Well.... it's a stinker. 3 stars for effort but this was some of the worst acting i've ever seen. It felt more like they were pretending to act, or like i was watching a rehearsal. The story doesn't make sense either. It's like the whole thing was written and filmed in the same week.

Ok...the acting form everyone was really not good.
I do like an airplane movie full of tension and mystery . This has that . I figured out who was responsible right from the start.
Passengers and crew disappear whenever the lights go out. You might want to go with them.
I saw Adam first!

Warning: Spoilers
We get a quick introduction of first-class passengers on a plane, plus the stewardesses. The plane has an eight-hour flight to London. Soon into the film one of the passengers simply vanishes as the lights flicker. And then another, and then another. Out of rational explanations, they opt of the supernatural. Air Marshall Adam Anderson (Michael Paré ) must figure out why death has come.
This is not the worst "Flying Dutchman" doom plane out there but the acting, especially the pilots, left a lot to be desired.
Guide: F-word. No sex or nudity.

Can't trust imdb ratings

The only way I can explain the high avg rating for this one, is that the imdb rating system is broken for when propaganda movies must have high ratings.
But this is not a propaganda movie. This is not a movie. This was an experiment to see who can get the worst acting in the history of acting.
You will never see worse acting in your life. No matter how many movies you will watch, there is a zero chance you will see so many bad actors in the same film.
Giving it one star because I liked the closing song.
Impossible to rate

This is the most incompetently produced, directed, acted and written movie I've ever ever seen. It is a mess from the camera work to the outrageous dialogue. Terrible terrible terrible but wow did I ever enjoy it! I haven't laughed this much in a long time. If I rated this movie based on technical competency then a ZERO. If I rated this in entertainment value then a TEN.
Worst Movie Ever!

One of the best "So bad it's good" films I've seen in a long while.
Every bad Cliche' is there with some of the worst dialogue and plot compromises I've ever seen....It's delicious.
Sit back and enjoy this ludicrously awful piece of tripe for what it is...I loved it.
Thought about giving it an ironic 9 but I don't think the creators would understand.

This is worse than garbage. The plane would have had an emergency landing after the first person disappeared. 90% of passengers disappeared and they act like nothing happened. WHAT?!?!? How does something like this get made?
Destined for Cult status because of it's overt Incompetency.

This had the feeling of a project that might have been produced by a bunch of friends who wanted to get together and make a movie. It appeared as if they had scouted the local college drama dept. And community theater groups for talent. Then needed a big name for star power and got that in Michael Pare from the cult classic Eddie and the Cruisers. At first Michael seemed to take the project seriously as reflected in his performance but when the film got to a certain point, it's as if he realized he was trapped in this awful film and his performance goes in every direction. My friends and I immediately started to laugh after getting a few minutes into the film and realizing that every single actors performance was abysmal. We continued to laugh all the way through to the end of the movie. It was delightfully brilliant in it's amateurism. Completely hilarious! So bad I actually believe it might aquire a cult following. I Loved It!!!
Bad but entertaining.

Some films are so bad they're good, some are just bad. This one is bad because it has poor acting, bad direction and no real ending or explanation. It also has almost every cliche in the book and some of the worst makeup I've ever seen, the two female fight attendants being the worst - one looks like a refugee from the Living Dead and the other looks like a clown. Despite these shortcomings, it was quite entertaining, so I've given it a slightly ironic 6.
So bad

One decent actor, the rest are awful! Script is mostly terrible too. Premise has promise, but this movie executes on it terribly. Don't fall for the high rating! Damn thing tricked me and I won't get my time back; don't make the same mistake.

Actually the actor Michael Pare, who in my opinion is very good, went to work in a production so bad as this, special effects of poor quality, besides the latex mask of the monster in which you find in any corner to buy! Michael Pare doesn't deserve this! My condolences
Terrible movie

Get ready for some high flying action!
shagee797722 September 2019
Director Massimiliano Cerchi and Writer Rod Smith bring the high flying action movie, "Mayday" to the screen.
A routine flight from Los Angeles to London, is nothing routine. Mysterious power outages on the plane make the passengers disappear!
An Air Marshal played by Hollywood Icon Michael Pare takes control and tries to find how to safely land and keep the remaining passengers safe!
Obnoxious passenger Smokey played by Scott Engrotti goes from zero to hero and helps solve the mystery with Michael Pare, that plagues this flight!
This ensemble cast reminds me of the great adventure disaster flicks of the 70's ...the Airport movies crossed with the Twilight Zone. It is such an original fun movie that leaves your breathless every time the lights flicker and then come on with another passenger gone.
By using a airplane for the setting you create a claustrophobic atmosphere. The make matters worse it is an overseas flight. There is no turning back and everyone starts fearing there going to die. Tempers flare, paranoia settles in and level headed people start losing it!
What happens and the conclusion will make your next flight a tense one and also your night after watching this!
The movie is beautifully shot as every shot is planned out and really tells the story with such depth and suspense you feel your in that plane! The way the camera pans done the aisles and shows the terror and fear, this is a well made professionally done movie!
Michael Pare proves he can still play the hero and is a pleasure to watch!
Scott Engrotti is making a name for himself as a go to actor to help save the day. He is plays such a great character and plays it with such depth. You not only find yourself your embracing his performance once again but really see what a great actor Scott is.
There is not one actor or actress that I can say did not tackle the roles with utmost professionalism.
I really felt the terror in there eyes and there delivering of lines.
Massimiliano did a great job directing from
Rod Smith witty story. Couldn't ask for a better Dou! Bravo on all involved, they took a subject that has been done, but put a neat twist that really worked.
A must see. Available on Amazon and everywhere, be sure to watch!
