dont watch it

Biggest load of rubbish - Sarah must get neck ache the amount of times she swishes her head back, or just the school of bad acting. Go back to doing astrophysics.

I barely made it to 20 mins before switching off. This makes Skinwalker Ranch look like an Emmy award winner.

Do some proper investigation for a change and get credible people.

Stop editing in the same shots for ten mins.

Do yourself a favor and make a cup of tea instead and give this a miss.

If you enjoy the subject matter go and find something much better and dont waste your time on this one, i dont think it will make it to another season (hope not).

A cool popcorn documentary in its early days

Ancient Aliens was pretty amateurish at the beginning, too. Don't knock this one, yet. At this stage, it's great to see a new show focused on UFOs and aiming at the teen market. I love Craig Charles' work in Red Dwarf, and it's awesome he's helped put this show together, but he needs a larger crew, on location appearances, in-person interviews... etc to make this show more appealing to the general population. Still, COVID-style production means some restrictions. If he can own this like Giorgio Tsoukalos and David Childress own Ancient Aliens, this is going to be regular viewing for people like myself who enjoy watching any of the latest developments in UAP research, with some bonus science. Also, what Ancient Aliens failed at was it took them ages to have more women on the show. Here we have scientist / space journalist Sarah Cruddas in the first ep, straight out of the gate as a regular. How awesome! Would like to see some more science from her. Maybe even a five minute 'Let me explain that' segment going into some physics. Don't dumb it down too much. 7/10 for potential.

Please, please no more of this dribble

It's little wonder the anti believers are so abundant. With garbage like this on our screens who could blame them. The whole show has absolutely no credibility what so ever. I wonder how much money Nick Pope has made from this UFO phenomenon? The moment he shows his face on these programs you know any hope of convincing the non believers is lost, and as for the so called (female) physicist the way she constantly snaps her head back and forth made me wonder if she was watching a game of tennis. Give this a big miss and don't waste your time no matter how much you may enjoy the subject.

This doesn't deserve the low rating
emceeanz7 October 2022
The jumping all over the place was jarring, but the information given on these accounts was actually quite through, certainly more thorough than the "phenomenon" or " I know what I saw", cuz they actually ask questions and don't just believe the witnesses accounts,

I actually wish there were more UFO shoes with this rigorous format- it's just a shame about the jumping with the noise that accompanies the jumping.

The first episode alone was extremely compelling, i couldn't find any information about this account on Google and it's perhaps the most dramatic encounter I've ever come across. That alone is enough to watch this series.

Like I said I wish there were more series like this that tried to scrutinise these encounters without just believing them. Definitely doesn't deserve a 4/10.

Rubbish
cammic21 June 2022
I cannot believe Craig Charles put his name to this absolute rubbish. Just another UFO series based on absolutely no evidence, photos, film or newspaper reports. I could go on and say I saw Jesus working for Uber and I think they'd believe it! Give this a huge miss unless you need a good laugh.

Unwatchable.
borisquietman27 October 2023
Nearly every single cut is accompanied by a 'stylised' flashing negative frame and irritating digital click that are impossible to ignore. It's supposed to give the impression that the footage was edited with super-secret covert military spy technology but it just looks cheap and causes a headache. Unnecessary.

Wanted an easy watch and a chuckle but from the limited amount I could endure the content appears to pander to 'I do my own research' types by having 'witnesses' (unburdened by pesky evidence) ramble freely about their unfounded conclusions. This is why no one takes UFO enthusiasts seriously even though there is an interesting conversation to be had about the topic in general.

I don't know whether to feel sorry for the astrophysicist or not, maybe she didn't know what she was signing up for or maybe the gig just paid really well, but I truly hope her legacy isn't spoiled or defined by video-conferencing lunatics in a garden shed - sorry I meant secret command bunker.

If aliens were genuinely exposed to present-day humanity there would probably (sadly) be no thought provoking discussions or philosophical awakening, it would just encourage mentally unwell basketcases to come forward claiming to have telepathic connections with them, sparking a new subculture of lonely outcasts to rival flat-earthers, and exposing our inability as a society to help those who are struggling to find community and acceptance in reality.

Or you can believe the positive reviews suggesting that the critiques of this trash are operations to hide the truth.

You are being lied to by the debunkers and negative reviews.
thirdlawofmotion2 February 2023
Sure, this isn't going to win any awards for content but anything that sheds light on this subject is a good thing. The governments are lying to you with disinformation campaigns. The likes of the CIA have been controlling the narrative for years. They are and have been brainwashing the public for decades. I have seen 2 UFOs so need NO further proof of their existence. I laugh at all the none believers as they are in for a big shock one day. These things whatever they are have been here on earth longer than we have. I know for a fact something sinister is going on. We are zoo, laboratory and quite possibly a supermarket/fridge for these beings. If there is nothing to fear why all the secrecy? Why is the truth hidden from the public?

