Before I start the review I just wanted to say that this episode was absolutely BEAUTIFUL both story wise and art wise. Some people have had doubts and issues with the new season for it being lackluster and weak. I agree that the strength and depth of the villains were disappointed in the season but the last episode completely changed it for me, as a manga reader I knew that Nezuko was going to live but watching the animation of her dying in Tanjiro's arms as he was completely stuck on what to do was heartbreaking then following it with Nezuko sacrificing herself was beautiful. Then the new plot point of Muzan now hunting for Nezuko was a perfect setup for the new season. (Sorry if there are any issues English is not my main language)

The Swordsman Village Arc has concluded and the stakes are beginning to skyrocket. Going into this arc I honestly expected one of, if not both of the hashira's to die considering what happened to Gyutaro and Daki at the end of the last arc. But considering Gyutaro individually was stronger than upper 5, maybe even upper 4, it makes sense that they wouldn't live up to that standard.

It's a little disappointing that we couldn't see the full potential of upper 4 because I thought he was one of the coolest looking demons yet, but considering we are halfway, maybe even over halfway done with this show it makes sense that there will be more demons falling. This brings more attention to Akaza, Doma, and Kokushibo as well as Muzan who will now be on the offensive in the future.

The main thing that surprised me is that we didn't get to see the fullest potential of the Love Hashira Mitsuri, and maybe even Muichiro as well unless his final form was the one we saw against upper 5. I'm concerned going into the future knowing there are 3 demons left, 4 including Muzan and yet there's still 7 hashira's. Add on Tanjiro, Nezuko, Inosuke, Zenitsu, and also Genya and others, that makes over 11 demon slayers against 4 demons. I'm just hoping the balance isn't going to be clustered going into the future considering we usually see the fullest potential of every demon slayer and hashira.

But the main takeaway of the episode was the Nezuko scene. It was heartbreaking at first but shocking that she can withstand the sun. It was a beautiful scene but it's hard to judge on it considering there are many questions that are yet to be answered. Hopefully we get clarity in the future because while the scientists insight was great, I don't think it's enough to write off what happened with Nezuko completely.

Moving forward, things will be more intense as Muzan finally has a goal set in stone. While the demon slayers might think they've taken the victory, Muzan got what he wanted even if it was at the cost of 2 of his upper ranks. And it seems he wants to take matters into his own hands so what does that mean for the other upper ranks? I'm excited to find out but I'm looking forward to the next arc considering the stakes are going to be much higher. Tanjiro is entering Hashira level and I'm sensing an all out war between the demons and demon slayers, and I cannot wait.

Yup I'm rating a 10 and no I don't work for DS in any way and I'm not a first time reviewer trying to help tip the scale. This episode really was perfection. The animation of demon slayer is just so vibrant which really makes it set apart from other animes for me. And it's the eyes. The eyes of the demons are incredible. When i think about Japanese animation and how it's so different from other animation in the world, the eyes are what comes to mind. And yet somehow demon slayer is able to even make their own style different not amongst animation itself only but amongst Japanese anime. Which I think is pretty incredible. But anyways back to the episode.... Spoiler....

Okay so I definitely cried a like a baby immediately when the song started to play while nezuko is burning. Maaaaan that song. And this is all while I've already read the manga so even tho I knew what was happening, the scene was just so perfect... it still put me thru the emotional ride of nezuko possibly burning to death so that tanjiro can go save the villagers. And yeah it was just soooo sad. And I loved her cute little voice after...OHAYO!!!! Lololol of course that would be the perfect first words for her to speak! Ahhhhhh yeah it was just perfect. I'm not really used to short fight scenes cuz I watch OP (fight scenes takes months and never end lol) so it's interesting to watch DS and see resolved fights happen and still be satisfying at the same time. I loved it. I'm so glad the last episode was longer than normal too; that was a plus. The worst part now is waiting lol but yeah it was a perfect arc I would say...and since I've read the manga I can promise you, it only gets better from here!!

