How about a little gratitude
Abdulxoxo9 August 2020
Why are they all angry at Melanie, they should be thanking her. She saved their lifes ten times over. She deserved a little appreciation. Even Mr Wilford himself can't do better than she did for them.

The revolution is a massacre. So many life lost. One may begin to think, is it worth it?

a very boring episode with a great end
imdbmoviereviews7 July 2020
The entire episode was fairly predictable fairly boring and meaningless... some good parts but for the most part... just another filler but the end bashing the idiotic idealistic view was great

Still watching this, version of Les Misérables set on the future on a train!

Warning: Spoilers
OK this was episode 8 and I have never wanted to see a character killed off more then Andre Layton! His overly self righteousness is stomach turning. He talks about how poorly the people in the tail have been treated, but his trying to take over the train is as brutal and poorly thought out as much of the French Revolution!

Warning: Spoilers
Everything we've seen thus far has led to Snowpiercer episode 8, "These Are His Revolutions", in which the Tail finally rises up and begins making its bloody, treacherous way through all 1001 cars of Snowpiercer.

The best episode so far. Two episodes in a row was amazing, very nice. Still, when you look at the fight that everyone wants equality but that impossible to happen, someone will always want to be in charge or overpower else.

As if the premise of this show wasn't ridiculous enough
david_w_gibson31 January 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Whole premise of last people of the world surviving on a train was ridiculous already, saved in this show by fairly good characters and storyline, but now they want to kill the one person who has saved them because she isn't Mr. Wilford? Then at the end, the writers somehow miraculously spirit away, because he had to be taken from the "drawers" long before the 1st class and jackboots even knew there was a reason to need his help and of course they knew just which tailee that they drawered earlier in the show would turn on the rest of the people that he spent 7 years with, lmao, a disgruntled "Tailee" to 1st class so he can help them defeat Layton? Such "convenient" writing is appalling.

[6.2] Hatchet ver.8
cjonesas15 April 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Episode 8: An average episode with a cathartic flow, semi enthralling atmosphere divided between the Groups and the Tail revolution!, some generic good to bad acting, some nonsense as the very standard of the show, fillers for good measure and a fire that would consume them all soon.

Weak writing
lowrey-1547418 March 2021
I'm enjoying the show generally. But I felt the writing in this episode was lacking in multiple places. I won't write for spoilers but there just seems to be holes and inconsistencies in how they've tried to write the revolution to make it fit.

Finally reaching the revolution.
cruise017 July 2020
(2 out of 5 stars).

Characters finally fighting back. The tail end of train is rushing to the front. Everything is set in motion with most characters. The action and fight sequences are a bit of a bore. Boring. And not thrilling at all with a dull script and direction.
