The Punishment
claudio_carvalho25 February 2020
Bjorn finds that Hvitserk is the killer of Lagertha and decides to punish him. Ubbe decides to travel with Torvi and her daughter to Iceland with Kjetill Flatnose to find Floki. Oleg plans to invade the Norway.

"Valhalla Can Wait" is an episode where Bjorn will certainly regret the punishment of Hvitserk. What will Ubber find about Kjetill Flatnose and his community? My vote is seven.

Confused?
jav1135923 January 2020
Didn't they kill several of the raiding party? Seemed so. Why did King Harold have to ask what they looked like?

10's?
Tr-u-mpbilly23 January 2020
Cmon, man. No way was this episode a 10. There have been great episodes, but that was long ago. Season 6 has been better than 4 and 5, but this was the worst episode - it just felt disjointed and undefined. I'll be glad when the show ends. I'll watch it until then because it was so good in the beginning, I still hope for a return.

EntrEsprit23 January 2020
Guys stop rating episodes 10,before they even come out, don't be such fanboys ,also it concerns guys who rate it 1 before watching it.About this episode i can say that it has very few things that move plot forward that could be shown in 15 minutes or less, everything else is a filler, and come on showrunners please finish this Santa-Barbara of Bjorn's relationships, they are so far-fetched for a long time

amine-201023 January 2020
Quick review Alexander Ludwig (Bjorn) and his acting has changed a lot I really I didn't like him since he was a kid but now after his mom died he became my favorite why? His acting became astonishing and tough everything..all cast did a fantastic job . I don't know what's gonna happen next Last episode but we are definitely we going through to see a big war in next half episodes in November ..that seems Bjorn he going to lost a lot. Of his family

Finally the series moves forward after eternal hogging from Lagertha
mridul-dey0019 May 2020
Finally an episode to move plot forward, otherwise Lagertha's evercoming death, Hvitserk's drunk babbling and Ivar's eternal sitting around at King Olef was just hogging it. Finally Bjorn & co. the older people have all left and they are on their own in their separate ways. It should have come long time back. Keeping Lagertha so long hurt the series, didn't help Bjorn or Ivar. But it came too late, now they have to show everything just just in 12 episodes. Feel sad for the season. Lagertha should have died in her last battle with Ivar, where she lost. That would have moved the plot, gave her credible death and gave time to Bjorn to shine, now everything will be rushed.

Great storytelling of Vikings mith
amarti-7248612 February 2020
Seeing all 6 episodes of the series I can say it was fun, entertaining, exciting, and also the knowledge of a amazing civilization during those difficult years. I hope the series to continue for its 7 season. Lagatha will be missed more than Ragnar. She was amazing. I hated to see her die & the way she did Congrats to all who participated in this wonderful viking saga.

Poor Vikings and Bloodthirsty Russians (Slavs)
imitic31 January 2020
I used to love this TV series when it first came out. But after six seasons it became true pathetic bools...t and propaganda that marks this present age, the age we live in. Besides technical quality of the seasons and satisfactorily acting, the rest is sooo boring, already seen empty story.

And the peek of it all... Vikings - well known as fearsome warriors who plundered all over the Europe for centuries, suddenly become poor fishermen without weapon. And Slavs, compares to Romans, Germans, Nordic tribes etc., peaceful tribes, who had never adopted slavery system in their countries (just one fact), along with their ruler, they turn into wild savages who butcher poor Vikings...

But this kind of "western" propaganda factory is working for centuries and became too sad and boring. Unfortunately, still works because less and less people read books and is interesting in what is right and what's wrong. So sad...

The death toll gets nearer
namstonk31 January 2020
What can you say about this once decent show, yes it was never brilliant but at least an enjoyable 45 mins, now it's terrible lazy writing padded out with vfx. Dragging out the series for a few extra quid is pretty lousy, mind so is the next series along but ho heigh, if people are that daft then sobeit. I for one will not bother, good luck to the folks who risk it, I hope at least it has some actual factual stuff in it.

WORST VIKINGS EPISODES ever made in this TV show. Nothing important happens only fillers, and illogical events happening and pointless.

"I have lost three things" said Bjorn
dochito26 April 2022
-My mother, my son and the crown of Norway- Hello Bjorn!! Where you been when your daughter Siggy walked alone barefoot, hungry and dirty in the snow till she found her death? Have you ever thought what a disgrace of a father for her you been?! Did you even mention her once?? Bjorn: you are so disgusting and evil.

The 1 star goes to Bjorn. And that is even too much for him.

Subverting Expectations
baikers7 December 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Hvitserk goes back to Ivar... it definetely subverted my expectations, and it definetely was one of the worst ways I have ever seen it done.

Hvitserk, even before learning that Ivar killed Thora by burning her alive, had chosen to attack Ivar. After learning of Thoras death, being a drunk, he swears to kill Ivar, which could have been a great story..

Then, Hvitserk goes back to Ivar like nothing happened. The reason of Lagerthas murder becomes irrelevant. One of the worst decisions made storywise ever. Terrible.

Bjorn's constant crying doesn't help or progress anything further either. He says he has lost his mother, son and the crown of Norway. And it doesn't lead to any decisions, any story changing elements, just wasting time for the sake of sadness.

Bizzare, illogical and overall terrible choices made by the writers.

The sets, fights and acting are top notch, but it can't save this episode.
