Yossarian Is Not a Hero
Hitchcoc25 May 2019
For those of you who don't sympathize with Yossarian because he enlisted are a little off base. Imagine that you took a job of some kind and when you signed on your job was defined. Once you started working, the bosses changed the rules and required you to work five times as hard. Add to that a part of your contract that says you can't quit. Catch 22 is about the cruelty of men who use their powers (giving nothing in return) and abuse the trust of their pilots and crews. Here Yo Yo is trying to gain a fair shake. He is not a coward. He has flown more missions than is even thought of with no fairness in sight.

A tough but nessasary hurdle

Warning: Spoilers
Your sympathies are really tested, especially with the moving of some string. Yet I personally still empathise with Yoyo and his stress. I would want out any way possible too. Really enjoying this series with its mix of humour in a horrible situation and a cast that make it very believable. Gonna finish this series soon as.

wars
Kirpianuscus9 June 2019
The war of Yossarian. And the big war. The virtue of Christopher Abbott is not to give the expected character with a familiar name from the first lecture , in highschool of the novel by Joseph Heller , but to translate the revolt against unfair orders , about absurdity of situations and, sure, for save his life. He does everything. And he does a real good job. The portrait of wars. For our lazy peaceful time. That is the virtue of the novel. And mini-serie, too.

Why!?

Warning: Spoilers
Yossarian is really getting in my nerves!!!! He's causing pain and turmoil because he can't man up and serve in the military like he vowed to serve. I hate this character. The end of this episode was extremely unexpected and UNNECESSARY and left me feeling very shaken! It was devastating. Be warned, this is NOT for the empathic viewer.
