Easily the worst episode. So far. Let's not get ahead of ourselves. It could get worse.

Holy crap, what a snoozefest. What is with this pacing!? NOTHING IS HAPPENING! And that's not even including this dumb, teenager crap. There's absolutely no way the movie was ANYTHING like this. How the hell did this garbage get renewed for a second season? I'm almost never this expressive or harsh (or both) when commenting on an episode of a show, a season of a show, or the show itself, but I guess there's a first time for everything. I guess this appealed to a wide range of teenagers that love(d) the hell of it to warrant a second season renewal because there's no way anything remotely exciting happens in the next/last three episodes that will make the second season renewal worthwhile, even if it's just slightly.

Escape to the UK
lavatch1 April 2019
Warning: Spoilers
In these long televised miniseries, the pace typically lags in the middle stretch. But this fifth episode called "Town" keeps up a lively arc of development because the audience is struggling to learn about Hanna's past right along with her.

In this program, Hanna has escaped to the UK where she resides in the garage of Sophie's family. But she makes a fateful mistake in attending a local party, where she is photographed on the kids' cell phones. The savvy Marissa checks out Sophie on social media, to discover Hanna's whereabouts.

Marissa's life has been upended by the meddling of Sawyer, who has her placed in therapy and taken off of Hanna's case. For the first time, we see the unflappable Marissa hesitant and uneasy. There is dissonance at home with her caring husband. The man's child is rude and dismissive of Marissa. Above all, she is haunted by the deaths of the children and the role she played in the UTRAX experiment.

As Marissa assumes the name of Clare Simon and travels to the UK in search of Hanna, she is one step ahead of Sawyer, who is tracking down Erik. By threatening Dieter, Erik's old squadron leader from the Helmand campaign in Afghanistan, Dieter leads Sawyer to Erik's hideout. The nice young woman who was assisting Erik is murdered, and Erik is captured by Sawyer's thugs.

Meanwhile, in the UK, Sophie's family is plagued by dysfunction, and one of main problems is the bratty behavior of Sophie herself. Sophie also does too much blabbing and betraying of Hanna's confidence. She led the search party to Berlin by spilling the beans. Now, she is loose with her speech in talking to her friends about Hanna. Although she has been grounded, Sophie decides to take the van and escape for an excursion with Hanna and two of her male friends. By a campfire in the forest, Hanna quietly makes love with Anton. The plot thickens!

Half to half

This TV show is two in one: we have an interesting premise in the CIA unit versus rebels and another in the teen unit. If the script focused more on the first, the series would be splendid. But the incredible loss of time with the teen unit makes the plot significantly lose interest. I hope it gets better.

What Are You Doing???
wandernn1-81-6832749 August 2020
Warning: Spoilers
So Hanna manages to locate Sophie and goes to shack up with her. Sophie takes Hanna to a party of course, because Hannah just loves to dance.

ERic is recuperating from his bullet dodging and grazing. I've never seen a guy dodge so many automatic weapons while running in the wide open airport grounds. Some luck huh????

Marissa is back at home? Dreaming about hearing babies crying? Or maybe she was really hearing babies crying? I'm not really sure.

More random scenes.

Dieter returns home from work to find Sawyer in his home, threatening his kids. A sniper's laser pointer aimed at his son's face from across the street.

Hanna, problems at party watching movies.

Sophie, problems at home with parents.

Marissa, problems at home with husband.

Dieter betrays Eric and Leads Sawyer to Eric. Eric's female friend is killed .

Again, Sawyer and this company he works for, they have amazing flexibility in their legal permission to off people indiscriminately . Is there no law in any of these countries???

-1 Star for the illegal operations of this...Utrax company.

Hanna and Sophie take a van trip with their friends. Hanna starts getting down with her new friend while Sophie is passed out in the van. And other dude, he finds a crumpled document in the van that talks about Hanna's story. Ruh Roh.

At the end, Marissa is cruising around in her car I guess contemplating her evil, messed up life.

-1 Star for the most boring, inept, and illogical episode yet.

Just dull and predictable.

After 2 fantastic episodes this was a huge letdown. Boring, predictable, and a little cliche at times. Poor script and weak directing.

Great so far then major let down

Warning: Spoilers
People have said that the movie was bad, well look no farther this episode makes the series even worse, don't want to go into too much detail how I was very disappointed that they decided to make a scene which changes my whole perspective on hanna, hanna in the movie shares what I like to think is a sweet moment with her friend Sophie, both of them having their first kiss from someone of same gender, thus giving the LGBT community another badass of a character in movie history, but now she's kissing boys including having illegal sex, why make a series to do better than the movie to just destroy hanna completely?
