The end is coming and the second to last show goes a long way to setting up the final showdown with Walt and Malachi. Great acting and character development.

Warning: Spoilers
I only recently started watching this terrific series. I will start by saying I am a super-annuated hippie woman who was primarily a city dweller all my life. As such I shied away from this near (or modern) western. So I was pleasantly surprised by the intelligence of the series.
Having made it through all but the final episode I just joined IMDb for the sake of writing a review. My tastes run to British (ie, BritBox, Acorn) mysteries and have to say fans of that genre will NOT be disappointed by watching this series. And this particular episode really made me see Vic's performance in the Challenge as a thumbnail for her entire character - meeting challenges and not giving up. Walt, Vic, Ferg and Henry are all noble characters in their own way and the final scene sort of sums it up beautifully.
And p.s., another reviewer took Walt to task for calling a mare "he". I may be a city slicker, but looking at 30:30 I would say definitely NOT a mare... I'm guessing gelding 😃

Waste of an Episode

While I suppose Vic's personal life is important, we were steaming toward a conclusion. I realize the the FBI comes into play too, but it's as if they needed to fill a space so they would have 10 episodes. Walt has important information and now we wait to see how it all plays out. Boy, it's interesting that I'm the only one writing a review, at this juncture. Cute ending doesn't do the series justice.
