The New Partnership

Eph and Dutch explain to Quinlan how the vampires communicate with each other. Eph needs the Flight 753 black box to get the Master´s voice and disrupt his communication and they decides to go to the JFK Airport. Fet and Setrakian are driving to a pawnshop nearby the apartment of Fet´s father and he decides to visit his parents to see if they are still alive, but they find they dead. Then they go to the pawnshop and explode the safe to get silver. Palmer learns that that the ship has arrived to New York. He goes to the harbor with his security team but is forced to return to his office without speaking with the captain. Eph, Dutch and Quinlan find the black box and leave the airport. Setrakian meets Palmer and they team-up and Palmer receives a dose of white from Setrakian.

"Collaborators" is an episode with no surprises and reasonable action. Now Setrakian and Palmer will be partners and the Master may be surprised by his betrayal. Fortunately the annoying Zach does not participate of this episode. My vote is eight.

Palmer Gets the White [8.8/10]

Warning: Spoilers
Reaction / Review for The Strain Season 3 Episode 7 ''Collaborators'' (S3. E7): Episode 6 was good and I gave it a rating 8/10. Will the hand of Eichorst grow back? What happened to Fet's parents is really sad but at least they didn't have to become strigoi. Nice to see that Palmer is sick, he deserves it. Seems like Setrakian is searching for more silver, makes sense. Quinlan being bad-ass as always. Wow, Fet's grandfather used to work for Eichorst? What a twist! I would never expect that. I wonder what is that cargo. And Palmer got the white he wanted so much. Overall a great episode, my rating is... 8.8/10.

Out of ideas, offensive instead - will not miss this show

Warning: Spoilers
I did not like the Nazi/WWII-stuff from the first episode, but now it is getting ridiculous, is this a vampire show or a War show with the means of bashing the German people once again (on grounds of almost ancient history). If non white people are allowed to protest against discrimination (on grounds of being a big part of the American society and general decency towards other people), the German-based Americans and Germans have the same right. If you are white or not, discrimination is a bad thing and Germans, too, can feel offended by being falsely bashed and disparaged all the time, just because authors are lazy and lacking creativity to come up with something else. Not only is it a reckless, wrong and mean thing to offend people who had nothing to do with all this, it is also ungrateful since the German country has been sponsoring the US film industry with vast amounts. Many of these offensive shows and movies could not have been made without the German promotion/money - and this is how you repay. Disgusting, unfair, soulless, evil. Anyway, no wonder that this show is doomed for being so unoriginal. I would have enjoyed many more seasons of the vampire action, but if the show creators now have to resort to disgusting torture and experimental scenes (yes, the fancy doctor Ephraim is doing evil experiments himself, and nobody deserves any kind of torture - the inglorious bastards are not better than their victims if they behave like monsters themselves - what would Gandhi say?!) and overcome war stuff for lack of better ideas, I can easily live without the show continuing. Everybody has the same rights, otherwise a cry for equality does not work. Discrimination and equality both are not a one-way street.
