Which explains why set of the sets look small and cramped. I have a copy of the 1947 revised version which only runs 47 minutes. Perhaps that explains the lack of explanation of the plot. It concerns John having been deprived of his rightful inheritance of the manor and the efforts of the villains to get rid of him. The description above says TV movie,but it wasn't. It was made for Saturday morning cinem.the Children's film Foundation.
