Wow! Simply beautiful!

What a seriously beautiful, well written and well directed short film by Joshua Cleave. Instantly drawing you in with a fantastic opening and some really wonderful music which very much adds to the quality and beauty of this masterpiece.

An excellent piece of work and a genius twist and way of making a short film powerful. The visuals in this film are simply stunning and those involved in this film must be extremely proud of what was achieved.

I hope this is the start of things to come for Joshua, a fantastic writer and director with a real eye for detail.

As my summary declares, Simply Beautiful!

Poignant and Lovely

A heart-warming film. The grief of the onlookers is entirely believable and the denouement though easy to anticipate is lovely and not overplayed. My first reaction was that the use of the soft focus was a little excessive but as the film progressed I revised this. Getting the effect of the protagonist passing the runner in the park was really well done.

Joshua Cleave does it again.

A very cute little tale. I can see this being adapted in to a much longer film, but this one captures the moment of grief that craves a return to a happier time very well.

Simple camera effects are used to flashback and although there is no dialogue, you can feel what is being felt by the characters through the acting and direction.
