The drama was consistent and engaging all throughout the episode, which is a plus and necessity for Dynasty. Amanda was missed but thankfully Alexis brought some good drama and shade. This is the most interesting Falliam have been in a long long time, and since the drama was actually interesting I didn't mind them taking centre stage, but the pair pale in comparison as characters to Amanda, Alexis, Dominique, Blake and Cristal. When your characters get boring, your show gets boring. And a lot of the other characters stopped being interesting a long time ago. However, the final scenes that recapped everyone's storyline's before heading into the finale is true Dynasty. That level of drama needs to be in every episode. The original show is the greatest soap of all time, episodes like 4x04, 4x19 and 4x20 make a mockery of that. Episodes like 4x13, 4x17 and this episode actually make me remember why I fell in love with this show in S1.

Unlike most episodes, that I call "fillers", that skip the main storyline for 1 or 2 episodes to wander towards other directions and stall the main storyline, in this episode the melodrama was engaging all throughout the end. If all episodes were like this one, then the show would have high ratings.

Alexis and Dominique were amazing! I love their scenes together. I really want to see Dex next season so we can get Brady and Dominique VS Alexis and Dex, because I doubt Brady isn't going to betray Alexis. This episode compared to the one before is like night and day. I'm ready for the finale, I just hope we can keep a steady amount of drama, OG subplots, new characters and catfights for next season. Also, Cristal needs way more spotlight. She has really proven herself this season and she works with everyone. I think she has had scenes with everyone, Jeff, Culhane, Kirby, Sam, Dominique, Blake, Fallon, Adam. Interestingly Alexis is not one of them. Alexis and Krystles rivalry was a core ingredient in the original shows success. The fact they haven't had any scenes this season is crazy. That has to change.

I need to say this season had overall good material, it was much more mature than the frivolous s3 and had much OG content. However I felt the directing didn't serve. I acknowledge that it was partly because of COVID, but I remember episodes form he first 2 seasons that had amazing cliffhangers involving a couple people only like 2x09, 2x13, 2x14, 2x15, 2x17... just to mention some. On the other hand, this was one of the only few episodes of the season that REALLY REALLY got me attached to the screen and the final footages made me shiver.

Alexis and Dominique have been clear highlights this season. They are amazing together, and they play so well off each other. I would definitely watch a show with those two women as the leads. Other than that, i loved the episode. Well written, acted and directed. I am getting a little tired of Liam though, and I don't really care about him and Fallon being together or not. I also don't understand why Culhane is still on the show. I think it's about time to write him off. It would be nice to see more OG characters appear in the reboot. Like, why haven't they introduced Dex yet? Alexis is in desperate need of a man.
