fatherhood
Kirpianuscus1 June 2018
A special film. for theme. for story. for dialogues. for the simplicity serving, in admirable way, the delicate subject of parenthood. a gay couple. a young man. and a baby. and a short dialogue after a desperate gesture. the film seduce more for what it suggest. and that did it a sort of touching pledge for life. yes, the performances are reduced at sketch level. but that is one of virtues of short film in which the need of love, the fear, the love itself are basic ingredients for a clear and almost objective perspective about not the most comfortable aspect of fatherhood. the film has not the desire to be political correct. or to be a manifesto of a cause. it is real good for the art to propose questions. for the science to remind social aspects. and that transforms it in a must see.
