The tale of a young teen who seeks a meaning in his life by entering a group of young punks. This thru an initiatory rite. There is nothing more in this story, a topic many times evoked before. Nothing really new then. Predictable ending. Not boring and fortunately short, that's why, I guess.

The story of a little boy . His relation with the older brother, his need to demonstrate his straight, a ritual of initiation for become member of a gang. And the return to home, late, the love of mother compensating a day of frustrations and humiliation.
Nothing new , memorable or interesting.
Excepting the deep bitterness, the remind of cruelty of children and their cowardness in extrem moments. In some measure, this form of reminding of bitter episodes of childhood and the taste of Romanian first decade after fall of Comunism films , defined as form of miseralism, remain the only virtues.

Nice illustration of that exact age.

A boy in search of a tough guys credibility, who manages to get it while discovering just being a boy is good too. The transition from boy to teen is well illustrated. That pre-teen step through the big door of puberty is great fodder. As an American, I also enjoyed the cultural accuracy (or what I perceive to be accurate). The acting is well done throughout, and the characters' bravado and attitude shine with a European flavor that is different and more over-the-top than I would expect from American actors. Culturally interesting. Climbing into bed with mom was a great closing, and a fitting surmise of a pre-teen struggle.
