A Dying Art

Warning: Spoilers
I was always enchanted by the beam of light coming through the porthole, making its way through the cigarette smoke to the screen. I even tired to get a job at the Classic Baker Street.

Eventually after i joined the Cinema Theatres Association,I was able to go into projection boxes on a regular basis. What a great thrill it was.

I remember I'm about 2008 we went to the UGC,ex AB C in Ealing and witnessed out first digitally projected film.

Then starting in 2011 film projectors were swept away and digital reigns supreme.

So now you go into a cinema. There is one person in charge who runs everything. Sometimes the sound isn't right so you go Amstell her.

This film documents thrives of protectionist who ran film and the few that are now left. Very nostalgic.
