I hope I'm not the only one that is so glad Les did another season. We've had all these imitators come along the last few years with different 'Survival reality-shows' but Les is still the best. No camera crews,or staged scenes off the highways, life jackets under their shirts, or sleeping in hotels at night. Just Les out there alone. Which takes guts. Mind you he has his GPS and satellite phone etc.for emergencies but he keeps it real or as 'real' as you get filming a TV show and you've gotta respect that. I do like Dual Survival and some of the other guys but there is only one Les. Which he alsodirects, composes the music and edits also. I almost laughed out loud when he said "Some guys see this as man vs. wild or what have you, its not man vs. wild-nature just is, its not for you or against you." Or something along those lines. I just love his levity .Glad your back Les.

Terrific as Always, Glad he's back!

10 days is a triumphant return to the Survivorman tradition. I actually found the 10 days to be a better time to really experience and explore surviving in the lands. The two episodes helped fill out the feeling of surviving for an extended period of time.

My only criticism might be the split screen. I don't remember if this is a new feature or it has been used in the past seasons, but I guess as a viewer I don't like having to make a choice of which camera to watch. It sort of distracts me. Just a nitpick.

Les is a pleasure to spend time with and remains in my opinion the most interesting survival show expert around. I missed those Harmonica break downs and am sure glad to see the one and only SURVIVORMAN return for this season!

Fake and disgusting

Warning: Spoilers
Most of these shows are absolutely fake and disgusting. Most of what is shown on this TV show is wrong and fake. If anyone does these things in real life, he will die. Only Dumb, Less knowledgeable, Uneducated, Teenage People are like this kinds of shows. Sometimes it's support Animals Cruelty also....

Survivorman and son

I lived in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado for six months, all through the winter, etc. Living in a tent I made with sticks cooking in a fire I built with no lighter, just 2 sticks and kinelin. I think the show is a joke. I would love to go on one side of the ocean, river, wherever he is and stay there 10 more days than him and show people a real survival show. This one is a joke. Same with the new naked in the woods show. I would enjoy being on that island. Lol. The stingrays they are afraid of I would be eating. They find a lot of city people for these shows. People that have minimum hunting experience, weak, I would literally enjoy the things they are complaining about. I just think it's a waist and they aren't teaching people survival skills. You just miraculously find a frying pan in the woods? OK.

One of my favourites.

Les has guts! I have watched as many of his shows as possible and am in awe of him for the situations he has put himself into. Risking true danger in places like Africa (and large predators) and northern Canada (and large predators) and South America (and large predators) not to mention places with poisonous snakes, bad bugs, and fish that bite! I don't know how long he can do this without befalling some misfortune. I do think he puts himself at great risk, much more so than any of the other survival programs out there. I find his episodes very entertaining as well as educational. I enjoy having the opportunity to see these strange and exotic places, Les visits, in an entirely different light than we would get from watching other shows. The amount of work required to do his own self filming burns many additional calories a day which is likely not appreciated by many viewers.
