Why not a 10 you ask well because it had dull momments but that dull momments are over shadowed by the great momments and wow red hood have potential but we'll see.

Still waiting for raven.

After the disappoint of some episodes of s2 I can tell this season is going to be great.

The storyline of Red Hood unfolds and it's the right direction for the show, superb writing and cinematography - Season 3 is looking very bright
Holt34413 August 2021
Season 3 continues with a great follow-up episode to episode 1 which was also directed by Carol Banker. I thought the writing would be on the same level as the previous episode but it was actually better, a lot better. Episode 1 which was titled "Barbara Gordon" introduced most of the new cast and did two unexpected things, killing Jason Todd but it was for the better as he's one step closer to becoming one of my favorite antiheroes of DC Comics... Red Hood of course. The other unexpected yet brilliant thing was the storyline with Dick Grayson, Barbara Gordon and Bruce Wayne in how Bruce did the thing he swore to never do... To kill the Joker, I'm pretty certain that's what happened as it subtle yet clear thanks to Iain Glen's superb performance as Bruce Wayne. The episode follows the aftermath of those events. Vincent Kartheiser makes his anticipated appearance as Jonathan Crane, and the plot regarding Kory Anders develops faster than the previous episode. It's also nice to see other characters get more screen time, especially Gar Logan who is the heart of the show. The chemistry between Brenton Thwaites and Alan Ritchson and their respective characters are some of the best of the show, their banter and friendship seem so natural, like so many of the actors in Titans.

There's plenty of world building through visual storytelling and of course its writing. The cinematography is on the same level, simply breathtaking. The new sets and locations were great, the production value have really gone up and I love the huge amount of detail they put in with things like props and so on, the creators really care about the source material. The fight and action sequences isn't remarkable but good, mostly because they seem personal and that the visual effects hold up. It's always nice to see the superheroes using their powers. The final fight where Nightwing goes up against Red Hood was brilliant, a bit short but still brilliant. They use their skills and it's an even fight, that's what made it so entertaining for me.

Summary: Red Hood is more action packed and has a much faster pace, and it succeeds in having two separate tones, darker and lighter. I think it fits the show. There's also a lot of moments I liked, lots of acting performances I liked and just a near perfect episode.

One of the best DC shows ever
kadenkgcampbell13 August 2021
The acting is great! The CGI is amazing and looks expensive. They don't go cheap with the budget. The costumes and sets are wonderful. The story is wonderful. It's such a refreshing show compared to the CW shows. It's an amazing superhero TV show and we need more shows like this. We also need more Superboy in the show. He's an absolute beast!

This is the way to make a good season!

The plot continous to unfold in a good way. We have more time for watching the team and Jason Todd/ Redhood. Also the casting of Scarecrow is a really good one.

This is a great episode
marianciobanuz22 August 2021
-The story, the acting, the actors, the costumes and even the music ,which reminds me about the best action movies from the 90' s like the Matrix , with plenty of cool and rythmic alternative rock elements are getting better and better with each new episode.

Game on

Business back to normal, this has the look of a great season. The action is back, the story is good, and the intrigue has taken point. Plenty of action, with a couple of twists. Bring it on.

Barbara is an awful person
galaxy210-802-16054721 December 2021
Warning: Spoilers
She kept whining about Batman, mostly personally, and basically told him to stop being Batman. Yet when the city needs a vigilante, and Dick steps up, she takes time to keep on whining that Dick does not do as well a job as Batman. I can't stand her.

Great episode, otherwise.

It's not bad, but rushed and predictable.
alexandrubogdan941913 August 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Don't get me wrong, the season is good, it's more realistic moving away from the "magic" elements and in my opinion that's a good thing, however, the story is really rushed.

I love the fact that this is a different story, however, there are some obvious elements that are quite visible and not in a good way such as:

Red hood reveal. We all knew that it was Jason all along, however, they should have post-poned the reveal longer.

Jason is way too young to play Red hood.

Bruce just left in the second episode, It would have been really nice to focus on his inner demons for an episode or two.

Overall, it was ok, but not great.

Superboy is the problem
maarten_kos22 August 2021
Warning: Spoilers
They are so obvious writing superboy out of the main action scenes its looking like Civil War without Thor and Hulk, because they are just too strong. Superboy is so strong and fast that he could and this season in one scene, except he gets to search for the hostages or stuff like that. Having such a strong character creates this problem and its too obvious thats why its not fin viewing.

Character assassination
Riddler9112 August 2021
Warning: Spoilers
What they did to Red Hood is pure character assassination. He was never a terrorist who just murdered innocent people randomly like a maniac. He killed criminals, that's a different thing. And the tone of the show is just plain awful. It's so cheesy and awkward, it's like they took the bad stuff from the '90s but none of the good stuff, just the bad and the awkward. At times I feel like I'm looking at Power Rangers.

Shame about the ending
chunkylefunga22 October 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Thought it was great that they killed Jason off as not many shows would do that but did think it was odd that they did it in the opening scene.

Can see it was just for the instant twist.

Shame, would have made a great finale to kill off Jason properly and have season 4 chasing the joker.

[6.5] Raven!, waiting for you...
cjonesas11 January 2022
Episode 2: Nice characters talking and interacting, some nice development, lacking heavily in seriousness and action, real action, not some kindergarten cheesiness.

Hope it gets better. So far, two episodes in, nothing's in sight.
