As the year winds down, it’s time to look back at Netflix’s biggest hits, and today, we begin by looking into what kids’ TV shows picked up the most points in the Netflix top 10s over the past 12 months.
This list is compiled using FlixPatrol data collected from the daily top 10s on Netflix from over 80 countries around the globe. They assign points and values to each title that gets featured on any day. Their data isn’t perfect as their method doesn’t quite fully capture the complexity of viewership data, such as total watch time, repeat viewings, or demographic details of the audience. Also worth noting is that Netflix changed up its top 10 metrics midway through the year to favor views over pure viewing hours. That said, their data provides a pretty accurate snapshot of what performed best over a long period.

As we creep towards summer, Netflix has a hot new list of fresh content, including the final season of “Never Have I Ever,” the sophomore season of ‘Human Resources” and the highly anticipated sixth season of “Black Mirror.”
Kicking off the start of the month on mega streamer are lots of family-friendly goodies like both “Nanny McPhee” and “Nanny McPhee Returns,” “Kicking and Screaming,” “Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius” and the “Angry Birds Movie.” But the adults won’t be left out of the conversation, as more mature flicks and series like “Jarhead,” “Funny People” and “We’re the Millers” are also hitting the platform this month.
And it wouldn’t be Netflix without its originals. “Take Care of Maya,” “Extraction 2” and the Sarah Snook-led “Run Rabit Run” will land on the site in June. And even if this isn’t enough to get you watching, Netflix will be streaming its Tudum festival on Saturday,...

Exclusive: Max has boarded Mermicorno: Starfall, an animated series from Canada’s Thunderbird Entertainment.
The series, produced by Thunderbird’s Atomic Cartoons in partnership with global design company Tokidoki, has gone into production and will debut exclusively on Max in the U.S. in 2025.
That follows a deal with Thunderbird, which is selling it internationally and is also co-managing consumer products rights for the IP with LA-based Tokidoki, which means ‘Sometimes’ in Japanese. They plan to debut the series at Licensing Expo in Las Vegas in mid-June.
Mermicorno: Starfall is billed as a “smart and fun adventure-comedy that takes place in a fantastical and magical undersea world, where a team of Mermicorno [enchanting half-‘Unicorno’/half-fish creatures] join together to save the ocean from the threat of the evil Ika Inkblot.”
The series marks the first to bring to life Tokidoki’s ocean world and Mermicorno character family. The first character from the brand was launched in 2015, with collectibles,...
