Don't get your hopes up
talhaahmad-2996918 November 2017
ShoMan is back but his movie doesn't match the standards set by his previous movies. Mahira Khan was fantastic with the role of Sara. She acted like a total badass as the script required. The role of Sultan played by Zarar Khan is top notch, he captures the essence of the character perfectly. Haroon Shahid was okay but his character could have been a lot more. The acting by other secondary characters(parents of Sara and Aami) wasn't up to par, their acting in some scenes was laughable. Shoaib Mansoor had a strong topic in rape but he didn't execute it well. Character development was zero for a 155 minutes movie, the characters basically stay the same throughout the movie except Aami which too looks forced. The movie seemed prolonged, adding bits which were unneeded. The good bit was the somewhat accurate portrayal of problems faced by rape victims from family, police and court and Mahira Khan. I had high hopes for this movie, but the script which started good turns into a desi movie crap (lots of songs, sheer stupidity by characters, substandard acting, unfair vengeance).

Don't believe in these desi reviewers.
PakistanFilmUpdates23 August 2018
This explorers deep in human emotions, when they are pushed to their limit and do anything for justice, revenge and hate. Humans always had been strange in ways to do desperate things. Probably why the film is having mix reviews, is because people are not use to watching films like theses about the deeper, emotional minds of people.

Must be Seen , Even with flaws.
mehdi_assad18 November 2017
After single handedly resurrecting Pakistani Cinema , Shoaib Mansoor returned again with a film based on a topic that strongly needed discussion i.e RAPE ,the films starts with a disclaimer that this film is based on pure fiction as reality is unbearable ,and i believe this to be true with a subject so taboo and difficult to talk about that its difficult to make a film on that is engaging, but i think that he succeeded in making this kind of film , that do leave a a lot of questions in one's mind.Direction was spot on Mahira Khan and Zarrar Khan did an excellent job along with the supporting cast ,music and songs were rightly placed , the only issue i have got is with the story,it was good but could have been much tighter. These kind of films need to succeed as they serve a purpose and everyone should support it by watching it.

Hard to relate to Sara
nitin-blue20 November 2017
Verna is the first Pakistani movie I have seen in cinema. I made the effort because I respect Shoaib Mansoor directorial style. Bol is one of my all time favourite film and Khuda Ke Liye was great. It takes courage, flair and ingenuity to hold a mirror up to the society and make it entertaining as well.

Verna did not meet my expectations. If Bol is 10 and KKL 8, Verna is only 5. I would still recommend people to watch it, as ShoMan's 5 is a 15 as compared to other directors.

Haroon Shahid is seriously miscast as the husband. The role requires a lot more shades than he is capable of. Pitching an actor in his first role against Mahira Khan does a disservice to both of them. Zarrar Khan is perfect as Sultan. He is charming and scary in turns. Naimal Khawar is given nothing to do. Rasheed Naz and the woman vakil are a bit too over the top in their dramatics.

The main problem with Verna is that it is hard to relate to Sara and her choices. Instead of brave, she comes across as a stubborn and privileged woman, who has complete disregard for the impact her decisions has on everyone around her. The last act of Verna feels more like from a Bond movie than something that can happen in reality.

I guess Pakistan filmmakers are bound by social & political restrictions on what can be shown, but Shoaib Mansoor must be held responsible that Verna is a lot less hard hitting than his previous films.

Final - Despite the flaws, still worth watching. Some TV serials these days are more gripping.

Women must rise and put an end to this inequality
lethal_smile6 December 2017
05/12/17

I got home after a hectic day at work, I had been planning to watch this film since it was released, been asking my pakistani friends to go with me, some of them even haven't heard of it and mostly I get asked this question "is it Indian"? or "who's in it" and after my reply, the reply I get from them "oh" and then I would tell them it's from Shoman (Shoaib Mansoor) behind Khuda Ke Liye, Bol, man behind Alpha Bravo Charlie and Vital Signs. They were like OK, yeah can do it but again no one made proper planning but yesterday I told myself if that's the way it is then okay I will go by myself, Shoman don't make films that often and I haven't seen any of his previous films in the cinema.

I went to the theatre nearby Cineworld, under the impression it was Tuesday half price. I bought popcorn with a drink for £5 and hoping ticket would be £5-£6 but it was like £12 which I wasn't happy about. I walked into the screen, it was a small screen which I wasn't used to as last film I went to watch in cinemas was latest Kingsman: The golden circle and Dunkirk, there were Pakistani families women with head covered probably, young couples, elderly couples, one sikh and more families.

