"Where is that money, Piotrek?" We're proud to exclusively debut an award-winning short film online, titled Everything Will Be Nice, or Wszystko Bedzie Fajnie in Polish. This short, directed by and starring Polish actor/filmmaker Jan Kutrzeba, touches on immigration, love, trust, poverty, and loneliness. It was made out of love by a handful of immigrant filmmakers and two talented Polish actors living in New York. Kutrzeba "wanted to share the story of what it's truly like for immigrants trying to make it to the next day in the city, surviving solely on the love the characters share with each other." It was shot and it's presented as one long, single-take involving a Polish couple arguing at the morning in their apartment in the city. This is an impressive short, that played at a number of film festivals last year. It's worth taking a moment to watch. Official description for...

The mother-daughter trio looked close as can be as they smiled and posed for photographers at the Tcl Chinese 6 Theatres where The Breadwinner, the upcoming animated film about a headstrong young girl in Afghanistan who disguises herself as a boy in order to provide for her family, was having its Los Angeles premiere. (Jolie served as a producer on the film.)

Much has changed over the last year in Angelina Jolie‘s life, but one thing has remained constant — her dedication to her children.
After filing for divorce from Brad Pitt on September 19, 2016, Jolie retreated from the spotlight to focus on her family as they work to heal from the traumatic split.
“I have had my ups and downs. I guess I am a little bit stronger,” the actress, director and philanthropist tells People exclusively in an interview for the magazine’s new cover story. “We all have our difficult times, but as a mother you also have a responsibility first and foremost towards the kids.

For a group of con men and a descendant of Van Helsing, robbing Dracula's castle could be the score they need to be set for life, but things get complicated when vampires stand in their way of a big payday in Stephan Franck's graphic novel series Silver. With Dark Planet Comics launching a Kickstarter campaign for Silver Volume 3, we had the chance to catch up with Franck for our latest Q&A feature to discuss the influences of Bram Stoker's Dracula on his work, what readers can expect to see in Volume 3, and much more.

Everything will be different when The Flash returns for season three in October—but as far as Barry Allen is concerned, life is beautiful. "He's over the moon at the moment because his dream came true. He's living with his parents and he gets to see them every day," executive producer Aaron Helbing tells E! News of our hero's mindset in the season opener, "Flashpoint." But by going back in time in the season two finale, Barry (Grant Gustin) has completely reset the timeline—which means that his actions affected everyone, not just himself. We spoke with Ep team Aaron and Todd Helbing about what other changes we'll notice as the Flashpoint storyline plays out. Warns...

Did you hear all those panicked screams yesterday? The cold yells of people feeling their hopes dashed before their very eyes?
Yes, yesterday New York Comic Con announced that they were once again altering their ticket sales process. This changes nearly every year (just like DC’s logo!), so every time it happens it shouldn’t be a surprise… but it always is. The big steps are always taken to help the ever-growing hordes to buy tickets and make sure that they don’t game the system.
The newest hoop is the addition of fan verification for anyone who could potentially buy a Nycc ticket. What it really boils down to is this is just Nycc having everyone register on the Nycc website in advance. So if I and my three friends want to go, we need to pre-register. The other change is there will no longer be any VIP...

Censorship rules are about to change in our country. Producers would no longer have to queue up at the Cbfc (Censor Board Of Film Certification) office to get their films cleared on time for release. The long-in-the-pipeline process of online censorship is ready to take off. Reliable sources at the Cbfc inform that the process of commencing online censorship has already started. "All the formalities have already been gone through. Now this week portals have been invited to issue tenders for taking up the responsibility of hosting internet censorship. We will be starting online certification within the next three months," says the source. When quizzed about online censorship Rajyvardhan Rathore the Minister For Information & Broadcasting had commented, "We want to create as much transparency in our working as possible. I have heard of some of our regional members in the censor board flaunting their visiting cards and misusing their authority.

Written by Nick Abadzis | Art by Elena Casagrande | Published by Titan Comics | Format: Paperback, 32pp
Ah, the Tenth Doctor, a title I really want to like a lot more than I do. I am enjoying all the Titan Doctor Who books to varying degrees, but this one has been at the lower end of the spectrum. Some of Nick Abadzis’s stories have been a little too simplistic for my taste, and couple that with the very cartoony art, you have an essentially all-ages style book aimed at an older market. This issue starts a new story arc, so my phasers are set to ‘try and give this the benefit of the doubt’.
After the hectic madness of the Mr. Ebonite/ Earth’s prehistory arc, The Doctor, companion Gabby and Gabby’s friend Cindy decide they need a quiet break to clear their minds. They choose London, so of course...

