Nice, off course, but the bird versus porridge , the simple soldat seeming more clever than it is in fact, reminding the old stories about wise Russian paysans are good points . For a simple, nice, absurde story.

from many others. wise, seductive, simple. a soldier, a duty, a travel, two meetings and a solution. nothing special. but beautiful for its virtue because it is a nice mixture of Russian folklore and animation. like many fairy tales - only remember about the poor wise man and his original solutions, about the search of the key for problem's solution, inspired music and delicate drawing. and a character who remains in memory like a kind of oasis. nothing new, nothing special. only a Russian story. about a soldier, a duty and a bird. all in the flavor of wise lesson about life and about its solutions. maybe, only a parable. like many others fairy tales, in Russian style.