Film started with good music especially lyrics but again it's an art to make good music with a message in it, music I haven't heard before in any of Shoman's films before, I was pleasantly surprised as it was quality. I wouldn't go in to too much details about the film but first of all, this film is for women, as me being a feminist I have always believed in equality as growing up in Pakistan I did see this unfair treatment towards women everywhere, example is one of my best friend whenever I went to visit him, he wouldn't let me in to his house unless his sisters hide from me and this was very common among my other friends, but then later he would go out with me for "poondi" (checking out girls) on shopping mall, universities, college vans etc, This is the sad male attitude in the society, women aren't allowed to do anything but man can do whatever he likes. Most common phrase you get to hear is "he is a man, he can do it". Film is regarding serious issues I could hear some man constantly laughing in the cinema during some serious scenes when character of Mahira Khan made some strong statement, elderly lady sitting in the row infront of me kept on rolling her eyes, I think people are not liking this film as you can see the character rebelling against her husband, rebelling against her parents, woman talking about sex openly and it's heart aching truth all of it as I have seen it happening around, all of it. People don't want women to be independent it's including parents, brothers and husbands. They want to control them.

What annoys me the most and it's not just Asian problem this attitude is worldwide as living in England from a very long time I have had the opportunity to meet people from all different backgrounds but I want to make this clear "WOMEN'S BODY IS THEIR PROPERTY, WHAT THEY DO WITH IT, IT'S THEIR CHOICE" you are no one to judge or to tell them what to do with it whether you are brother, husband, partner, father etc.

I have great respect for Shoman because his films are always original and you can actually hear him talking through the characters, he does not copy Hollywood unlike 95 percent of bollywood films and Hollywood copies whole world, situation we have in Pakistan at the moment it is critical, it hasn't been this bad and it's time for people to wake up. Film is about general male attitude towards female and mafia political leaders.

Not just the story, this film is very well made. It doesn't has big cast as it did in Bol and Khuda Ke liye. I nearly fell asleep watching WARR (still was a good film) in first half but this film is nearly 2 and half hour long but there wasn't any dull moment. It is equally entertaining. I have seen a lot of Pakistani films since Khuda Ke Liye, films are not like they used to be before bad acting, same story in every film, and poorly directed still there are some bollywood inspired films which aren't for me if you are typical stereotypical Asian male who thinks women are an object and they should be listening to men then don't go bother watching it but if you want to change the attitude then go watch it. If you are inspired by Bollywood and want to watch some "commercial film" then it's not your cup of tea, go and watch some film with Raj and Rahul.

I don't go to cinema that much as it's so pricey if I go I check the reviews first, I read a review first on some website called "Review it Pk or something" from some lady called Fatima ranting about it's a sad film, not commercial and etc etc. Genre is drama so it won't be comedy and what is commercial because there is no non sense dancing in the film. Don't listen to it, go watch it with an open mind and decide it yourself. I paid £12 for the ticket last night and I would say it worth every single penny. Shoman is without any doubt the best director in South Asia and for the record I am a man.

Somethings are worth fighting for.
aurangzab200518 March 2021
Verna is an intense verdict of the Gods on earth and power hungry society, it truely depict the old proverb " jiski laathi uski bhains". This movie scars your soul from the bitter truth around you. It defines the VIP culture and if one takes a stand how the feudal lords and earthly gods can assassinate your soul and self respect and in matter need also your life.

Praises to Shoaib Mansoor as he always picks up reality based topics to potray our culture and its associated issues. Indeed the topic of rape in our eastern society is very sensitive and post event circulstances are unexplainably hurtful for the victim and family. But the truch is that we have adopted such a narrow mind set basically from the hindus which is indoctrinated in our soul like many other elements from birth to death i.e our wedding events, our births and deaths and image of widows and rape victims. The way Shoaib directed the movie is fabulous. I believe no one could have done the leading lady role better then Mahira khan in our industry. She acted very well and deserves applause. Same goes for Haroon shahid, even though it was the firat time i saw him, but indeed he did good. He could have shown alittle more insecure and angry at certain stages in movie but overall, he was good Role of Zarrar, he defined the what a the liniages of our so called rulers and the way they consider a common man more of a scum then human was astonishing, i liked his acting alot. Music could have been alot better keeping in mind the brillian music of Khuda ke liye and soulfull main theme of bol. Keeping in mind our industry, such films when complete there twnure in cinemas, should be shown on TV and should be available on stream medias; as it is impossible to search them and watch them. I must say its a definite watch for any person of our middle class society to express them that at times in life, one must take a stand because somethings are worth fighting for.

