times!
Overall an amazing episode that was equally shocking and satisfying to watch!

"Mahito, no! Don't do it!"

This episode of "Jujutsu Kaisen" features a much more interesting showdown with Mahito, the stitch-faced curse.
In the previous episode, the troubled boy, Junpei, lost his mother ostensibly to some bullies, and went to his high school to confront them. We knew it was really Mahito who was to blame, however.
There is an emotive moment when Yuji talks Junpei down, but the ceasefire is shattered when Mahito shows up, and he and Yuji do battle.
This was another of the better episodes of "Jujutsu Kaisen". I actually found myself kind of getting into the fight between Yuji and Mahito. The fight between Nanami (the blonde guy with the goggles) and Mahito wasn't involving for me at all in the least, but this episode's fight kind of was.

Still one of Jujutus Kaisen's finest 1/3rd hours.

Jujutsu Kaisen is the gift that keeps on giving. At the halfway point in the first season, lots has built up to this moment, and it comes in a crushing wave, with a one-two knockout of two pretty emotionally intense scenes that hit quite hard.
Yuuji's development has been terrific up to this point in the show, and you really see him at arguably his most vulnerable, after a heartfelt scene followed by witnessing a tragedy beyond his control. The emotions hit hard, and fuel his rage after that point. Something else I love about this show, that is enhanced greatly by this episode is that it makes you care about characters and having it really hurt when something bad happens to them, even ones that have only been a part of the show for a brief amount of time. Nobody is safe, and that unspoken rule does wonders to keeping you on your toes as a viewer not knowing what can happen next.
The color choices and cinematography are really on point as well, almost on the level of Red Scale, from season two. MAPPA's genuinely fantastic animation doesn't let up either, every fight is given so much tender, loving care down to every frame. Every punch hits hard... literally. The momentum of JJK really picks up big time at this point, and it's so awesome; even on a rewatch, to see just ramp up in no time flat.
This is an aside-but despite how brilliant The Shibuya Incident is, I lament the animators not having enough time to polish later episodes to their deserved perfection, even if they are still some of the best looking episodes of animated media in the medium today. Season one was special for having so many unique and interesting presentation choices that MAPPA's overworked animators sadly did not get to hone for most of season two due to deadlines. We can only hope that once Shinjuku//The Culling Game gets animated, MAPPA's animators will be given the time they deserve to be able to present it in the best way possible, because it will be a sight to behold.