Please stop.
toyl-922975 October 2023
One can only pray that they make no more of this regurgitated tosh. Limp, vapid, nothingness. A subject matter that like the Supernatural, is worthy of some serious investigation, but ends up with this kind of trashy "for entertainment" guff.

I don't know anything about the astrophysicist co-presenter, but I doubt very much that her contribution of pointing and looking worried played any part in her gaining her degree/PhD.

Unengaging, superficial nonsense. The only upside is that it will be consigned to the historical bin of TVs mos worthless crap in pretty short order.

Bubblegum for the brain.

Utter rubbish
Chiller11730 April 2023
I have only seen craig charles in one series on tv, red dwarf, and he was funny in that. Just because that series was set in space does not qualify him to be a presenter for a yet another terrible ufo conspiracy series. Just the previews put me off, but I thought that I would give it a try.

What a big mistake I made though, I do not know what episode it was, but within seconds of me going to the blaze channel, who popped up, but that big-nosed, large foreheaded, wittering idiot, nick pope. Another reason for me not to want to watch this idiotic program.

Anything with that slurring, squinty-eyed, blithering idiot in it makes me change channels instantly, I cannot stand the way he tries to explain things... maybe he is an alien.

Another show with nothing
Xavier_Stone23 April 2023
Warning: Spoilers
After a while viewers can just start out with the FFW on and see if there is anything useful. Mostly people talking and talking, wow, I'm speechless, and on and on.

Zero evidence. Nothing new. Lets trot out the 3 military videos that were released. Then replay those over and over, the cut back to the host interviewing someone. "I know what I saw." "It's not of this world." Rinse.

Repeat.

This has been done so many times that it gets predictable and boring.

Terrible editing, a waste of time to watch
izak-1990620 January 2024
Warning: Spoilers
If you like to watch people talking with no actual on-site research, mixed with the same scenes over and over again, this is your thing. Worst editing ever. I usually never write reviews but it is SO bad I have to do this.

The way the show is edited is really bad. I counted the repeat of one specific scene, it got repeated FOURTEEN times during the same episode. I cannot believe that this rubbish even got released. Basically you are looking at 2 people who are too lazy to leave the studio to do some actual research while the same images show up like it is a brainwash video. And I did not even het started on the terrible effects in each episode.

Unimaginative, no proper investigations so no decent evidence,
paulcassidy-8125614 July 2023
I only gave it 2 stars because I like Craig Charles, but the pair of them just sit in the studio talking about some UFO conspiracy, most of the time they have cases that have no evidence, if they haven't got sod all to go on 'don't bring it on the show unless you're gonna get stuck into it and investigate it ,instead you sit there looking at each other, and end up giving your verdict, honest to god, either up the tempo or scrap the program, the program was obviously done on the cheapest budget possible, they won't even give you money for a taxi to go and investigate some of the claims, and that Sarah is terrible, her fake surprises, and verdicts are so boring and predictable.

Poorly done
johndotson-5025221 September 2023
Some of the worst video editing I have ever witnessed. Poor Sarah is a beautiful woman who is heading for a spinal injury! Poor thing has to flip her head almost every time the illustrious Mr. Charles says a word! And the acting is worse! Mr. Charles has no credit with an American audience and Sarah as an Astrophysicist appears equally unknown in America. I can only wonder if She is known in the UK? The same goes for Mr. Charles.

If you believed in UFO's before you no longer do! If you didn't, you still don't! A complete waste of time for all involved!

Does this review contain spoilers? LOL, LOL, LOL! That's not why it stinks!

Mainstream Resistance
andrewmegson28 March 2024
I perfectly understand why this programme is being attacked by some. I like Craig Charles and find the show entertaining, but it often seems corny and contrived. More generally, these Blaze offerings vary in credibility. As for Nick Pope, I first became aware of him in a Daily Mail article a number of years ago, regarding the Rendlesham Forest incident. I subsequently bought his very interesting book. Since then, however, the former MoD man has gone further out to the fringes. When he says that we are now entering a more open era, with mainstream recognition, I wonder if he is too optimistic. Sure, the Pentagon actually admitted last summer that there are things flying in the air that they don't understand, but then, eventually follow that with; "no evidence of alien origin." I would love to see some of the believers in a genuine engagement with smart arsed sceptics like ITV's smug newsman Tom Brady, but it's not going to happen. The phenomenon has needed a serious BBC/ITV documentary for a long time. Their silence is deafening.
