An important film

While it's certainly not the in-depth exporation of the teenage cruelty fueled by the actual FOMO phenomenon, it's still a very interesting, realistic depiction of the new lost generation of the late 2010s.

The film brings up many topics, that would deserve a movie of their own (cyberbullying, physical bullying, the untouchable upper class elite, rape, youtube prank culture, lack of empathy, a youth without any substantial vision for the future etc.), but it doesn't really go in for any of them, which leaves a bit of empty space behind. They're all very relevant and imoprtant issues, but it's more of a mosaic of problems Hungary's upper middle class teenagers face in the capital, and no coherent exploration of the underlying causes.

However the film is extremely well made, the use of mobile and computer screens is clever, the more traditional shots are gorgeous, and the acting is superb. As far as I know, the kids were not professional actors, yet it doesn't show at all. Everything is very natural, from the dialogues to the body language, it's a rare thing when filmmakers manage to stay on the ground with youth-culture. Also, András Stohl, while his presence is brief, wasn't this good for many years.

The party scene was brilliant, I've felt all the emotions you could imagine, from fun to disgust, fear and rage.

It also could've run for another 15 mins. It would've been more beneficial to see the actual consequences of the main character's actions, but the ending was satisfying nontheless.

Misleading but fun

I think the first 20 minutes were really catching for me. I couldnt get my eyes off the screen and I got to understand their personalities really well. It was also a lot of fun and it was really well made. All of the party was really interesting, because I was afraid the whole time that something bad will happen. The next hour was slower and it was also good. Feeling the isolation of the main character.

Some things. I feel like the title has nothing to do with the movie and also there wasnt anything groundbraking or new in this movie. But it was good.

a portrait

A story about cruelty, showmanship, huge mistakes, profound cowardice of teens. A party, a provocation from friends, a rape. And the consequences. The realism of situation, the good acting of young actors, the poetic end are basic virtues of this cold and precise portrait of an age and society, in fair way.

The sotry line and the charachters ok, but pls fire the cameramen... I've never thinked, that i can get seasick from a film. I get the idea that they used "phones", but it makes the film very bad. Never again.

Horrible!

Warning: Spoilers
I would have been ok with these kids going around doing stupid pranks and this to be a comedy. But a lot of their so called jokes were just cruel and heartless!! What the director did in this movie took it to a level where no movie should have gone! The acting was ok, but IF you have ever been the victim of a sexual assault you should not watch this movie. It will only make you frustrated, upset, and sad! They actually tried to make this movie about the rapist and how he had it so hard after his actions.

This was like a how-to-guide on stalking and initiating your victim after you assault them. This movie really focused on wanting you to feel sad for this rapist who lied! Then ending up being the only owning up to his mess (But by then who cared how many times he said he was sorry!) by the end. Not one, adult nor teen friend felt the need to tell authorities anything. I hope it is not really like this in Hungaria, where if anything bad happens the police are never called. The title of this movie was stupidly chosen. The way it starts off will not be how it ends. Also very slow at times I was hitting the ff button. I do not recommend and I myself wish I had never seen this one.
