Heartbreaking

Warning: Spoilers
Now that I've seen all seasons I can pick this episode as the one which made me cry the most. Not the shooting, not Meredith's many issues, not George's death, not even Derek's, but Samuel Norbert Avery's.

And I'm not a fan of Japril at all, actually I found Kepner annoying from the very beginning.

I confess my first thought was "there, another pregnancy going wrong, why can't any doctor have a quiet, calm and unfazed childbirth in this hospital!". But hey, this is GA after all.

I loved the candles' breaks, I loved Catherine's return (I have a thing about this strong stubborn woman!).

I loved the baptism. No question.

April's "he squeezed my hand. And then he let go" really REALLY broke my heart.

Damn!

One of the greatest episodes of this series

Warning: Spoilers
This episode is one of the greatest from the series. It is emotional, rational and powerful and presents the crisis of 2 people with different beliefs and religions.I really liked the idea of a family presented from 2 sides. A couple how tries for several years and finally gave up hoping but..miracles happen. A couple how already has a baby but goes through a difficult decision. There is also the reaction and acting of a person who has also been through hard moments and experienced difficult situations. And finally there is the couple who doesn't get to fulfill their wishes as a family. It is the first time when the religious aspect dominates the episode. Everybody believes in miracles and they can happen.

Top 5 best episodes to date. - SPOILERS.

Warning: Spoilers
When spoilers are coming I will say. Great episode. Dealing with April Kepner (the best character imo) who is trying to stay positive even though her baby's life looks bad. With Jackson staying positive with her yet more realistic. It develops both of them in a great way, along with multiple other doctors. They stay supportive and all are very nice. They light candles for them which starts with a few until every candle is lit at the ends. Even the people who don't believe are praying for them, (such as Jackson) and stayed supportive. SPOILERS - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - and in the end the praying failed with one of the most emotional quotes ever "He squeezed my finger... And then he let go..." Which EVEN if you HATE April (which I don't. I love her) or Jackson (who I do hate) you feel bad for them. No one deserves that. And especially not April. ACTING - 10/10 Plot - 10/10 Ending - 9.5/10 (it was too sad) Writing - 10/10

Not an episode you want but an episode you need

Warning: Spoilers
How can we bear unbearable situations, how can we be able let go a newborn child? What can we do to help? Even talking about these seem impossibly hard. Yet, this episode does it all with heart-wrenching story-telling.

We might use plenty of tissues in the process but it'll help us to be more empathetic, when there is nothing else to do.
