Avoid Queen and You will Like it
iammajidzz1 October 2021
With continued Queen stupidity and her arrogance, I started avoiding her scenes and it's much better for mental peace.

The episode had some good views, long awaited meetings, turn of tables, great misunderstanding and amazing truthfulness. Baba Voss had less in this one, but it was more of a Political show.

Glad Edo Voss gets to know truth about his lieutenant(Captain now), but how is he gonna use her. Definitely not as bad person but as a blessed commander.

Loved it and can't wait for Queen to die. But I know she won't ever die like a Cat.

Better, not quite there but better
tbunker-882942 October 2021
Warning: Spoilers
I would give this episode a 7.5 if IMDB would let me

Not sure what they were thinking with the middle of the season but I started to get worried for the quality of the show. It's starting to turn around.

It's like a roller coaster, it goes up and down. The beginning of season 2 was up and the last 2-3 episodes were down. It's starting to go back up, really hoping they maintain that.

Lighting was better

Still hate the incest story line between Kofun and Queen Kane. Thats the biggest qualm I have with this season so far. It's an unnecessary and also quite frankly overused taboo.

Unbalanced

Warning: Spoilers
Why give the incestuous scenes between Kofun and the Queen so much screen time and the love scenes between Wren and Haniwa an eighth of the screen time? I hated that.

Tom Mison is great!
hafaball-13 October 2021
Tom Mison has been a huge addition to this season and has brought much levity to an overly serious show and this episode proves it. He's spectacular in the underrated Sleepy Hollow, where I first saw him, so it's great to see him chewing the scenery here.

Keeps getting better and better...
tomassantmamede-248041 October 2021
Warning: Spoilers
This story keeps getting better and better. I am really curious to see how this will all wrap up this season, but the tension is building for sure.

This episode is somewhat dark which makes it harder to see during the day... I will have to rewatch it this evening. Love, betrayal, suffering, death and DOUBT characterize this amazing episode.

Sibeth pulled the rug under Maghra's feet and I am very curious to see what she will do after this. In my opinion, Tamacti will be key in the next episodes to come. I think Kofun will get badly hurt at the hands of Sibeth.

I you like Game of Thrones... This is the show for you!

Best episode by far!!
ahmxii3 December 2021
This episode keeps the trend of the last several installments in terms of the great improvement of pacing. The action is swift and compelling, and this episode feels consequential in a way that sets the stage for the many bloody fireworks to come as we approach the latter half of the season.

Very good episode - Politics & plot intersecting with Haniwa/Wren shine
juneub-489623 October 2021
Warning: Spoilers
One of the best episodes to date in my view.

Full of political intricacies and different factions looking out for their interests, makes for a really enjoyable viewing experience, especially if you prefer politics over battle. Did find the Queen/Kofun scenes somewhat hard to watch - but it does show how the Queen emotionally manipulates people, especially those susceptible to it.

The twist at the end of the peace talks and how that influenced the relationship and trust between Haniwa and Wren was masterful. Also leaves you with a bit of a Cliffhanger at the end, aching to find out how Edo takes the reveal.

Overall a bit slow at times, but the parts that were great really did shine.

Very good episode
elartu-952 October 2021
Those who are saying that this episode was gross, are you guy 5 year old? Grow up or go and watch Disney+ content.

Seriously, this episode was a huge step from the last 2 episodes. What the Queen did to Kofun and her master plan behind the "peace agreement" was awesome.

So close to a huge event, hopefully they don't save the bug and good stuff until last episode.

Love the First Season
oktava935 October 2021
Why, please, why do you make this incredible idea from the first season we saw to degenerate into "Game of thrones" disgusting world of incest, sex, and blood?

Please, bring back the masterpiece the first season was!

[7.6] Dynamite exploding
cjonesas30 March 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Episode 6: A more interesting, tense, mini action-packed episode with a lot going on, too much filler scenes involving Kofun, Queen doesn't count as she is basically (the) Queen and if they don't show her, what would they do?!

Baba Voss was great in the end, though a little too late and one person even as mighty as him couldn't have changed the outcome.

The last minute of the episode was the greatest IMO and that phrase in that electric silence was like dynamite exploding.

Interesting premise and decent storyline.
linnommt8 October 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Some folks state that the actors and actresses are faking their lack of vision. This review is from a scientist standpoint.

A blind person's other senses (in this modern day) aren't any better than others who can see... but they depend on them more. With a genetic affliction of lack of vision, the other senses would be superior. Marghra can hear her sisters heartbeat (and that of her child). Hand and mouth sounds show the blind where to focus but the blind are still near powerless against hashashins.

Now to the fighting. Notice how Baba Voss makes circles of sound with his weapons as he listens. ANY sound not his is where an enemy is and with that sound reference, he then has a location reference and strikes quickly. That would be viable because as I said, the other senses compensate for lack of vision.

How would they tell friend from foe? I don't think bathing is a common occurrence amongst the humans so a jumped up sense of smell would detect a stranger. The hashashins are silent as they take even more advantage of sound information.

Something interesting for the future? The blind people all seem to have heavy duty cataracts. Imagine someone with cataract removal skills in the mix...

Blind People: You have not killed us!!

Eye Surgeons: No... we have made you into what you fear and hate the most... Witches!!

A coherent saga
bjpafa2 November 2021
Uneasy is the Head that's wears the Crown, We could say that the Tempest would have been better without the act 5.1... Other relations about what an epic drama should be.

I bow to you all, people, authors of something different, unpredictable in a sense, consistent and powerful.

Great Job.

It will not be forgotten.

Congratulations.

Let's keep the bar higher... sense.

Gross, just disturbing
chexsmate2 October 2021
I threw up in my mouth over this one. As if a child of Baba Voss would be as stupid as Kofun. I wish the storyline wasn't going in the direction it is.

Started to Fall Off
erenbozkir8 October 2021
I was really enjoying this show up to the point they reach to that new capital. People complain about Queen and I understand why but I really enjoy her acting. Real downside for this season for me is Kofun. We already knew Kofun was stupid but he has gotten much worse. I cannot even stand the actions he is performing. I dislike Haniwa's forced relationship. The ending of this episode is really stupid too. Writers need to think more and stop being lazy in their script and general story telling. They have really solid material in their hands but they are keep wasting it in this season. For example, there was so much potential in Kerrigan's character as Lord Harlan does but they wasted him. I started to fear it will get worse in next episodes. I hope they can figure out what they are doing.

Someone does something in the darkness for one hour
Wilishem3 October 2021
At some point while watching this episode, I actually wondered whether my TV set was on. Turns out it was on. But honestly I could've saved some electricity and kept it off. Wouldn't make any difference whatsoever.

As for the story itself, it's the same boring talks between unlikable characters making stupid decisions. Well deserved one star.

The highlight (oh, what a word) of the episode was the sight of a downed helicopter on the trail. And that speaks volumes.

Characters created around stupidity
razvan-hurba1 October 2021
Main charactwr: the annoying queen. All the rest are too stupid enough to kill her.

This basically sums up all this show has to offer.

Poor performance
tejo-bruno4 October 2021
Follower since beginning, I'm definitely losing interest. The characters are doing a very poor performance. Kofun shows the worst side on this episode and the Queen Jane has too much influence on the storyline. The story role should be more heroic and each character have more impact around. Looks like each one have their's separate story.

Calm down, the aggressors are waiting to get dressed

Warning: Spoilers
In a world where everyone is blind, Haniwa and Wren wake up screaming, instead of going out and seeing what happened ??? They went and put on all their clothes???
