Fella_shibby26 February 2020
In this episode Jonah feels bad for the execution of the Nazi n his ears keeps hearing the scream n his eyes the vision of his dead grandma. He leaves the team n like a typical teen, goes out with his friends singing, dancing n smoking weed. The camaraderie between him in his best pal sets the tone for the comeback of Jonah in the Hunters team after.......

Writer too young

In this episode three young men are sitting on the boardwalk passing around a joint. If you think marijuana was openly smoked in the eighties, you weren't there, we did that in a locked house with the shades pulled down.

Good but not like the first

Episode 1 was was dynamic! Loved it! Really held my interest even though it was basically move length. The last two have not been that caliber however. Still some good moments.

Also, um yes, all Nazis are white. Don't understand why a commenter would take issue with that? But a snowflake will snowflake.

Sit back ladies & gentlemen. I truly hope you continue to enjoy "The Godfather" and team Hunt Nazi's!

By now if your still watching your most likely already 100% sold on the series. Personally I've had my eyes glued to the screen ever since the opening BBQ! Even though there's been some minor setbacks. Which unfortunately means I'm going to have to cut this review short and return to Nazi Hunters!!!

About Average

I'm three episodes in and I'm still baffled by the Al Pacino of it all. Why decide now to make a scripted series on the internet? Shout out to the Coney Island dance sequence, I'ma sap to that stuff. Eh I'll probably watch it all.

While Visions of Safta Danced in His Head
Prismark1030 April 2020
An 'How to spot a Nazi' public service announcement to a dance routine of Stayin Alive from Saturday Night Fever. Hunters is better when it is quirky.

It also has flashbacks to the dehumanising treatment of Jews in the concentration camps.

While Travis stalks FBI agent Millie Morris. Murray and Mindy Markowitz find the hidden clues in the music tapes, it was in Morse code. It gives them to a date in the future.

There is less focus on Al Pacino's character and more on the other team members who are fleshed out.

For Jonah, various people tell him he is a lot like his grandmother than he thinks. A question of whether he is Batman or a sidekick Robin. One of his close circle of friends also displays bravery and loyalty.

Like other dramas from streaming services. There are signs that this could had been a truncated episode. So many times the same things are repeated. It makes me wonder if the oddball scenes are meant to be filler. Hunters got away with it in this episode but it may not in future ones.

Bad afro wigs and time period mistakes
geofgreene16 July 2020
I am three episodes into this series and absolutely love the acting and character development but the awful wigs worn by Roxy Jones (combo of Foxy Brown and Cleopatra Jones played by a mini Beyonce) and Cheeks looked as though they pulled them out from a cheezy high school dressing room. and please note that special attention needs to be paid to the extras in the scenes, at 29.49 in this episode, an extra is wearing Under Armour sneakers while on the boardwalk. They weren't in existence for another 40 years.

Episodes 2-3 should have been edited out

How to ruin the momentum of a series 101.

Who is Wayne Yip and how did he direct these two episodes so completely poorly that I am actually debating not continuing this series. Episode 1 was so brilliant, captivating & intriguing that I actually told friends to watch this series, boy do I look like an idiot now. I really hope that episode 4 cleans up the Soap Opera-esque acting and pacing that makes the tour de France seem like a sprint. Now, just like this show, this review has tapered off into oblivion....

Weak episode
cruise015 March 2020
2.5 out of 5 stars.

The weakest episode. Nothing happens. One over long development with characters which could have been trimmed down. And it was a slow direction.

Warning: Spoilers
So this one we begin with Agent Morris in a lackluster opening.

I donno why but this EP has been boring to me. Altho I did like the DANCING ON THE PIER TO 'STAYING ALIVE'!!!!

Agent Morris continues to close in on what is going on. She closes down on Ruth's death and finds out about 19 year old Jonah.

And Jonah's friend, gets blasted out by Travis at the end of this one. And I don't get why Jonah is now seeing some vision of young Ruth all the time. Did this become a paranormal show now???

-1 Star for the ghost activity now.....

"All Nazis are white people"
michael-johnson-au29 March 2021
Totally unnecessary and divisive. It added absolutely nothing to the episode.

Imagine something similar being said of another race, ethnic group or religion for no reason in the plot.

Wayne Yip Sucks.
keil-corcoran19 April 2020
Episodes 2 and 3 were unwatchable. Tonally unfocused budget Tarantino garbage. The rest of the show is fine but good lord, don't give Wayne Yip the reigns ever again.

It gets worst each episode
fabrisrocha28 May 2022
It seems like the series gets worst each episode. It could be really a masterpiece, if it wasn't for Logan Lerman's character and all that teenage thing they do. Also the jokes are always unfunny and unnatural. This episode disapointed me so much and the musical scene was ridiculous. The investigation from the fbi agent is a really good plot and I think the series would be a lot better if the focus was on that instead of showing Jonah playing with his friends and his crush.