December 11 promises to be a red-letter day for censorship in Indian cinema. This is when the Censor Board Of Film Certification (Cbfc) will meet film producers from Mumbai and other parts of country to discuss the practical issues pertaining to the conversion of film certification to an online process.
The proposal to covert from across-the-counter certification to online has been in the pipeline for over a year now. It's now time to take the issue into the realm of reality. On December 11, Pahlaj Nihalani the chairperson of the Cbfc has invited producers for a meeting to thresh out the dynamics of the conversion from physical queues to online functioning.
Says a source from the Cbfc, "Once online certification starts there will be absolute transparency in the process of certification. Everything will be done on the internet. Producers will apply for a date for the certification of their films and will...

Frank Miller’s seminal Batman series has been cited as an influence for Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice. But how?
This article contains spoilers for The Dark Knight Returns comic book, and possibly - although we're not sure - for Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice.
“I want you to remember, Clark…in all the years to come…in your most private moments…I want you to remember…my hand…at your throat…I want…you to remember…the one man who beat you.”
That’s the quote from Frank Miller’s The Dark Knight Returns comic book series that was used to introduce the concept of Zack Snyder’s Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice back in the summer of 2013. Specifically, the quote comes towards the end of the series, where a big bust-up between DC’s finest heroes comes to a head.

After seven weeks in a medically-induced coma, Bobbi Kristina Brown’s family may be moving her from Emory University Hospital to an undisclosed rehabilitation facility in Atlanta, two sources close to the family told Et.
The family is hoping for improvements in Bobbi Kristina's condition, a source said, but she remains in a coma.

As the days come and go, doctors aren’t hopeful about Bobbi Kristina Brown's prognosis, but her family has a whole different take on the situation.
Shayne Brown, Bobbi’s cousin, told “Entertainment Tonight” he’s convinced that Miss Brown is “getting better. She’s progressing. Krissy will be good. Everything will be alright.” He also asks that everyone “continue to pray” for her speedy recovery.
Furthermore, Shayne’s mother ( Bobby Brown’s sister) Tina said that she can see Bobbi and the whole family partying “on the Fiji Islands, something, on the beach.” Brown’s physicians, however, maintain that it will take “a miracle” for her to begin breathing on her own.

One of the best events of the year, the annual Oscar Nominees Luncheon ran nearly three hours today at the Beverly Hilton. But it looked to me that no one wanted to leave when it ended. The mingling factor here, both during cocktail hour and when it was done, was epidemic. Next to the AFI Awards Luncheon, this is the one event surrounding the awards-season circus that actually is civilized and where everyone is a winner. More than 150 nominees from sound editors to superstars were democratically spread throughout the Hilton’s large ballroom as the Oscar show’s marketing slogan — “Imagine What’s Possible” — for the February 22 ABC broadcast was flashed on large screens over the stage. You have to think that that these contenders believe anything is possible, and just in case, they’d better start working on those 45-second acceptance speeches. If I had to pick my favorite novel of all time, it would probably be "1984". I, like most people, picked up George Orwell's tale of a totalitarian government in high school, and I was hooked from the famous opening line: It was a bright cold day in April, and the clocks were striking thirteen. If that does not get you hooked, I don't know what can. Orwell's view on a state of constant surveillance is so specific that the two previous film adaptations, Michael Anderson's in 1956 and Michael Radford's in 1984 (starring John Hurt), have struggled to fully capture it. They are not terrible movies, by any means, but they are working with such a dense, patient source material I think is very difficult to translate. amz asin="0451524934" size="small"Well, Big Brother is going to get another chance to scare people on the big screen. Rivers Cuomo is not kidding when he raps. “I’m just trying to make something I think is amazing,” the Weezer front man says of his efforts in oft-misunderstood efforts like “Can’t Stop Partying” and “The Greatest Man That Ever Lived.” “When people are shocked or offended, I’m surprised — because I think it’s great. From the day we put out Pinkerton, this is my fate. It turns out that, as an artist, I have a genuine passion for things that can ruffle the feathers of the audience.” These days, every new Weezer album is compared to the band’s two ‘90s classics, their self-titled debut (a.k.a. the Blue Album) and Pinkerton. Kwan Finds Tradition and Trasfiguration in Chinatown
No major city is without a Chinatown, each with its own cast of colorful characters, their shops stocked with traditional oriental goods, all hocked through old school methods where nearly everything is negotiable. But as times change and the original immigrant populations die out and are replaced by youth uninterested in their parents’ time-honored means of living, many of these communities are in a state of rapid transformation. Nearly a decade after Julia Kwan’s debut, Eve and the Fire Horse, took home the Special Jury Prize from Sundance, the director has taken to the streets of her hometown’s own Chinatown in Vancouver. As it turns out, the situation there is no different, its lingering shops hang in the balance as elders reach their 80s and 90s, young entrepreneurs reinvent recently closed up storefronts, big business outsiders reap the benefits of cheap...