Excellent

Verna is one of the best films made in Pakistan. It is bold, intriguing and full of emotions. The film raises some important questions in the society related to politics and men. The film is surely a cinematic brilliance and it needs to be seen by every Pakistani. Shoaib Mansoor has given us another masterpiece after Khuda Kay Liye and Bol. And of course Mahira Khan is best as usual. So, overall, this film is a MUST watch.

A Huge disappointment from a duo it was never expected but
m-8296219 November 2019
Warning: Spoilers
There is a scene in the film where Sara beats the hell out of Aami when he hits her and you begin to get excited but in the next scene there is utter confusion maybe because of choppy editing or a clear script and the film lets you down. The tragedy with Verna is that it is not able to sustain for long because in one scene it gets right at you but in the next it disappoints because there is nothing that goes in favour of the film Shoaib Mansoor has always been known for his strong direction that hits you right in the heart. He is one of the very few directors who know what to show and how to show it but in Verna he fails big time because he knows what to show but seems incapable in deciding how to show and in reality there is hardly any direction in the film and to be honest Mansoor's direction in the film is weak as it's hard to believe that he is the same who directed and wrote both Bol and Khuda Kay Liye. The fact I mention writing is because the script is mediocre riddled with a lot of loopholes .While Mansoor does make some points especially in the court scenes but he showed rape without sensitivity and it's hard to relate to Sara and here lies the main flaw of the film. The script didn't allow the audience to feel for the character because instead of coming off as headstrong Sara comes off as a stubborn whose decisions seem childish but here I would like Mansoor to take a bow for finally writing a character which is free from the clutches of stereotypes but lacks development and to make the matters worse the dialogues in the film are weak and this the major disappointment because Mansoor has always been known for his hard hitting dialogues. Even the dialogues which are strong go unnoticed because of the cast which barely knew how to act. The acting department of the film is weak. All the supporting cast except Zarrar Khan disappointed big time. However Mahira as always owns her own in the film. She is successful in portrayal of Sara but almost, not completely, because of the shoddy script which failed her big time because due to a weak script even a performer like Mahira couldn't give her 100 percent. And now I come to script's biggest weakness and that was its portrayal of Aami whose character was the poorest in the film Sighs. Haroon Shahid literally needs some acting classes because even his intense scenes left audience in giggles. Shoaib Mansoor has disappointed big time and all the failure of the film lays on his shoulders because every department in the film is weak whether it's direction, dialogues, screenplay, soundtrack or acting. Technicalities never mattered for Mansoor film and here they are also weak. Veran does have its moments and its a must watch because of the messages in the film but unfortunately there are more misses than hits

It Will Stun You Beyond Belief
kshehzad19 November 2017
Rape is not about sexual pleasure. It is all about power which is practiced ruthlessly to eliminate freedom of an individual on whom it is applied. In societies like ours where understanding and discussion on forbidden topics are taken as taboos, a rape victim becomes liability and a slave of her or his own fears. This miserable situation is not less than a hell built by our own hands.

Depicting social ailment of rape on silver screen has always been a tricky trade but the way Shoaib Mansoor has shown in form of "Verna" is work of a genius. He has not shown anything but he has unraveled everything. He has not said anything but he has declared everything. Though Shoaib Mansoor slightly touched the sensitive issue of rape in his previous two installments "Khuda Kay Liye" and "Bol" but "Verna" is a blatant reality of existence of rape in our society muddled in dirty politics of elites of our time.

Beautiful Mahira Khan who was in and out of controversy lately not only emancipates but alleviates herself gorgeously with her intense portrayal of a rape victim Sara in "Verna". The kind of performance she has given in "Verna" can easily be compared with Jodie Foster's rape-drama of yesteryear "The Accused". Mahira Khan single-handedly propels the plot albeit Shoaib Mansoor's imagination and input cannot be removed but her magnificent ability of reflecting words with believable emotions is extremely engaging and her main USP.

