- Strong violence occurs in battle scenes which feature stabbings, slashings and dismemberment with swords and spears, and soldiers struck with arrows.
- Outside the battle context, an elephant's trunk is sliced off, although this is presented with visual effects rather than involving a real animal, and captured soldiers are hanged from a scaffold.
- There is an undetailed torture sequence with a man strapped to a revolving spiked wheel which scores his back.
- A main charecter's hand is severly cut off with a sword which could be graphic to many viewers.

- There is a hand chopping scene right in the beginning of the film which is also shown in the trailer, the wound is briefly shown, an elephant's trunk is cut off in a game of human chess Blood drips from the remaining portion of the elephant's trunk, a soldier's wrist is chopped off and it falls on the ground holding a sword, there is no injury detail, Uday Bhan chops of the head of a Maratha soldier during the climatic battle and the severed head is shown lying on the ground, Tanjaji's right hand is chopped off by Uday Bhan and in the aftermath, the wound is shown with blood dripping from it, this scene is very graphic.
