The best documentary I have ever seen
pedrobelotecruz1 December 2022
I was literally in tears when this ended. I have no ways to describe how amazing this was. For a youtube video made mostly by one man this is A M A Z I N G.

It is insulting to call this merely "A Youtube Video". This is art, this is a film, a documentary, and not just a documentary, THE BEST documentary ever.

With this documentary, I laughed, I cried, I got thrilled, I got suspenseful, I felt EVERY single emotion intended to feel. This is a GENIUS work of art, and it has 1000% more entertainment level than 99% of Hollywood movies.

Kevin is one of, if not the best filmmakers of our generation, and for sure, the best Youtuber of all time.

I have no more words to describe this, it is simply the best documentary, the best YouTube video, and one of the best films I have ever seen. 11/10.

A masterpiece in filmmaking
andrewdsmnd11 May 2023
I made this account after watching for the second time just to give a review for this masterpiece about what seems to be such a mundane topic but turns into mirror for personal reflection. The production quality, the segmentation, the nostalgia, and emotion will grip you for the whole runtime.

It's a must see and credit to Kevin for being such an underappreciated documentarian but continuing to produce films of superb quality completely free on his YouTube channel. I'm very much looking forward to seeing what topics Kevin tackles next and how he continues to do in depth documentaries on pop culture on par with any Oscar winning film.

A real documentary
norwalpeppers29 November 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Not just a youtube video created by a youtuber or a content creator, but a real documentary created by a real documentarian and filmmaker. Addressing the struggles of recognition in artistry and the stigma associated with self publishing, while brilliantly tying that into the main subject of Alex Lassarenko, the finally credited creator of the four note Disney channel mnemonic ID.

This is more than worth a watch, incredibly engaging and if you consider yourself an artist in any respect this will speak to you deeply.

All people involved in creating something, however "important" that thing is, deserve recognition for their work. What a monumental achievement it truly is to be remembered for not one note, but four.

A True Documentary

Warning: Spoilers
This masterpiece is a splendid look at two men that should be remembered. Alex Lasarenko, a great composer and a man who arguably has shaped my personal childhood, but also Kevin Perjurer, a documentarian who has time and time again put so much of himself into everything that he has produced, and a man who without question has shaped my adult life.

This documentary not only explores the topic of the importance and usage of bumpers, jingles, and station identification to shape and mold the station's public perception, but it also touches on the importance of putting all of yourself into any piece of media produced for the public, as its never certain what one will be remembered for when one is no longer able to produce media.

Expectation passing and passing

I love this film to bits the cinematography of the shots is pure eye candy. The case was exiting and thrilling to watch unravel over the course of this brilliantly executed documentary about a mundane question turned epic. Learning the history of Disney Channel may seem as something boring but Kevin finds a way to turn it fantastic with the big two reveals at the end being one of my favorite climaxes in film history when he shows that the whole time we have been listening to the music of Alex Lasarenko was amazing i absolutely loved this documentary i can't imagine anything else i could say that hasn't already got my point across this is a must watch for everyone and for sure my favorite documentary and favorite video on youtube.