Debutant Haroon Shahid is surprising revelation. The way he has matched with the acting prowess of seasoned Mahira Khan in intense scenes, it does not feel "Verna" is his first acting assignment. Audience first sympathizes and then hates Haroon Shahid's volatile character as husband of Mahira Khan and this does not seem like a work of a first timer but a matured actor.

Zarrar Khan as powerful, flamboyant and moral-less son of feudal lord and Governor is a sort of character one will love to hate. In one of the scenes in which he orders his servant to drink glass of his mouth-gargled water is jaw dropping. Rasheed Naz as Zarrar Khan's lawyer is amusing and gives few moments of humor in an out and out intense drama like "Verna".

Others actors have done satisfactory job as required by director Shoaib Mansoor. Film's cinematography is phenomenal and gives picturesque quality in every scene. Songs are melodious but grim and do not feel like out of place even supports actual pacing of the film.

On the whole, "Verna" is gripping and hits like a solid punch with an unbelievable climax specially penultimate stages when Mahira Khan's father dies which literally gives Goosebumps. If this latest venture of Shoaib Mansoor is marketed well internationally and proper PR is done then it can emerge as worthy contender for Oscars in 2019. Watch "Verna" it will stun you beyond belief.

Strong topic, silly movie.
absahmed27 November 2017
The movie had a good topic, something to shout about but delivered a utterly silly plot hole ridden film. A message which got confused in the seemingly endless sub topics, I wish this film was grittier, darker and less imaginary than it was; so that it could connect with people on a deeper social level. This was just glossing over the real message so not to cause controversy, so much could have been done with the initial basic idea.

Shoaib Mansoor's previous two movies were better and actually tackled things head on and confidently made a statement, Verna in comparison was at best extremely watered down.

A little comical at times due to scenes and plots not being developed enough, for what was marked as a serious release.

Pakistani film making has to stop backtracking on things already explored and be smarter about what's being released, and how stories develop.

The focus has always been on the cast and what actor or actress is playing the lead etc. If the emphasis on the importance of which actors are cast is ignored then maybe things will progress.

Superb movie with a strong & hard hitting message
ravenouskhan23 November 2017
The central premise of the movie is to portray the wanton abuse of power by politicians and their grotesque misuse of state resources to silence their victims. The more publicized theme is pretty much a sub-plot of the core message which ironically has been fortified by the comical actions of the censor boards.

Does the movie have flaws? Of course it does but then no one can name a film without any.

The full marks from me are for the flawless, relevant and timely delivery of the film's core message which was very well executed.

Strong Message, Poorly Conveyed
zah_r19 November 2017
Shoaib Mansoor is not mine but around 90% of Pakistanies favorite, And why not, he worked almost in every field i.e. Entertainment like Alpha Bravo Charlie, and then highlighting the transgender's issues via BOL and Khuda Kailye against religious extremists.

When i first saw VERNA trailer, it felt good and I was pretty excited about the movie, but it was a disappointment.

Disappointed in a sense that we as the audience were expecting something more appealing from Shamon on HOT topics like rape and gender-inequality.

Family really enjoyed it! Ignore critics!
bibi-9492015 December 2017
Go watch this movie! It may have flaws but it's so entertaining that you honestly won't care! I went to see this movie recently with my family and we all enjoyed the movie a lot. The story is very unique and even though it's a mature topic, it was very gripping and kept us all at the edge of our seats. Although we did notice some flaws in the storyline, The way the story was very entertaining and turned out to surpass expectations. I cannot say that the acting was amazing and frankly I think there are other actresses who could've done a better job but the movie shed light on some very interesting issues and had a very strong message relating to woman empowerment and corruption. I honestly think it that it is one of the best Pakistani films and believe me, I've seen almost all of them!

