Kick up the jams

Kicking it into gear getting ready for the tournament but this episode was mostly filler. Almost all of kids are down right nasty and unlikeable, what's to care about.

Very good!

I like the character journeys a lot for Sam & Tory (and Amanda "Mrs. LaRusso"). Really interesting stuff going on with Hawk too. Johnny's backward ideas of feminism are hilarious. Only a character like Johnny can get away with being so obtuse and still being such a lovable loser at the same time.

I miss the action, but at least it is hilarious
This season has not had so much action, but it is based on stories and to give more relevance to the tournament, which is okay. There are so many hilarious moments, Jhonny is amazing.

So funny!

Warning: Spoilers
Wow, another excellente episode.

The judge's opening scene was very good and made me laugh, right after we had the senseis' reaction to the new terms, I loved that scene which also made me laugh.

The recruiting scenes for Eagle Fang almost killed me with laughter because I love Johnny's character...

Now coming out of the funny scenes, the scene in the store between Robby, Daniel and Terry was tense, is Robby going back to miyag-do? I think it will happen like Daniel said, maybe in the tournament, who knows?

And most importantly... Aisha is back! I didn't expect this, I was shocked when I saw her.

I didn't like Sam in this episode, I always thought the character was ok, but in this episode I didn't like her very much. I thought Tory's little plot was cool.

4,5/5.

Too much (bad) filler lately. Need more bad-ass stuff.
Steve_Holt_2 January 2022
Dimitri used his verbal skills for good again, and I like that a lot better than the early Dimitri.

The debate girl scene seemed really contrived, as well as insincere when Johnny called her the most bad-ass girl he's seen. It felt like a forced CW show scene.

Tory's arch is actually getting interesting.

Decent episode, but nothing too great. Best part was the karate board meeting.

They Must Be Leading to a...
TheFearmakers1 January 2022
Last minute Creese reprise where Creese becomes a good guy since having Terry Silver here, and having Daniel warning Robbie about Silver the same exact way he's been warning everyone against Creese, before that, Johnny, is just redundant... Overall another filler episode... Not bad, a pretty good season...

This episode jumped the shark.
bnrdxzqh31 December 2021
In before they blame officially jumping the shark on "...ists". This episode was written by someone on Twitter with a bunch of pronouns in bio they made sure you will know it over the entire storyline.

Netflix woke politics strikes again.
Mr_MickyKnox13 January 2022
This is probably the silliest episode I've seen so far . Hardly no story, and blatant snowflake propaganda ruins the whole thing . This has Netflix wokery written all over it . Politics comes before storylines in 99% of anything to do with Netflix.

I miss the days of this being on YouTube when it was a proper nostalgic and entertaining retrofest , now it's only goal is to jump on the wokey snowflake bandwagon and offend everyone that loved the original movies. I was expecting the "All Valley Committee" to announce that there was going to be a trans category aswell to be honest, that's how silly this is getting .

If this carries on like this, I can see this show fizzling out before too long !

Weakest ep so far in a powerful series
LaundryMatt201 December 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Sam has been annoying the crap out of me for a while now. Her old bestie gave her some really strong and deep advice about breaking the pattern and starting something good, and she decides to take that advice to relight the same old bs fire with Tory? Seriously? She should've tried to make amends, even on the surface, even if she's secretly keeping a close eye on her (which would be really smart obviously).

Other than that, this was a very filler episode, and Demetri talking Eli into returning was done pretty weakly, but it was alright. I've enjoyed Demetri's character development, and absolutely LOVED Eli's. Eli's arc has been crazy.

The subplot of Johnny finding a girl competitor was cheesy and annoying, and I couldn't tell if it was pulled from a sitcom, a CW show, or a lesser Netflix show from the late 2010s.

All-around, this episode was by far the weakest Cobra Kai episode so far. I love this show, and I honestly thought I was gonna hate it or think it was stupid when I started it, but it's one of my favorite shows of all time. Had to write a review for this ep, though. Not sure how they fumbled this one so badly.

this episode was very problematic
cyroskristi13 January 2022
And just like that Netflix ruins a good show to promote their hateful propaganda woke ,pronouns, identity, politics, etc .

So as their say , this episode was very problematic !
