This episode had me furious bruh, Polly should had let Tommy handle it
Neptune16520 June 2023
Warning: Spoilers
I've always thought that the cold reception Michael gives his mother when he is released comes from a mixture of disappointment that she clearly didn't have faith that Tommy would be able to sort out the situation himself and probably a little bit of shame that she degraded herself in that way for him. On top of that, we don't know what he went through in the cells. Finding out about what his mother did from the guards certainly wouldn't of helped him look at. It favourably either. Campbell was building up his sense of superiority throughout this whole episode. He had his way through the Home Secretary, he had Arthur and Micheal arrested, and sexually abused Polly. He felt unstoppable and that there was nothing Tommy could do to break his "victory" over him. It took one phone call to put him back in his place. It's been a while since I felt such satisfaction from watching a vile antagonist like Campbell have his ego shatter so quickly.

Exceptional casting and story lines

Character Character Character .. This is what makes a series in my opinion. Many thanks to BBC productions first and foremost .Anyone who took an instant liking to the Sopranos for more than gratuitous violence will agree, it's the contributions of the best and colourful personalities that makes a series memorable. Historically rich and at once intriguing, I found each episode more and more captivating, bringing the boldest of each sect in post WW1 England to a head, including and at most the Shelby clan. Again Netflix has grasped what it's customers value in entertainment essentially beyond the juvenile flare of Hollywood and its endless gusts of flash and hoopla best suited to teenage audiences. In this case I label PB Completely fearless and primitive, leaps beyond anything else I couldn't get enough.

Setting the stage well for the finale
Abdulxoxo16 September 2022
Warning: Spoilers
This episode sees the Peaky blinders at their rock bottom. It's the first time we see Tommy doesn't have a control of a situation. And inspector Campbell finally gets the upper hand. The rivalry between him and Tommy has reached a new heights and it's glorious. The episode also sees the return of Grace, who I thought was terribly out-of-place this season. Her place in the story doesn't feel organic as the last season and they have back only to feature her in some potential love triangle? She deserves better. Overall, my favorite part of the episode is inspector Campbell and his dominance of the Peaky blinders, which I assume it will short-live, nevertheless I doesn't take away my excitement. Hope the finale will be amazing.

Slow and strange
Chandelier-4957910 August 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I really like the show so far however i find Tommy acting very strange in this episode. With most of his business closed down, his goods taken, warehouses locked, betrayal, allies turned enemies and family members being apprehended Tommy still has time to worry about training a racehorse in the middle of nowhere and making out with the lady there and time to rekindle an old flame, Grace.

I was expecting this guy to fight tooth and nail to get back what he has and strike at his enemies that him cornered.

Overated episode , 8.8/10 guys ?

No in this episode not a lot happened except Grace come back ( it was a very dissapointed come back) This episode really set up the finale, but so nothing really happen, just a solid acting and directing no doubt about it, thats why I give it 7/10 ( Best episode of Season 2 so far is number 3 ) PS: John just look like a tenn , i cannot take him seriously , he look like a 16 years old.

Oh Polly
Calicodreamin26 November 2021
This episode was mainly dedicated to getting ready for the battle royale of the season finale, but still some good things going on. Tommy surprisingly finds himself in a love triangle and Polly goes off the rails.
