This reviews JFK's first year in office. During this time we are treated to his connection with brother Bobby, who will really become a joint President. Shortly after being inaugurated, John listens to his advisors and launches the Bay of Pigs invasion, hoping to unseat Castro and stabilize the cold war. As we all know, it was an utter disaster. He then attempts to become a diplomat. He meets with Krueschev and gives away the store. But there are internal struggles as well. Of course, Jackie becomes a star and people flock to see her.

A fine exploration of 1961 . Events and reactions. A great collaboration between JFK and RFK and a chain of noble intentions and not the best consequences, from the Pig Bay to the war against Momo Giancana.
The series uses more than the gossip tone and this is just a virtue of episode.
And the end is just proper option for define a very long way to assume the power and a sort of deep loneliness , defining one of the most terrible challenges against yourself..
