How on earth...
idrincon21 August 2021
One of the things I have been amazed since episode 1 is how the writers are able to pack so much in 30 min.

This episode ends and you feel you watched a whole series.

This episode has Four different storylines with beginning, middle and end. Masterful storytelling.

Scenes that make you laugh and cry at the same time.

Punchlines that will become classics.

All in 30 min!!!

Best Episode of the Season!

How is it that each episode of this show is better than the last!? This was incredible. So many good moments. The jokes and references came a mile a minute, I restarted it as soon as I finished just to catch everything!

Also, Roy Kent is a freaking legend and is hands down my favorite character this season. Every second he was on screen was a treat.

Is there an option to give a rating of 15/10?
gchhoker20 August 2021
Well.. that's how amazing this episode was. This is the best feel-good series I have ever watched and this episode was the best. I haven't watched any series like this where I am always smiling, from start till the end. If you are having a bad day then this is the best thing that will happen to you.

Every episode steadily gets better and more deep. Each character has so much value in the script it's unlike anything I've seen. Thank you so much to the creators of this show I needed it in my life.

With all the terrible things going on in the world Ted Lasso is a Rainbow
Np109022 August 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Ted Lasso continues to one-up itself by churning out incredible episode after incredible episode. I have never in my life watched a show that made me feel so hopeful that there is true good in humanity. This show gives us amazing characters with less than perfect backgrounds who support each other and help each other grow as human beings. This latest gem saw the ever formidable Roy Kent learn what truly makes him happy in life and to stop being afraid of going for it. We are then treated to possibly the greatest stereotypical rom-com "airport chase" scene which concludes with possibly the greatest stereotypical rom-com "take-me-back speech". The epic finale of this episode is overall one of the best of all time.

We also get to see Rebecca and Keely use their strong personalities for good as they help Nate grow his confidence. It doesn't seem to matter who or when, but the entirety of TL has seen each character go through amazing transformations at some point and in turn pay it forward to help someone else. This is what makes this show what it is. A light during a dark time in our history. Ted Lasso has made me laugh and cry, but most of all smile and feel hopeful even on the toughest of days.

If you haven't watched this show yet I cannot recommend it enough. It's the best feel-good show on television!

Just when you think it can't get any better...

This episode had all the feels and had me rooting for every single person. It was good to see Nate's character development and Roy find his way. The rom-com references were fabulously done. There was one tiny, two-second moment in the middle that seemed to hint at something that, if my hunch is right, I have mixed feelings about, but I trust the show enough to go with it no matter what. Love love love this episode and am grateful for the big-hearted energy of this show.

A brilliant episode that gets back to what makes this show great. Some great heartfelt moments & not taking itself to seriously with the 'rom-communism' tropes. It was great to see Nate become assertive & Roy realise coaching is what he's made for. She's a rainbow was a nice touch too along with so many other little references to classic rom coms. I thought this episode was fantastic!

Coach Kent
dannylee-7808231 October 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Even though the shows name is Ted Lasso - I love that the show is focusing on the growth of the people around him which in this episode we're Nate and Roy. Both find their true inner self and they embrace it and run with it.

Solid episode but I'm not sure why this particular episode has such a high rating.

It's fine

Warning: Spoilers
Season 1 had a tension to it that weaved itself through every episode. Ted Lasso was a beacon that shined as bright as it could and if it struck someone in it, then that person could find a sliver of salvation and happiness. They just had to shed the BS of the world and accept positivity and, if they were strong enough, themselves.

This episode continues a Season 2 trend of tensionless television. Ted's light beams everywhere now. We're 15 episodes in and it feels like the struggle is over.

Have a rich oil baron wanting Sam fired? That's OK, this entire world is good. Jamie still struggling with his place in the world and insecure masculinity? That's OK, it's all solved now. Jamie is on board.

In Season 1, Ted was pulling a series of Godfather-like strings, using his kindness to allow chess pieces to move themselves into place. Season 2? All the strings are pulled. The chess is now checkers.

The show is pleasant. I guess that's fine. I hope I can remember to watch it next week.

Warning: Spoilers
Super dramatic episode, this show keeps surprises me with the new stories they create.

Roy kent, Ted and Isaac was one of the best side stories in Tv to be created, it's not about winning or losing the game but it's about enjoying it.

The chemistry between the actors is unbelievable,Foy and Ted are so good when they are together.

Nathan got his pride back, he is a new man now.

Too much beautiful quotes in one epiosde and too much love, fun and joy.

The upcoming episode will be great I believe, Ted might be chatting with Rebecca, like who shares beautiful quotes more than Ted ? And they didn't share any moment together in this episode so I believe the next epiosde will be more dramatic and more romantic.

And more heartbreaking.

Best Show
brucekislow20 August 2021
I haven't loved a show as much as I love Ted Lasso in a very long time. Thank you EVERYONE involved, the episodes just get better and better. All the characters endear themselves to you and their memories stays with you long after the credits roll. I gasped when the text message hint was dropped. I've been wondering for some time if this was the direction they might be going. I look forward to seeing how this plays out.

If you aren't grinning ear to ear at the end of this episode then you need help. This was incredibly touching and funny and charming. This show is amazing already but this really shows the heart at the center of it. Well done. Just a perfect a episode!

The show wasn't bad, but focusing on Nate is just a bad idea. I have no idea how this was an Emmy nominated character.

Castrated.
nicholasfjones20 August 2021
Season one had real heart and real emotional stakes - a story about a man struggling to save his marriage, coming to terms with the fact that it's ending, taking risks against the odds, in the face of great adversity, and doing whatever he can to move forward with his life.

None of that exists now. This is just Hallmark, saccharine, cookie cutter nonsense. Who's their target audience here? The audiences of Love Actually and Jerry Maguire? Has Apple done market studies and taken creative control?

The second season has been neutered. Literally.

Some people genuinely don't seem to understand parody
rachel-filmer8218 October 2021
Or perhaps they haven't seen any romantic comedies. The parody elements in this episode - particularly the WHMS homage with the couple - were so well done, my favourite of the season so far.

This may just be the best TV episode of all time
PFFAW20 August 2021
Warning: Spoilers
I think this might outdo the final episode of The Sopranos for me, because it made me cry tears of joy. I've watched this entire series seven times in short succession, and I'm still not tired of it. Here I am watching this episode again right away. Roy Kent is one of the greatest characters of all time. It did not go unnoticed that Nate had a rough episode. I'm wondering what's in store for him...