A beautiful movie with a strong plot.
mhamzalatif-8468821 November 2017
Verna is a masterpiece by Shoaib Mansoor and Mahira has done equal justice to the role. A strong Plot with a strong message showing the realities. Its a must watch. For me, this is what is actually needed in a country like Pakistan to help promote awareness and like always, Shoaib Mansoor is the one doing Justice. I repeat its a must watch. Its a true depiction of relations in crisis and how one has to fight against this powerful culture of feudalism. 10/10 from my side.

flawed and inconsistent- My advice, wait for the DVD
mahamahmood21 November 2017
Warning: Spoilers
Whatever positive comment I might write, would be due to my bias towards Mr. Mansoor. To sum it up, this movie was the product of a muddled script which initially seemed to follow an appropriate route only to be strayed away from it later on in the film. Do not expect a 'Bol' or a 'Khuda Kay Liye'...this film cannot compete with their glory. It deals with the touchy topic of rape in a hypertensive country such as Pakistan in which this issue is extremely prevalent. In such cases, directors need to acknowledge that there must be no room for mistakes. Trust me; all the good dialogues were in the trailer and most of them you've probably heard in courtroom law movies and Pakistani dramas. In one instance she says the lines...'one I will not leave and the other I will not live with'...the latter was for her husband who she returns to immediately even after declaring she will not live with him. Most of the dialogues were just there for the dramatic effect, often serving no purpose. The movies' main theme, which I later calculated, was the idea that sometimes you have to take law in your hands. It all started with her heated encounter with the governor on his unwarranted action of blocking traffic and inducing 'protocol'. It triggers a nasty chain reaction in which his son kidnaps and rapes Mahira khan but later falls in love with her and attempts to pursue her. When she is returned, it is too late to establish she was raped hence she and her lawyer conjure up a plan to willingly go to the rapist again, spend the night there and rush to the clinic to get evidence right away. In an idealistic world, this might seem a bit weird, the heroine should be able to fight all odds, untouched and unblemished and not have to go back into the arms of her assailant. But this is Shoaib Mansoor, he writes realistic stories revolving social issues right? No. The movie states that in order for her to grasp justice, she must suffer again. Dare I say, it takes away and trivializes the trauma that actual rape victims go through-It often takes months and many years of psychological help to get over being kidnapped, tied and sexually assaulted. However, Sara's portrayal of a fearless victim is commendable and a breath of fresh air regardless of how poorly it was executed. In the end, she is unable to receive constitutional justice so she devises up a plan to kidnap the guy, use his phone to send a confession and then take him to her house where he will be killed by starvation (while the family enjoys a Hunza trip) and later on, cemented. How realistic is this? In a quest to be original, Mansoor drifts away from plot. In the end, it seemed more like a Horror/thriller/fantasy film rather than a social-problem film. Audience would rather have him exposed in front of the world in a magnificent and a more practical/realistic way. He DID receive a brutal punishment, it just seemed...incomplete.There was zero character development in the film. I am a woman and i left the cinema feeling indifferent towards Mahira. Instead of focusing on scenes of a troubled Haroon driving around in his red car, sitting by the fireplace, smoking a cigarette whilst feeling sad and dejected, the director should have focused on Mahira's ordeal but instead, much of screen time was wasted on what Haroon goes through, disregarding the entire essence of the movie- which is unveiling the victim's side of the story. Showing her exercise on the treadmill was not very substantial for the audience to emotionally connect with the character. In fact, during the first half the movie seemed to involve more around their marital affair as oppose to divulging into the abnormalities of society. Initially, Haroon is shown as a typical Pathan husband who indulges in victim blaming but miraculously after one advisory conversation with Mahira's lawyer (right after she tells him the plan which will take Mahira back to her assailant), his stance changes. The most imperative confrontation scene was missing- Mahira should have explained her rape ordeal and Haroon should have apologized and comforted her. This scene could've been a lesson for all the men watching. Instead, everything happened so quickly, one was left wondering whether the husband and wife are on good terms or not. Haroon's role comprised mostly of him frowning and mouthing one-letter words like 'What?!' 'Why?!' 'Where?!'…his lines could've been better written. The parents opposed Mahira till the end. Her father commits suicide in a twisted turn of events. Had he been killed, perhaps the audience would've sympathized with the situation more. It is uncanny to see a learned, rich, modern man who has raised his daughter as a strong-willed, independent working woman committing suicide when no premises or character development is established. Especially when the reason SEEMED to be Mahira's justified protest against her traumatic circumstance (still unclear why he really did it). It seemed like this part of the plot was forcibly inserted into the movie. They could've shown the parents as supportive but their characters were mindless, idle, which served no purpose whatsoever except paving way for the location where the rapist would be rested. (Her father was buried in the basement which was hidden by a noise-proof shelf. In the climax scene, Mahira takes her rapist to this very convenient secret location where he meets his fate) until the end, her mother indulges in victim- blaming and nothing is done about it. Mahiras character did not grasp my attention. She seemed hasty and quick-tempered. Where there was scope for acting in scenes involving aggression, she did okay but in simpler, mediocre scenes it was uncomfortable to watch her act. The closing scene mimicked political advertisements we see on Television (she advises the crowd to vote for the right people). All in all, a great disappointment