Everything on this episode was amazing the music, animation, ending, story, voice acting everything. The scene when tanjiro breaks down bcs of nezukos "death" was perfectly adapted and the plot twist with nezuko conquering the sun too. Waltz flash and tanjiro using thunder breathing was also amazing and the animation was so good for those scenes. The only not so good part of this episode was hantengus backstory ( kind of it wasnt that long to be called a backstory) and in my opinion it should've been left out because it wasnt that good and no one honestly cares abt it. Muzans backstory in the other hand was amazing and it finally tells us why muzan wanted the blue spider lily that much. The ending was amazingly to be an anime only scene and i cant wait for the next season to come.

Everyone knows the animation, bonds, and battles are satisfying to watch. What is underestimated is Ufotable's ability to improve on certain aspects of the manga to better fill in the important points of the story the author is trying to share. The theme of passing things to the next generation is one of the most important.

This final for the Swordsmith Village Arc was so well done. I thought the scene where Nezuko kicked Tanjiro away was one of the most emotional moments in the story. I know it brought me to tears reading the manga, which rarely happens for me.

I have zero doubts that the final two arcs will be adapted without losing any quality. Some of my favorite themes of this story take place in the next two Arcs, and everything begins to tie together around the important life messages the author is sharing.

10/10 for me.

Why does it seem like #6 Upper moon si stranger than #4 and #5? Shouldn't ve the other way around? In the previous arc you see the inmense difference in power of the hashira Tengen over tanjiro or zenitsu, but in here tanjiro somehow and without any help, he decapitates the #4 Upper rank Demon twice, and tokito effortless decapitates the #5? I know he has the mark but either way it's pretty uninteresting and very disappointing how they handle their defeats, i was pretty escited about this arc because #4 and #5 Upper rank Demon were gonna show up, but they were very disappointing, and the ending was so obvius, like if they kill nezuko come on who believe that? And now she doesnt get afrected by the sun, so good that came deus ex mach... sorry the evolution ir whatever excuse they tell us.

Demon Slayer was the best Anime I had ever seen and up until this last episode I had been on the edge of my seat, but here is the big but: HOW DO YOU JUSTIFY TANJIRO ABANDONING NEZUKO?

Nezuko has been his sole reasoning for becoming a demon slayer, and the biggest reason for him to keep being a demon slayer yet while she is dying he just leaves her to save three random humans? He saves no one important, no one we've even met, just three random people. I'm sorry but that is terrible writing, there were many other ways to show Nezuko is resistant to the sun without having Tanjiro having to abandon her. The demon could kick Nezuko across the field towards the sun, over a hill and away from Tanjiro letting him watch her burn in the sun unable to do anything, left with the thought of Nezuko dead he would focus on the demon and kill him only to find out she is okay later on. There is one perfectly acceptable choice the writer could have made that I just came up with off the top of my head that doesn't destroy the character development up to this point. Nezuko is obviously not that important to Tanjiro if he cares more about random people over her. This has left such a bad taste in my mouth and I don't understand how this is not upsetting more people.

Omg,this episode is a masterpiece i didn't feel the time at all.

The story is simple yet full of emotions and memorable characters that you can't hate at all especially tokito the mist hachira and kanroji the love hachira and with the surprise of nezuko at the end.

The animation is a masterpiece that should make others jealous, the colors the pacing even the little cgi scenes were well made,the music of the opening slaps so hard you can't not add to your playlist ,the ost and the music at the episode 11 was so emotional i cried with tanjiro even i don't get too emotional often but they got me there so 10/10 nothing to say else it's a feast for your eyes and ears.

He also needs flashbacks to know if she has enough value to him. What the **** !

Anyway, why did Nezuko not run, why are the others not helping, why does Tanjiro not have like an emergency blanket or something.

Whats the rush to kill that demon anyway? He is very weak, headless etc.

Why are the people ,who forge the best katanas in the world, not able the defend themselves against the weakest enemy? And why are they there anyway?

So many questions this season and especially this episode. Not to mention it feels off, the characters are lame and so is the plot.

Tanjiro if Nezuko died: Yeee i defeated another demon. Shame that Nezuko died, at least i dont have to carry that box anymore. Anyway, whats my next mission ?