A thought provoking film
ali-usman37718 November 2017
This VIP protocol thing, this heavy-handed suppression of lower ones by those with higher authorities, this fear and lack of trust in the police who are supposed to make us feel protected (which is indeed a consequence of previously mentioned problem), and this misuse of power by our politicians, landlords and their beloved descendants. Why do we keep expecting things from the government like we depend on them when it's the other way round actually? Shoaeb Mansoor nailed it again with another controversial social issue. Mahira Khan was as stunning as always. "VERNA" is a must watch and a thought provoking film though it was quite feminazi at some points. Take a step to support our film industry and hit the cinemas...

Verna is BRILLIANT
imranvkhan18 November 2017
#MahiraKhan does complete Justice to the Shoaib Mansoor's Level of Writing and Direction. There are few actors around the world who could have played Sara in #Verna and #MahiraKhan has played it more than perfection. #Verna is one of the most hard hitting movies. #MahiraKhan gets full marks for her role in Verna. #Haroon #Zaraar were all excellent in their roles. #Naimal also did her part very well. Music of #Verna is decent and Support the movie quite well although it doesn't have the Magic of Bol with #AtifAslam and #HadiqaKiyani. Dialoques in #Verna are TopClass The Climax is something you wont expect and some of the twist are surprising..Go for it its running in your city

Verna - It could be better - Radicalism
shiraz-584452 December 2017
Warning: Spoilers
I would simply say that Pakistani Film Industry is producing fabulous movies. Shoaib Mansoor is my inspiration since I watch Ishq Nachaya and Ishq Mohabbat Apna Pan the famous music videos. I didn't watch Bol and Khuda Kay Liye though learned about these hits from my friends. Now let me come to point, I went to watch the movie with high curiosity and hopes. However the movie seemed to have lots of small pieces cut and glued together. I must say that cinematography was extraordinary as expected but the story and plot was way weaker.

Most of all the movie had a miss match of characters. As Sara and her husband. Then the parents of both families were like show pieces not doing anything and were helpless as hell. Pathan Family seemed to be subjugated with Islamabad norms. Mahira was good at her role but where does this happen "coming off the car and shouting at the executives". Then, no one stopped the girls while crossing the protocol line and gunman pointed the gun on the Aami...Wow Then the Park scene, no one was in the park and victims knew it. Aami proved to be a hell coward ... I would say "instead of making Aami a polio hit person. He could just be injured while fighting for safety of his wife and sister and then could limp". His music career was in the first few minutes and then it had nothing to do throughout the movie... all music gone. :( ....

It would take me long to explain how much the movie could improve and made way better than it is now... In short my rating is for the Acting, cinematography, songs (ONLY) no rating for story and plot... Disagreement is readers choice...

Thanks

Very good story, missing some bits
saadatirfan-244449 October 2020
One of the best Pakistani movie in recent years (ending was no doubt disappointing) with very strong and realistic story. Acting, especially from the lead actress was very decent. Another one of Shoaib Mansoor's unique and powerful work.

I wish there was a ZERO star review option

This movie will by far go as the absolute worst movie in the history of Pakistani cinema. From the beginning to the end, the plot is so unbelievably childish and ridiculous that many times I had to pause in agony to absorb the disappointment in the director/ writer. This theme of "Rape" in Pakistan could be so much more and could empower and uplift the victims in Pakistan. Instead, a demented disjointed plot came crashing down with absolutely no hope. The acting and direction are so terrible, a high school student could have done a better job. The dialogues and court scenes are so foolish I feel the director had a stroke when he wrote them. The movie is a horrible snooze and is a truly missed opportunity. May be the writer could have spoken to a one or two rape victims before bringing forth his own misconstrued version of their mindset, vulnerability and immense pain they go through, both men and women. Just a slap in the face of these poor victims and a terribly sickening movie. Complete BS, thousand thumbs down!!!

Verna is Mahira khan's best work
mashiatn4 April 2020
Verna shows Mahira's caliber as an actor and given the right script she can really impress! I loved every bit of Sarah's character, mostly because she should stood for what's right. Mahira needs to do more movies like this
